Tender For Short Term Maintenance Work From Ch. 142.000 To 145.100 On Nh-09 (Old Nh-125) In The State Of Uttarakhand; 1 Road Maintenance 2 Clearing Grass and Removal of Rubbish Clearing grass and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 30 m outside the periphery of the area as per Technical Specification Clause 201. (By Manual Means) 3 Hill Side Drain Clearance (Removal of earth from the choked hill side drain and disposing it on the valley side manually) 4 Cleaning of partially choked scupper and catchpit complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 5 Road Property Maintenance 6 Road Delineators (Supplying and installation of delineators (road way indicators, hazard markers, object markers), 80-100 cm high above ground level, painted black and white in 15 cm wide stripes, fitted with 80 x 100 mm rectangular or 75 mm dia circular reflectorised panels at the top, buried or pressed into the ground and confirming toIRC-79 and the drawings.) 7 Retro- reflectorised Traffic signs -Providing and fixing of retroreflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC :67 made of Class-B Type IV retro reflective sheeting fixed over 2 mm thick Aluminium sheeting vide clause 801.3, 3mm/4mm thick Aluminium composite material sheet depending onthe size of the sign fixed over back support frame of min 25 x 25 x 3mm Angle mounted on a mild steel circular pipe 65 NB ,3.2 mm thicknness firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M25 grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing. (As per PWD Uttarakhand specifications) 15 Plain/reinforced cement concrete in substructure complete as per drawings and technical specification Clauses 802, 804, 805, 806, 807, 1202 ans 1204 P.C.C. grade M 20 Nominal mix (1:2:4) (For height upto 5 m) 16 Construction of K.C. type drain in M-20 grade cement concretebase slab 60 cm wide, vertical wall 40 cm wide and 15 cm thick cement concrete in proportion 1:3:6as per Drawing including supply of all material, labour, T&P etc. required for proper completion of the work. 17 Contruction of Hill side U drain in CCM-20 and covered by M.S. Frame as per detail drawing including supply of all material, labour, T &P etc. required for proper completion of the work. 18 Surface Drains in Ordinary Rock (Construction of unlined surface drain of average cross sectional area 0.4 sqm in ordinary rock to specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions as per approved design and to the requirement of clause 301 to 309. Excavated material to be used in embankment at site.) Mechanical Means 19 Pavement Patch Repairs 20 Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density.) By Mechanical Means: Grading- III (Using Screening Crushable type such as Moorum or Gravel) 21 Prime Coat over WMM/WBM Providing and applying primer coat with SS1 grade bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 kg/sqm using mechanical means. 22 Providing and applying tack coat using VG-10 grade bitumen Over granular surfaces treated with primer @ 0.40 kg/sqm . 23 Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam-I (Providing and laying dense graded bituminous macadam with higher capacity batch type HMP using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.0 per cent by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRTH specification clause No. 505 complete in all respects) 24 Tack coat using VG-10 grade bitumen Over dry and hungry bituminous surfaces @0.40 kg/sqm 25 Bituminous Concrete Grading -II (Providing and laying bituminous concrete with higher capacity batch type hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.4 per cent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No. 507 complete in all respects) 26 Road Marking with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface (Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes.) 27 Road Studs / Cat Eye:Providing and fixing of single mould twin shank reflective road studs of ‘category A’ Raised pavement markers made out of poly carbonate/ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face with retro reflectance and chromaticity values shall be as given in the detailed specifications and the product shall conform to ASTM D4280. The raised pavement marker shall also meet all the testing conditions of ASTM D4280 and fixed to the road surface using the adhesive recommended by the manufacturer. Two cylindrical Polymer Shanks of not less than 20 mm diameter and not less than 30 mm length shall be molded in the RPM body. The reflective raised pavement markers shall also confirm to the MORTH circular No RW / NH. 33023/10/ 97-DO.III and the length ,height and width of the body shall not be less than 100 mm, 15 mm and 90 mm and base of marker shall be flat within 1.3 mm and outermost faces of configuration of marker shall not deviate more than 1.3 mm from a flat surface. The marker shall support a load of 13635 Kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The marker shall withstand flexural strength of 909 kgf force in accordance with ASTM D4280. Marker lenses shall be moulded of Polycarbonate or methyl methecrylate conforming to ASTM D788. The area of each retro reflectory surface shall not be less than 13.0 sq.cm. The slope or retro – reflectory surface shall be 35 + 5 degree to base. Each reflector shall have a CIL not less than values specified in table 1 of MORTH Section 800 page no. 353 and should accompany two year warranty for satisfactory field performance from the manufacturer. 28 Maintenance of Earthen Shoulder (filling with fresh soil) (Making up loss of material/ irregularities on shoulder to the design level by adding fresh approved soil and compacting it with appropriate equipment.)
