Interconnection of Newly laid distribution main (350 mm each 2 Nos) with Rising Line of 200 mm dia (1 No) towards Samali Mouza and towards Raspunja Mouza (Zone-10) at Thakurpukur Maheshtala Block, with allied repairing works in Zone-2 under surface water based water supply scheme for arsenic affected areas of South 24 Pgns.- 1 Supplying and fabricating of different diameter M.S. pipe as per specification (IS:3589:2001) and direction of EIC. 2 355.6 mm dia (OD) of 7.1 mm thick 3 219.1 mm dia (OD) of 6.3 mm thick 4 Supply of M.S. Flange (slipper type) as per IS-6392 TABLE 17 Thickness 12mm 5 i) 350 mm dia 6 ii) 200 mm dia 7 Welding in M.S. structural work with gas or electric 8 (a) Tack weld 9 (b) Continuous weld 10 Cutting to requisite length or shape departmental R.S. joists, channels, angles, tees, plates etc. 11 Sand blasting to Mild Steel surface with coarse sand followed by immediate application of two coats of Zinc Rich Epoxy Primer of approved make and brand and subsequent painting two coats with Coal Tar Epoxy of approved make and brand including cost of materials, labours, machinery, fuel and power including carriage of the steel materials at site complete. [Brand of primer and paint shall be approved by the Engineer-in-charge.]Note :- This item is to be used for shutter of drainage sluices directly in contact with tidal saline water or industrial and toxic effluents. 12 Dewatering from the excavated trenches for repairing any type of pipe line including Hire Charge of pump / carriage / Fuel & lubricant / Operator etc. for big dia pipes more, than 200 mrn dia all complete as per direction of EIC. (This item will be executed after the permission of E.l.C.) 13 Making lighting arrangement for continuation work during night including all charges (Applicable exclusively for emergency situation and as per direction of EIC. 14 Carrying CI/DI / MS pipes with specials and valves and lowering placing in position and laying carefully inside the trenches in proper alignment and gradient etc. including earth work in excavation of adequate width as per specification having min. clear cover from top of pipe is 1.10mtr. below existing ground level in any kind of soil including mixed with boulder, road sub-grade and its flank,but excluding moorum and laterite and stone etc.without damaging the exisiting telephone/electric cable etc.(in case of damaged if any type of cable line during excecution , necessary damaged charges as applicable by the respective authority will be borne by the agency in his own cost) preparing the bottom surface for continuous bedding of pipe line and laying pipes, fitting, fixing specials and valves with bailing out water if any including carriage of pipes, specials and valves from local deptt. store within 8KM and back filling the trenches with excavated earth in layers to original condition as per specification and direction of EIC. The surplus materials after execution of work are to be return to the deptt. store. 15 N.B: i) Any deviation from required clear cover of 1.10mtr., due to site adverse condition, prior permission is to be obtained from the EIC in exceptional situation and payment will be made on prorate basis over the rate of entire itemii) No payment will be made without hydraulic test of the pipe line either part or fulliii) The pipes, specials and valves , rubber gasket will be supplied deptt. free of cost. 16 1) 350 mm dia. 17 2) 200 mm dia 18 Supply and delivery of CIDF sluice valve(special type) PW-1.00 of different dia. make with CI double flanged non rusting spindle sluice valves conforming to IS 14846-2000 with latest emended having body dome/bonnet and cover of C.I.Grr.-F.G 210 mtr. spindle of IS-6603 G.R-12/Gr.-13 non-magnetic, nuts seat rings are of Gunonetal as per IS:318 LTB_2 flanges and drilled to IS:1538 part IV & VI valves are suitable for max. working pressure of 10 kg/cm2(seat test) and body tested to 15kg/cm2.N.B: The above item should be procured from the reputed manufactures as per deptt. Approved vender list. 19 300 mm dia 20 250 mm dia 21 200 mm dia 22 Labour charges for repairing of UPVC pipe by using UPVC socket and solvent cement including earth work in excavation with dewatering and necessary tracing out the actual position of brusting / leakage, cutting the pipe to required length in the trenches and replacing the same with new pipe (as per required length) including fitting fixing after roughing the UPVC surface & supplying and applying solvent cement, back filling the trenches with excavated earth upto the same as per direction of EIC all complete (UPVC pipes and specials, solvent cement to be supplied by the Agency). Unserviceable broken withdrawn surplus materials are to be deposited to the Deptt. store 23 90 mm dia 24 200 mm dia 25 Cutting DI pipe (all class & type) to required length with cutting device etc. and grinding the cutting portion with file as per direction and satisfaction of EIC. 26 a) 150 to 200 mm 27 b) 250 to 350 mm 28 Chamfering the spigot end of all type/class of DI pipe for proper using ofpush joint by means of grinder set at site for proper joint etc. all completeas per direction of EIC. 29 200 mm dia 30 350 mm dia 31 Making flange joint to DI/CI pipes, specials and valves where necessary with supply of required rubber insertion and nut bolts, washers etc. of approved quality and type all complete as per specification and direction of EIC (Nut and bolts shall be of TATA/GKW rate) 32 200 mm dia 33 250 mm dia 34 300 mm dia 35 Making rubber gasket joint to CI/DI pipes maintaining proper alignment level etc. by mechanical arrangement with or without using mobile craneswhere necessary and with help of all other equipments tools and tackles etc. as required providing lubricants of approved quality and direction of EIC. [Reinforcement type:- Other manufactuerers not specified] 39 200 mm dia 40 i) 250 mm to350 mm dia pipe 41 Filling the pipe line with water, testing hydraulically as per I.S 3114-1965 (Article-6) in section of a length not exceeding 500mtr. for head of pressure as per specification including supplying installing and fixing all equipments such as diesel pump set, blank flange, pressure gauge, valve, pressure pump and all other tools and plants including drilling topping and plugging of necessary holes to pipes, blocking ends providing temporary thrust block and subsequent blocking of holes and other jointing materials and dismantling and removal of the same including disposal of water etc. all complete as per specification and direction of EIC. The rate is inclusive of cost of requisite water to be arranged by the contractor (Recovery rate of water @ Rs.10.00/m3 , if contractor used water from deptt. source)For CI/DI/MS pipe 42 200 mm dia 43 300 mm dia 44 350 mm dia 45 Cleaning thoroughly the inner surface of pipe line including specials and valves by flushing with water and subsequently disinfection of the same pipe line by flushing again with water containing bleaching powder resulting in residual chlorine not less than 15mg/ltrs. after 24hrs. of such filling including laboratory testing of water samples obtain from the disinfested pipe line and disposal of water from the pipe line after completion of the work.
