Tender For Periodical Services To Md Accommodation (Offers) Under Age B/R-Ii Of Ge (N) Mamun; 1 Complete removal of existing treatment from walls/roof by brooming down with broom or steel wire brush and scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss, efflorescent salts, trading oil and greasy spots etc, applying wall care putty for making the surface even and smooth and applying one coat of antifungal weather proof exterior emulsion acrylic paint, complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: Where thickness of putty is required more than 1mm thick, the same shall be make good using POP and than putty shall be applied to obtain even & smooth surface and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. 2 M&L for water proof cement based putty @ 1 kg (undiluted) per Sqm of average thickness 1mm over the plastered/ old prepared surface of wall,sanding of putty surface with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vaccum mechanismwith internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by paint manufacturer) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 240 grit or above to make the surface smooth, clean, free from dust etc using following steps complete all as specified and directed:-Step 1 :- Mix the putty powder by adding water as per manufacturers instruction, mix it with putty mixer with the mixing capacity of min 2.5 kg putty per minute.Step 2 :- Apply the first coat of the prepared mixer with the help of fully automatic airless spray machine of putty application finishing the surface even and smooth in level without any undulations.Step 3 :- Allow 6-8 hrs time to dry the putty surface.Note: The work shall be got done through skilled workmen with proper masking on face to avoid enhaling of dust during execution of work. 3 M&L for one coat of acrylic water based exterior grade primer @ 0.9 litre (undiluted)/ 10sqm diluted with water in 1:1 ratio,applied with fully automatic airless spray machine and allow 6-8 hours to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats complete all as specified and directed. 4 M&L for water based premium acrylic smooth exterior emulsion of approved colour with silicon additive excellent dirt pickup resistance with low VOC less than 50, antifungal / anti algai properties in two coats @ 1.79 litre (undiluted) / 10 Sqm diluted with water as per manufacturers instruction applied over primed surface with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of minimum 1 litre per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI. Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface in between 1st and subsequent coats of paint complete all as specified and directed.Note for item No. 01 to 04 :-The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :-(a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorised applicator through manufacturer ofthe materials like Exterior Emulsion paint, putty etc after approval by the GE. (b) The Contractor shall upload with the documents under cover I Memoradum of Understanding (MOU) with at least one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract, failing which the bid shall be laible to be rejected.(c) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures.(d) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc(e) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary.(f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes.(g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery , electric fittings , wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint shall be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.(h) Sample patch of 10Sqm shall be prepared considering all the items each of periodical, got the same approved from the GE before execution of work. No work shall be executed untill unless the sample patch is approved.(j) The work found not in confirmity to approved sample patch shall be rejected by the Engineer in Charge/ GE and shall be redone by the contractor without any extra cost. 5 M&L forpreparation of old plastered/ unplastered surface of walls by washing rubbing, stopping brooming down with steel wire brushing scrapping down smoke roots, moulds moss and effloroscent salts and trading oil and greasy spots including filling of cracks and small holes with crack filling paste, making even and smooth, whitening complete and applying two coat of white wash complete all as specified & directed 6 M&L forpreparation of old plastered/ unplastered surface of ceiling by washing rubbing, stopping brooming down with steel wire brushing scrapping down smoke roots, moulds moss and effloroscent salts and trading oil and greasy spots including filling of cracks and small holes with crack filling paste, making even and smooth, whitening complete and applying one coat of white wash complete all as specified & directed 7 M&L for preparation old plastered/ unplastered surfaces of walls of any type/description viz. distemper, emulsion etc, cleaning surface to receive finish, mechanical means/ grinder stopping the holes/dipressions with POP/whiting/putti where required to obtain smooth, even surface and applying one coat of oil emulshion distemper over a coat of primer complete all as specified & directed. Note: Where thickness of putti is required more than 1mm thick, the same shall be make good using POP and than putti shall be applied to obtain even & smooth surface. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. 8 M&L for preparation old plastered/ unplastered surfaces of walls of any type/description viz. distemper, emulsion etc, cleaning surface to receive finish, mechanical means/ grinder stopping the holes/dipressions with POP/whiting/putti where required to obtain smooth, even surface and applying two coat of oil emulshion distemper over a coat of primer complete all as specified & directed. Note: Where thickness of putti is required more than 1mm thick, the same shall be make good using POP and than putti shall be applied to obtain even & smooth surface. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. 9 M&L for preparation old steel or iron surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paintcomplete all as specified and as directed. 10 Preparation of old painted wood or wood based surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth, not otherwise describedand applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint, complete all as specified and as directed. 11 Taking down cement plaster on brick walls or stone walls of any description etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc, rubbish off the premises, complete all as specified and directed. 12 10mm thick rendering on concrete surface of ceiling, chajjas etc. in CM 1:6 finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed. 13 15mm thick rendering cement plaster on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar (1:4) mixed with WPC finished even and smooth without using extra cementcomplete all as specified and directed.Note: WPC shall be measured and paid for separately. 14 M&L for plastering 10 mm thick in CM 1:3 in fascia / edging / ceiling of Chajjas,roof projections etc, making the edges in line, in true shape and finishing the surface without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. 15 Supply only integral water proofing compound complete all as specified & directed. 16 Rust Treatment of exposed rebars :-M&L for applying one coat of single component rust removal @ 0.10 Kg/Sqm area of old corroded/ rusted bars in RCC/ beam/ colomuns/ slab/ chajjas etc and allow to dry for at least 8 hrs and cleaning the treated bars with steel wire brush and apply one coat of corrosion protection primer having 70 % zinc rich epoxy further applying 3rd coat of epoxy based bonding agent to old concrete/ plaster all as per manufacture instructions and complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note: Qty of Zinc based epoxy rust prevent or only shall be taken into account for payment purpose on the basis of actual consumption. 17 M&L for taking down and peel off / removal of loose / disintegrated old concrete / plaster, applyingbonding coat of modified styrene butadiene emulsion (SBR Bonding agent i.e.Nitobond SBR 45) in proportion 1 (Nitobond SBR 45) : 1(water) : 3 (OPC) by volume with the brushes etc to bind New Cement plaster/ polymer Modified plaster/ concrete/ screed concrete with old surface etc incl filling minor cracks (thickness upto 40 mm) make the surfaces in true line, even & smoothcomplete all as specified and directed. 18 M&L for demolition of old loose concrete (reinforced), replacement of decayed/ rusted steel with new TMT steel & binding with old bars and filled the area/ cast with readymade micro concrete as per manufactures instructions all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note for Srl Item Nos 14, 15 & 16.(a)Cost of all necessary formwork & scaffolding upto G+2 story is deemed to be included in the item, nothing shall be padi extra for the same 19 Preparation of new plastered or unplastered external surfaces of wall and chajjas and applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat of alkali-resistant priming paint, complete all as specified and directed. 20 Preparation of new plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls and applying 2mm thick wall care putty and making the surface smooth & applying two coats of oil emulsion paint over a coat of priming paint, complete all as specified and directed. 21 Preparation of newplastered or unplastered surfaces of wall and applying three coats of white wash,complete all as specified and directed. 22 Preparation of newplastered or unplastered surfaces of ceiling and applying three coats of white wash,complete all as specified and directed. 23 Taking down eaves gutters and rainwater pipes 100 mm dia (any size or pattern), including all fitting, head, shoes, bend, swan-nacks etc., including cleaning or refixing and removal complete all as specified & directed. 24 S&F for 110mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, laid in trenches or in floors including packing under, and haunching against thesides of pipes after they are laid and tested; in complete all as specified & directed. 25 S&F PVC (SWR) 110mm bore bends any radius, complete all as specified and directed. 26 Hacking out old broken glass ( any thickness , size, quality, or description) from wooden / steel frame glazed with putty or fixed with beads, rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed. 27 S&F 3mm thick sheet glass ordinary quality and glazing with oil putty or fixed with bead/glazing pins in squares not exc 0.50 Sqm in each pane complete all as specified and directed.
