Tender For Maintenance of various Sports Complexes / Golf Courses (A/R and M/O of works at Common Wealth Games Village Sports Complex for the year 2025-26). Sub. Head:-Repair/Replacement of damaged maple wood, grinding & polishing of maple wooden flooring at badminton hall Common Wealth Games Village Sports Complex.(Specialized work); 1 Grinding & Polishing maple wood flooring with 3 phase machine grinding using 36 60 and 120 grid abrasives with special drum sanders followed by base preparation with French chak and WP-4 seatant (approved quality) and finally finishing with oil modified approved top coat with WP-1 (approved quality) in accordance with MFMA norms etc complete as per direction of Engineer-in- charge. 2 Providing and fixing of MFMA certified 3rd & better grade Hard maple wood tongue and grooved planks of 20mm thick, 57mm wide in required length supported by pine/spruce/fir padded runners, duly treated with wood life anti treatment, of section 63.5mm x 38mm placed with distance between the runner to be 9 along the width of the court. Imported safe sleeper shock absorption pads of 19 mm thick to be provided under the runners for shock absorption. A vapour barrier will also be introduced between sub floor and frame work. The frame will be duly fastened to the sub floor with the aid of clamps. The floor will be duly levelled with three phase machine grinding, joint sealing with French chalk and sanding sealer followed by polishing with oil based polyurethane finish, and paint game lines to be carried out in required colours all complete and the flooring shall be approved by BWF and as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge (The rates includes dismantling of existing flooring). 3 Re- Fixing of existing maple wood floor with tightly interlocked tongue and groove system supported by existing pine/spruce/fir padded runners and distance between the runner to be 9 along the width of the court. The Frame will be duly levelled and fastened to the sub floor with the aid of clamps and as per the direction of engineer in charge (the rates includes dismantling of existing portion of flooring). 4 Supplying chemical emulsion in sealed containers including delivery as specifieda) Chlorpyriphos/Lindane emulsifiable concentrate of 20% 5 Diluting and injecting chemical emulsion for POST-CONSTRUCTIONAL anti-termite treatment (excluding the cost of chemical emulsion) :Treatment of soil under existing floors using chemical emulsion @ one litre per hole, 300 mm apart including drilling 12 mm diameter holes and plugging with cement mortar 1 :2 {1 cement : 2 Coarse sand) to match the existing floor: With Chlorpyriphos/Lindane E.C. 20% with 1% concentration 6 Providing wood work in frames of doors, windows, clerestory windows and other frames, wrought framed and fixed in position with hold fast lugs or with dash fasteners of required dia & length (hold fast lugs or dash fastener shall be paid for separately).Kiln seasoned and chemically treated hollock wood 7 Disposal of building rubbish/malba/similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.
