Tender For Painting Polishing And Other Miscellaneous Work => Limited; 1 Providing internal cement plaster upto 20mm thick (including adding waterproof compound @ 2% by weight of cement) in a single coat in cement mortar 1:4 without neeru finish to concrete or brick surfaces in all positions and curing complete. 2 Carefully removing existing EWC and keeping the same at designated location and refixing the same after the completion of repair works with necessary fittings and fixtures etc all complete as directed by Engineer In charge. Note: Incase of breaking/ cracking of any EWC Commode while removal or re fixing, Contractor has to fix a new Commode at his risk and cost. 3 Removing teak wood or aluminium paneled / partly glazed or veneer / plywood partitions, any type of ceiling carefully without damaging the frame or panels and taking out the same outside IIT Campus etc. complete. (Recovery of wood scrap will be done @ Rs. 25 per kg, aluminium scrap will be done @ Rs. 120 per kg and structural steel will be done @ Rs. 20 per kg from Item of work agains actual weigth if material taken outside campus) 4 Providing and fixing in position Calcium silicate board (hilux make) false ceiling as per India gypsum manufacturers instruction with 12 mm thick Calcium silicate board screw/fixed to the underside of suspended from the main ceiling as per manufactures instruction and specification. G. I. Grid should consist of ceiling sections at maximum center to center distance 450 mm, Perimeter channel intermediate 1200 mm. The ceiling section should be fixed to intermediate channel with connection clips G. I. Grid should be fixed to R.C.C.slab above with the help of 25mmX0.5mm strap hanger & soffit cleat. The joints between soffit cleat, strap hanger &G.I. grid should be fixed with nut bolts, Soffit cleats should be fixed to R.C.C. ceiling with W.E.type rawl plug& fastener maximum c/c distance (both ways) of strap hangers should be 1200mm including covering the furniture while working etc. .... more in document
