Tender For Special Repair To Internal Roads In Depot Area And Special Repair To Footpath From Guard Post No 05 To 08 At Bengdubi Mil Stn Under Ge Bengdubi.; 1 Preparation of surface by Scarifying or picking of existing WBM/gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surface area not exc 400 sqm and depth exc 50 mm but n exc 100mm including removal of debris etc from site to a distance n.exc 50 metres, complete all as specified and directed. 2 M&L for laying75mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) (lime stone, sand stone, flint or Quartzite), spread, rolled with power roller 8 to12 tonnes & consolidated to gradient/camber required etc, complete all as specified and directed. 3 All as per item No 2 above but except materials. 4 M&L for repairs to pot holes, any depth,not exc 1.0 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc,cutting around edges to atleast 25 mm in depth, making good byapplyingtack coat of cationic bitumen emulsion RS-1 confirming to IS 8887 @ 0.20-0.30 kg/sqm , putting in premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete minimum 25 mm consolidated thickness with 5% ofbinder content of paving bitumen VG - 30 grade by weight of total mix (premixed materialprepared inhot mixed plant), pre- mixed material laid with self propelled mechanical paver, finished inlcuding rolling and compacting the surfaces to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and tandom vibrating roller etc, complete all as specified and as directed.Notes : (a) Rate quoted shall also be deemed to include for making good of any undulation/damages in wearing surfaces, where semi dense asphaltic concrete to be laid. (b) Thebinder content for the semi dense ashphaltic bituminous concrete to be provided under the above item shall be worked out on proportionate basis of the design mix formula approved for the SDAC item here-in-after and binder content shall be provided accordingly, contractor shall quote his rates considering the bitumen contents as 5%.Any variation in binder content shall be adjusted at the rate of Rs 55.00 per Kilogram of binder. 5 M&L for preparation of unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt andapplying evenly a priming /tack coat with cationic bitumen emulsion SS-1 confirming to IS 8887 @ 0.70-1.00 kg/sqm on surface of WBM as specified in table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge work 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed. 6 M&L for preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt andapplying evenly a priming /tack coat with cationic bitumen emulsion RS-1 confirming to IS 8887 @ 0.20-0.30 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MORTH specification for road and bridge work 2013, using mechanical spraye, complete all as specified and directed. 7 M&L for premix bituminous macadam with 4% binder content (paving bitumen of grade VG-30) by weight of total mix prepared in hot mix plant, laying of mix with self propelled sensor based mechanical paver,duly rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 08 to 12 tonne power roller and vibrating roller (consolidatedthickness 75mm or less) etc, complete all as specified and directed.Notes:- The contractors quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following elements:(i)The contractor shall get the mix design done through Govt. approved Lab/ NABL approved Lab and the same shall be got approved from the GE before providing Bituminous Macadum.(ii)In case of variation in the bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted @ Rs 55 per Kg. 8 M&L for Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (paving bitumen of VG-30 grade)by weight of total mix prepared in hot mix plant, laying of mix with self propelled sensor based mechanical paver, the surfaces rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 08 to 12 tonne power roller andtandem vibrating roller etc complete all as specified and directed.Notes:- The contractors quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following elements:(i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through Govt. approved Lab/ NABL approved Lab and the same shall be got approved from the GE before providing SDAC.(ii)In case of variation in the bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in quantity of bitumen with 5.5% binder content (paving bitumen of VG-30 grade)by weight of total mix prepared in hot mix plant, laying of mix with self propelled sensor based mechanical paver, the surfaces rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 08 to 12 tonne power roller andtandem vibrating roller etc complete all as specified and directed.Notes:- The contractors quoted rates shall also be Sqm all as per manufacturers instructions,using special applicator machine etc, complete all as specified & directed. 11 S&F in repair cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions, etc. complete all as specified and directed. 12 S&F in repair solar cat eye aluminium alloy shell (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x125mm x25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono crystalline solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18000 mcd complete as per manufacturers instructions etc complete all as specified and directed. 13 S&F in repair metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia steel pipeof 600mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green,red and yellow reflector radium type of 25mm wide strips anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC (1:2:4)(150x150x300mm) type B-1 complete all as specified and directed. 14 Demolition of cement concrete(unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings nexc 15 cm thickness(below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed. 15 M&L for 75 mm thick plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone crushed aggregate) as in sub base of path/flooring complete all as specified and directed. 16 M&L for 75 mm thick PCC(1:3:6) type C-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) mixed with polyester triangular fibres as secondary reinforcement as per manufacturers instructions as in path/flooring etc finished even and smooth complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Polyester triangular fibres shall be measured and paid separately as supply only. 17 Finishing surface of concrete roads,pavements by brooming complete all as specified and directed. 18 Forming construction joints 30mm deep x10 mm wide filled with sealing compound Grade A complete all as specified and directed. 19 Supply only polyester triangular fibres 6/12 mm long with circum circle diameter of 30-35 microns,designed for melting point of 240-260 degree celsius and having specific gravity 1.34-1.40 as secondary reinforcement complete all as specified and directed. 20 M&L for plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in copings,plinth courses including weathering,slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating on edges complete all as specified and directed.
