Make of RMU : ABB 15 Note for Item No 14:- The Work shall be carried out through the authorised service engineers of the OEM only 16 (b)Servicing of Manual operated, 11kV, three position load break switch with snap-action knife blade mechanism along with associated earthing switch. 17 (c)Servicing of true position mechanical indication of switch position ON, OFF and EARTH on the front facia of the panel for proper indication. 18 (d)Checking and tightening control wiring and rectifying the defects if any. 19 Repairing, overhauling, Servicing & testingof Vaccum circuit breaker11 KV, 630A to 800 Amps, 350/250 MVA, 66 KA Peak, 3 Phase, 50 Hz, AC Supply system, indoor type for trouble free operation, and VCBs are for incoming , Bus coupler & Bus riser and Outgoings ,metal clad totally enclosed free standing floor mounted type,and vaccum circuit breakers, draw out type HT VCBs includingthe following works complete all as specified and directed:- MRS (ABB/Siemens/CG/magawin) 20 Note for item No 15 :-(a) The rate for following shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate. 21 (b) The entire job shall be carried out through the authorised service engineers of the OEM only in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge/JE E/M. 22 (c) Servicing of Spout insulators safety shutter for effective covering by automatically open/close while draw in/draw out operations. 23 (d) Servicing of 3 Phase epoxy base isolating spout assemblies complete with isolating contacts and a pair of automatic safety shutter individually locking system. 24 (e) Servicing of Breaker with motor charging asembly including motor and control switches having standard safety interlocks and locking facilities, mechanical operating connector lever and extendable rails to easily draw out/in the VCB trolly from the panels. 25 (f) Servicing of Mech (caster lock) and elect inter locking system. 26 (g) Checking and tightening control wiring and rectifying the defects if any. 27 (h)Replacement of PTFuse 28 (j)Replacement of unserviceable spare parts will be measured and paid for separately. 29 (k)Any other spare parts which have not covered in the relevant items but are required to make in functional condition are deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate. 30 (l)Cost of labour element towards removing of unserviceable spare parts and re-fixing of serviceable spare parts for supply only items here-in-after shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate. Supply only spare parts shall be measured and paid separately. 31 Supply onlyagainst Item No. 14 above, Digital Microprocessor based Feeder protection Relay Model REF 615 for Over current and Earth fault including necessary necessary control wiring all as directed. 32 Supply only against Item No. 14 above, Electrical closing coil 110 volt DC operated all as directed. 33 Supply onlyagainst Item No.14 above, Electrical shunt trip coil 110 volt DC operated all as directed. 34 Supply only against Item No.14above,11 KV single phase in door resin cast CT of ratio 150/100/5A class 1.0/ 5P10,burden 15VA – 15 VA all as directed. 35 Supply onlyagainst Item No. 14above, Vaccum Interrupter (Vacum Bottle ) suitable for VCB all as directed. 36 Repair to transformer after disconnecting in coming HT connection and out going LT cable connection, draining out the transformer oil and keep in safe custody for reuse, disconnecting the breather assembly, temperature gauge, taking out the top cover of transformer 500 KVA, outdoor type, 11KV/433 Volt, step down, disconnecting LT/HT winding connections from LT/HT Bushing and carefully taking out LT/HT Bushing insulator and HT/LT Brass spindle, taking out gaskets of LT/HT Bushings and transformer top cover. Refixing exisiting LT/HT Brass spindle with Bushing insulators after replacing Gaskets, View glass of conservator tank, refixingall cable connections, top cover with new gasket, breather/temp gauge, refilling transformer oil, complete all as directed. 37 Note for item No 21 : (i) Transformer oil for topup, dehydration/filtration etc work will be measured and paid separately. 38 (ii) Complaints regarding Transformerwill be given in person or through telephone by AGE/JE E/M round the clock (ie 24 Hrs x 7 days). 39 (iii) The contractor shall attend the complaint immediately. and shall report the Engr-in-Charge/JE( E/M) after completion. 40 (iv) Penalty of Rs 5000.00 per Job shall be applicable to the contractor if the complaint is not attended immediately. Note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt. 41 (v)The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regards shall be final and binding. 42 (vi) In case the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within a period of 6 hrs then the same shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the completion of the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC and thesame complaintshall be completed with in the period decided by the GE/EIC.The penalty of Rs 5000/ per Jobshall also be applicable to the contractorfor non-completion of complaint with in the time decided by the GE/EIC. 43 (vii) Transportation charges for transportation of transformer from site to workshop and after repair, workshop to site shall be borne by the contractor and cost thereof including tools and plants shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item. 44 (viii) Transformer oil shall be drained out by the contractor in suitable capacity mild steel drums to be arranged by the contractor. The said drained out transformer oil shall be refilled in the transformer duly dehydrated after repair and the cost thereof shall be included in unit rate quoted against the respective item of this schedule. 45 (ix) Testing of transformer after repair shall be carried out as per IS 2026 (Part 1): 2011at site in the presence of E-in- Charge/ JE and the cost of testing shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted against this item. 46 (x) The IR value of the dried winding before inserting the core in the shell shall be measured and recorded. 47 All as per itemNo. 21 above but of capacity of transformer 160 KVA to 200 KVA. 48 All as per itemNo.21above but of capacity of transformer upto 100 KVA. 49 M & L removing HT cable, 11 KV, XLPE 185 Sqmm 3 core with aluminium conductor, shifting to other location (not exc 2 KM distance) and relaying same cable in trenches/through pipes or bare in road crossings/ paths/drains/ducts/ floors /along poles/walls/ ceilings/ equipments etc. all as directed. Note No 1 : The unit rate is deemed to be included for :-(a)Excavation for taking down existing cable, shifting of cable as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge and relaying cable including required excavation as specified in SSR Part-I.(b)Disposal and return filling.Note No 2 : Sand cushioning and PCC cover shall be measured and paid separatley under relevant item. 50 Supply and laying in trenches/through pipes or bare in road crossings/paths/ drains/ ducts/ floors/along poles/equipments etc. Cable Under ground, cross linked poly-ethylene (XLPE) insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip armoured, electric power cables with aluminium conductor, earthed,11 KV grade,of cross sectional area 185 Sqmm x 3 core laid including taking down existing cable from trenches/ duct or any position all as specified and directed. 51 S & F Un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover class HV Type 1, flat size 300mm x 180 mm x 40 mm thick including taking down existing one of any size complete all as per specified and as directed. 52 S & Fin repairs Cable route indicators for HT cable with CI plate and angle iron 25x25x6mm showing MES,HT/LT cable,and voltage including excavation earth work and PCC complete all as per specified and as directed. . 53 S & F in repair Out door cable straight through jointing kit (Heat shrinkable) suitable for XLPE under ground aluminium conductor cable, 11 KV (Earthed) grade, of cross sectional area 185 Sqmm 3 core complete all as per specified and as directed. 54 M&L for insulation resistance testing of LT UG cable, XLPE insulated, armoured electric power cable with aluminium conductor 1100V grade of size from 300 sqm to 400 sqm 3.5 core after disconnecting the both end of the cable from transformer/ LT panel/ DBs and reconnecting the same after carryout the test all as specified here under and as directed by the engineer-in-charge . 55 M&L for insulation resistance testing of LT UG cable, XLPE insulated, armoured electric power cable with aluminium conductor 1100V grade of size from 70 sqm to 95 sqm 3.5 core after disconnecting the both end of the cable from transformer/ LT panel/ DBs and reconnecting the same after carryout the test all as specified here under and as directed by the engineer-in-charge . 56 Note for Item No. 29 & 30 :- (i) The quoted unit rate deemed to be included for disconnecting the cable from the transformer/ LT panel/DBs and reconnecting the same after the insulation resistance test. 57 (ii) The insulation resistance shall be tested between the conductors. 58 (iii) The insulation resistance shall be tested between the conductor and armoured/ earth. 59 (iv) The contractor shall arrange necessary testing instruments of suitable range and cost for the same shall deem to be included in the quoted unit rate. 60 (v) Test to be conducted in the presence of MES rep and concerned user and will record it in prescribed format. Test records duly signed by all to be submitted by the contrator to the Engineer-in-charge. 61 (vi) If any damages found at end termination of the cable, same shall be rectified by using suitable size of lugs / nuts & bolts for the reconnection of cable in transformer/ LT Panel/ DBs. cost for the same shall deem to be included in the quoted unit rate. 62 (vii) Cost of earth work required for disconnecting and reconnecting the cable shall deem to be included in the quoted rate. 63 (viii) Any major item required to rectify the defect shall be measured and paid seperately. 64 (ix)Checking of earth resistance of chemical/conventional earthing, identifying the earth and recording of test results in a prescribed format all as directedby Engr-in-Charge. 65 M & L removing of acumulated earth of any width and depth up to 30 cm. cleaning/cutting the grass around two/ four pole structure, transformer yard,sub stn,generator rooms etc and removing the grass waste to outside MD land completed all as specified and as directed.Note :- The unit rate is deemed to be included :-(a)Cuttingand filling shall be cleared of shrubs, vegetation, grass bush, weed, trees and sapling not exceeding 30 cm in girth, measured at a height of two metre above ground level. Useful material shall be stacked.(b)Cutting the grass/feilling of trees shall include digging out roots up to 60 cm below the ground level or 14 cm below the formation level, whichever is lower. All holes and hollows formed in the ground digging out of roots shalll be carefully filled up with moorum/red bajri well rammed and levelled. 66 Supply and fixing HT tape roll 35mm width Appx 5 mtr length completed all as specified and as directed. 67 M & L for disconnecting in coming HT and out going LT cable connections and taking down Transformer of any type/size/make/capacity from 2/4 Pole structure or from floor/pedestal and shifting to new location with in 3 KM and install where directed, refixingHT/LT cable connections complete all as specified and directed. Note:-Any damages happened in transformer during lifting/ shifting/ installation work, the same will be rectified by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt 68 Excavating in trenches n. exc. 1.5m wide and n. exc. 1.5m in depth for foundation etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc. n. exc. 10sq.m. on plan and n. exc. 1.5m in depth and getting out in hard/ dense soil complete all as specified and directed. 69 Returning, filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.. 70 Removing excavated materials to a distance not exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.50m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.. 71 M & L riddling Sand obtained from excavation for cable protection 8cm under the cable and 15cm above the cable in trench and get the thick layer of 18cm after ramming. Note :- In case sufficient sand not obtained from excavation, the required additional qty obtain from out side MD land as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The rate is deemed to be included. 72 S & F XLPEinsulated,screened, PVC Bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable heavy duty with aluminium conductor 1100Volts grade cross sectional area 240 Sqmm 3.5 core laid in trenches /ducts/fixed to wall/pole/ inside panel/ drawn through pipe including cable glands and terminal sockets, taking down existing cable etc all as specified and directed. Note :- Necessary excavation and earth work, sand cushioning & bricks for protection shall be measured and paid separately. 73 M & L boring of hole under road/ hard standing by trenchless technology including S&F HDPE pipe heavy duty of size 100mm bore fixed in repairs complete all as specified and directed 74 M & L cutting existing road/PCC/Drain for laying of DI/GI or any typeof pipe including necessary earthwork, excavation exc 600mm depth but not exc 1mtr depth, wide 800mm including making existing surface with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm aggregate thickness of concrete is 150mmcomplete all as specified and directed. 75 Note for item No 40 :-The tenderer shall take into consideration for following points while quoting his rate for this item andthe unite rate is deemed be included for :- 76 (i) Earth work excavation in any type of soil 77 (ii) Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed. 78 (iii) Removing excavated material to out side MD land 79 (iv)Laying of any type/any bore of pipe in trenches including taking down any description. Note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt. (v)The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regards shall be final and binding. (vi) The transportation/ T&P required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor and no extra cost will be paid for the same. 85 Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemicalearthing system comprising 17mm dia copper bondedrod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 Kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducingliquid. The earthing energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be tested as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTM G57-06, CI 3.4 A by any NABL accredited lab. The above mentioned rod shall be installed in 4-6 inch bore, 12 feet depth with a distance of minimum 3 meters between each installation including taking down existing oneall as directed. 86 The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following :- (i)Prior toinstallation of maintenance free chemicalearthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthingwork to be donein presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has tosubmitto Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection ofearthing (not more than 04 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testingandsubmission of report with recommendationdeemed to be included in the quoted rate. 87 (ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors. 88 (iii) Rateofearth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earthresistance reducingliquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate. 89 (iv)Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor before commencement of work. 90 (v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH valve should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete. 91 (vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm shouldbe fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end ( The rate of earthing strip up to7.5 Mtrs is included in the quoted rate). 92 (vii)Testing of earth shall be carriedout in presence ofdepartmental and user representativeand report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concern. 93 (viii)Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor.Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab. 94 (ix)Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintened duly signed by all concerned.After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained. 95 (x) The contractor shall given a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion. 96 (xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including dry or rocky soil. 97 (xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is mainained. 98 (xiv) The electrode shallcarry manufacturers name . 99 (xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper boundedrodto avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination. 100 (xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm. 101 (xvii)The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bonded rod to ensure genuity of material. 102 (xviii) Sign boardof mild steel 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxideZinc chrome primer showing result of earthing should be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge. 103 (xix)Earth work such as auguring andmaking good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil. 104 S & F Earth pit cover madeof heavy duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene tested and certified by any NABL accredited lab for load bearing capacity not less than 9.2 tonnes with top dia not less than 250mm, bottom dia not less than 330 mm and height not less than 260 mm dia for each electrode pit complete including taking down existing one all as specified and directed.Note :- The contractor shall submit load bearing capacity certificate from the manufacturer. 105 S & F Copper strip 20 x 3mm thick as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc including taking down existing one all as directed. If complaint is not rectified within the stipulated period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs. 500/- per hours shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. 122 (ix)Note that penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW-2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt.
