The intake well upto floor level shallbe firmly based on suitable foundation made with well sinking tecgnology including construction of coffer damand Annular raft/ well foundation , including construction of 1.20 m. wide R.C.C. balcony at plinth level, construction of Pump House made of brick masonry, duly embraced within R.C.C. column, and fitting of doors and windows, making opening arrangement at floor level of pump house (9.00 m. dia and 6 m. height)and construction of 1.20 m. wide R.C.C. balcony at Pump house floor levelincluding S.S. Rolling Shutter, steel cage hinged with locking arrangement, duly supported on steel girder. Over head tank above ground level with main components, based on IS-3370 and IS 11682 or liquid storage concrete in over head tank and foundation concrete as per specification in I.S. 2911.Following capacity/StagingAll Components of OHT will be casted in M-30 concrete with cement, coarse sand and approved stone grit asI.S. 456.Minimum depth of founditation below original ground level will be 2.0 M and in pile Foundation .Seismic effects and wind load should be taken into consideration as I.S. 1893for earthquake resistance and I.S. 875 part-III for wind load on structure.
