Tender For Repairs To Roads And Joint Filling Of Roads At Certain Locations At Af Station Suryalanka.; 1 M&L for repairs to pot holes of depth exceeding 30mm, not exc 1.0 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surfaces in road path etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm deep and making good by applying tack coat with paving bitumen of VG 10 @ 5 Kg/10 Sqm and putting in premix bituminous of VG 30 as binder content by weight of total mix well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm blinded with 0.09cum of stone chipping 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including premixed macadam, binder and chippings) laid and rolled with 8 to 12tonne roller and compacted and consolidated thickness complete all as specified and as directed. 2 M&L for Premix Bituminous Macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen of any penetration @4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified and as directed. 3 M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG 10 grade @ 5Kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed. 4 M&L for Bituminous premix Semi-Dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5%binder (Bitumen VG 30 grade) content by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mix plant laid with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note : In the event of excess quantity of binder content is necessitated due to mix design of asphaltic concrete, the same shall be provided by the contractor and no price adjustment shall be applicable. 5 S&Fin repairs Solar cat eye aluminium alloy (100% water proofing design according to IP 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono crystalline solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one Ni-Cd rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. complete all as specified and directed 6 Providing and layingfactory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position (at or near ground level) to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall notmore than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required completeall as specified and directed. 7 M&Lfor preparing the surface, providing and applying 2mm thick road marking/painting strips (continuous or breaking) n.exc 10 cm wide of white colourusing hot thermoplastic material conforming to BS standards 3262by fully/semi automatic thermoplasticpaint applicatormachine driven by experienced operator on road surface complete all as specified and as directed. 8 M&L for preparing old surfaces of walls plastered or uplastered including brooming down or wire brushing, scrapping down and applying one coat of primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paintcomplete all as specified and as directed. 9 M&L preparing old steel surfaces of any description, over 10cm in width or girth, applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint to match existing surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. 10 M&L for writing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) n.exc 30cm height complete all as specified and as directed. 11 All as per item No 10 above but but stops, commas, short lines, dashes, hyphens, brackets etc. 12 M&L for Cutting, racking out sealant of expansion joint 18 mm to 22 mm wide and 30 to 33 mm depth, including scrapping the spilled compound from edges of existing joints, cleaning the sides and bottom of joints, by compressed air including priming and filling the joints with two component polysulphide polymer based pour gradeUV resistant flexible tear resistant self levelling pourable, non staining sealant all as specified including removing the scrapped materials to a distance exceeding 250 m and not exceeding 500 m complete all as specified and directed. Make: shaliseal PS PG,sika PS PG or any approved equivalent . 13 All as per item No 12 above but construction / dummy joints 8 to 15 mm wide and 20 to 25 mm depth.
