The new pipeline interconnection at West Sreenagar area near Kanu tea shop Ward No 21for betterment of water supply, under North Dum Dum Municipality..- 1 Cutting & picking up existing metalled black top portion of road surface to an average depth of 300 mm. by using jack hammer with all necessary tool and plant including screening the serviceable materials & stacking within a lead of 75mtr. all complete as per direction of the E.I.C 2 Labour for taking out old soling including removing debris to flank or berm, sorting out etc. a) Single Flat Soling 3 Hire charges of moveable type mounted earth excavator having minimum cutter size (1.0m3) & loader size (2.0 m length x 0.75 m width) for cutting & removal of any kind of soil,spoli etc including cost of fuel,lubricants & manpower etc. in water supply works.For beyond 8hrs of working 4 All types of CI specials (viz. Bend, Tee, Taper, Tail piece, Collar etc. size conforming to IS specification 1538:1993 a) socket & spigot endi) 80mm to 300mm 5 Manufacturing and supplying M.S. saddle with 10 mm. thick M.S. Pipe, 25 mm. thick M.S. Flange including fabrication true to size with M.S. Clamp, drilling hole on angle /flat, gas cutting and welding etc. 8 in / 6in 6 Wet connection with M.S. Saddle on running mains by drilling with electric drill, plugging with wooden plug using nut and bolts, rubber insertion, dewatering trenches all complete excluding cost of M.S. saddle & earth work. 8 in / 6 in 7 Shifting house connection or stand post connection from existing main to new main after excavation through any kind of soil and road materials up to required depth, dismantling existing ferrule with all fitings , pluggings hole of old main with GI plug drilling and tapping the new main, refixing the ferrule on the new main with serviceable old GI pipes and other specials and back filling the trench with excavated materials all complete as per specification and direction of the engineer-in-charge. 8 Supply, delivery and unloading and proper staking at site of multi jet class B domestic/commercial water metering system (size 15mm) strictly confirming to IS 779-1994 with all amendements or MID with AMR compatibility, cost for supply of water meter part B. 9 Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains in all sorts of soil(including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing spreading or stacking the spils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches. leveling,. dressing and ramming the bottom. bailing out water as required complete.a) Depth of excavation notexceeding1500mm. 10 Dewatering by pumps including all leads. lifts and making all arrangement of dispisal where continuous flow of water from a source other than natural or ground water is encountered in case of emergency maintenance works related to leakage. breakage and making wet connections.note:- In case of any other situation demanding such emergency dewatering use of this item is to be apporved by the Superintending Engineer/Tender Accepting Authority. This item shall be executed on the specific direction duly supported by proper clarification of the E.I.C 11 Supply of Ductile Iron K7 (DI) pipes confirming to IS:8329-2000 at project site including stacking, loading, unloading, labour, transportations etc complete 200 mm 12 150 mm 13 Lowering any type Ductile Iron pipes (DI) & specials and laying along trench at any depth as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.[For laying over ground. The rates shall be reduced by 10% and the rates so reduced shall be inclusive of cost of holding arrangements. 200 mm 14 150 mm 15 Supply and delivery of CIDF sluice valve (Special type) PW-1.00 of different dia make with CI double flanged non rusting spindle sluice valves conforming to IS 14846 -2000 with latestemended having body dome/bonnet and cover of C.I.Gr-F.G 210mtr. spindle of IS-6603 G.R-12/Gr-13 non-magnetic, nuts seat rings are of Gunonetal as per IS:318 LTB-2 flanges and drilled to IS:1538 Part IV & VI valves are suitable for max. working pressure of 10kg/cm2(seat test) and body tested to 15kg/cm2.N.B: The above item should be procured from the reputed manufactures as per deptt. approved vender list v) 200 mm dia. 16 Supplying including cost of installation of cast iron mechanical compressionflange socket tail piece for connecting flange fittings to the plain(spigot) ends of CI/DI pipes 200 mm 17 Supplying, fitting and fixing of C I Mechanical Compression flexible collar couplings suitable for inch size CI pipes and D I pipes confirming to class B of BS :1211 complete with sealing rubber gasket of EDPM quality IS :5382/1985 Type 4 Cast iron follower glands and mild steel nut bolts zinc coated, The whole assembly should be mechanically and hydraulically tested to the provisions as laid down in IS : 1538. Fitting and fixing should be in proper position with proper care of main pipe line for leak proof condition. 150 mm 18 Disinfection of water main by filling with water containing bleaching powder of sufficient quantity capable of maintaining a resudiual chlorine concentration of 10mg/1 within the main after a detention period of two hours and flushing the same with fresh water all complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge{After successful completiion of the process disposal of water and bacteriological testing of sample of flushed out water from the mains shall be made at no extra cost]150 mm 19 200 mm 20 Lowering, fitting and fixing of all types of valves in proper position and alignment using chain pully block or crane(for diameter above 250 mm.) by prividing temporary support, as reaquired gasket nuts & bolts etc all completeas per specification and direction of E.I.C200 mm 21 Inserting C.I.specials and Valves etc for interconnection with the exting wet main if any including excavation of trenches in any kind of soil& road torequired depth bailing out normal water from trenchs cutting the existing C.I pipes/Specials carefully and withdrawing the same including filling up the trench as per specification and instruction of the Engineer-in-charge of the work( valve;Collars,Specials lead joints lowering valves pipes shoring as when required will be paid seoerately as per schedule rate) 22 Lighting arrangement including temporary wiring and connecting to holder,bulbs etc hosting of generator set operator etc complete. 6.00PM to 5.00A.M 23 Hire charges of lighting generator of capacity 5KVA including fuel ,mobil,operator,carriage etc including all complete for water supply works. For minimum engagement of 8hrs in a day 24 Construction of different dia Sluice valvechamber in different sizes for village road where light traffic run and for main road where heavy traffic run as deptt.approved drawing with 25cm thick brick work (1:6) over cement concrete (4:2:1) over a single B/F soling over150mm.thick sand filling in foundation including earth work in excavation and disposal of excess earth from work site with RCC(1:1.5:3) cover slab 100mm / 150mm thick slab on top of chamber with 1% reinforcement in RCC cover slab with necessary opening for operation of valve all complete including cost of labour & materials as per Departmental Dwg. [Reinforcement type:- Other manufactuerers notspecified] i) 250 mm to 350 mm dia pipe 25 Brick soling with picked jhama bricks including preparation of bed as necessary, with brick joints properly filled in and packed with powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar material below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used) complete as per direction.
