Provision of two bore hole of 150mm dia in any type of soil upto max 15mtr or upto refusal (N=100) whichever meet first conducting standard penetration test as per IS 2131-1981(reaffirmed-2016) test shall be made at not more than 1.5 mtr interval or on change of strata whichever is less.(Approximate loc of pitsas per att site plan attached)

Conducting following lab test on bore collected soil samples. (i) Direct/Triaxial Shear Test (ii) Grain distribution curves & pattern in bore holes.(iii) Bulk density. (iv)Natural moisture content. (v)Dry density. (vi)Water table. (vii)Specific gravity. (ix)Atterberge limit. (x)Hydrometer analysis. (xi) Liquid & plastic limit. (xii) Swelling index.

Collection of lab test Data , Calculationof Gross and Net safe bearing capacity and preparation of report on minimum 80 GSM A4 size white paper duly spiral bound in quintuplet duly vetted by any IIT/NIT (vetting shall not be in the personal capacity of the Professor)for foundation( report shall recommendtype of foundation and size) at different depths starting from 1.00 m below NGL including size gross and net safe bearing Capacity. Following shall be ensured:-(i)Photographic record of geo- exploration as well as testing shall also part of the report.(ii)Recommendation as regards possibility of liquifacation of soil in case of saturated or partially saturated loose/uncompacted sandy soil.(iii)Swelling index and swelling pressure in respect of black cotton soil and its depth/layer. (if any(iv)Depth of Gr. water table (GWT) in peak monsoon (lowest) and peak summer (highest) after correlation or result with seasonal of water table in the station. (v)Recommendation for filling under floors.(vi) RL of the ground lever/foundation level with ref to a BM should invariably be mentioned in the soil investigation report.

Conduct of Plate Bearing Tests in accordance with IS 1888: 1982 (Refirmed 2002). Depth of Pit shall be 1.00 m below NGL ( Approximate Loc of Pits as per att site Plan)Special attention for shape and size of Plate shall be given as per para 4.4 of IS 1888 : 1982(Reaffirmed 2002). Completion of Test , Collection of data , Calculation of ultimate Bearing Capacity/Safe Bearing Pressure and Preparation of Report based on Para 6.1 and 6.2 of IS 1888 : 1982 (Reaffirmed 2002 ) on minimum 8 GSM A4 size white paper duly spiral bound in quintuplet duly vetted by any IIT/NIT/.Vetting shall not be in personal capacity of the Professor.

Conduct of laboratory CBR tests in accordance with ASTM D 1883, Standard Test Method for California Bearing Ratio (CBR) OF Laboratory-Compacted Soils. (Approximate Loc of Pits as per att site Plan) Completion of Laboratory test, Collection of data,Calculation of Modulus of subgrade reaction (k-value ) and other parameters of soil as per FAA Advisory Circular AC 150/5320-6f and preparation of report on minimum 80 GSM A4 size white paper duly spiral bound in quintuplet duly vetted by any IIT/NIT. Vetting shall not be in personal capacity of the Professor.

Conduct of field CBR tests in accordance with ASTM D 4429, Standard Test Method for CBR (Calfornia Bearing Ratio). (Approximate Loc of Pits as per att site Plan)Completion of field test, collection of data , collection of Modulus of subgrade reaction(k-value) and other parameters of soil as per FAA Advisory Circular AC 150/5320-6F and preparation of report on minimum 80 GSM A4 size white paper duly spiral bound in quintuplet duly vetted by any IIT/NIT. Vetting shall not be in personal capacity of the Professor.
