Ahilyanagar- 1 Clearing grass and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 metres outside the periphery of the area . 2 Cutting down trees including trunks and branches with girths above 60 cm to 90 cm and stacking the materials neatly with all lifts and lead of 1000 m. as directed and earth filling in the depression / pit if any. 3 ProvidingSoil Bag Support to the monument with contractor´ssoil in proper layers carefully as directed by Engineer in-charge including filling, tying and conveying the bags,removing the soil bags after work up to a distance of 50 meter beyond the monument area and cleaning the siteetc.complete. 4 Excavation for foundation in earth, soil of all types, sand, gravel and soft murum, including removingtheexcavatedmaterialuptoadistanceof50m.beyondthebuildingareaand stackingandspreadingasdirected,dewatering,preparingthebedforthefoundationand necessary back filling, ramming, watering including shoring and strutting etc. complete. (Lift upto 1.5 m.) By Manual Means 5 Excavation for foundation in earth, soils of all types, sand,gravel and soft murum, including removing the excavated material upto a distance of 50 metres beyond the building area and stackingandspreadingasdirected,dewatering,preparingthebedforthefoundationand necessary back filling, ramming, watering including shoring and strutting etc. complete. (Lift from 1.5m to 3.0m) By Manual Means 6 Providingsoling using80mm sizetrapmetalin15cm.layerincludingfilling voidswith Crushed sand/grit, ramming, watering etc. complete. 7 Providing and laying cast in situ 1:2:4 Lime Concrete of trap/ granite/ quartzite/ gneiss metal for foundation and bedding as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including bailing out water, centring, formwork, laying/pumping, compacting, roughening them if special finish is to be provided, finishing if required with fine aggregate, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller and then mixing with coursed aggregate in drum mixer as per specifications including bailing out water, watering etc. complete. 8 Providing Un-coursed Rubble Masonry of trap / granite stones in lime mortar 1:1½, in foundation and plinth as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones to be set in the work as received from the quarry, after merely knocking off weak corners and edges with the masons hammer, the stones shall be carefully laid so as to break joints, no joint shall exceed 12.5 mm. (½″) in thickness, every stone shall be set flush in mortar, the face stone shall be for greater size, and good beds, one through stone shall be inserted at least every 0.80 sq. mete (1 square yard), the joints shall be racked out carefully at least 25 mm. (1″) where pointing or plastering to be done, striking joints where no pointing or plastering is to be done, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, bailing out water, watering and all exposed masonry work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete. 9 Providing Coursed Rubble Masonry Second Sort of trap / granite stones in lime mortar 1:1½, size of stone 45 cm. x 30 cm. x 30 cm. in superstructureas per detailed specifications and drawings orasdirectedincludingthestonesshallbelaidinhorizontalcourse,thefaceofthestonestobe hammered and bushing not to be project more than 3.8 cm. (1½″), all stones to be set full in mortar, all side joints shall be vertical and beds horizontal and not joints shall be more than 12.5 mm. (½″), the through stones shall be inserted 5 and 6 feet apart in every course, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, scaffolding, watering and all masonry work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete. 10 Providing Ashlar Arching of trap / granite stones in lime mortar 1:1, with size of stone(0.45 x 0.35 x 0.30 m). as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the arch stones be of approved quality, colour, hard and free from defect of any kind, the arch stones in all cases of the entire thickness, the arch stones shall be dressed full and true to their proper shapes with the necessary summering, twist or winding and be set in fine mortar, the intrados, joints and beds to fair tooled and left full, the cast or keying course to be accurately fitted, at all horizontal joints theintrados to have a 2 cm. (¾″) chamfer, the face stone may be tooled or rock-faced with or withoutchamfer as directed, in arches up to 60 cm. (2ꞌ) in depth all stones shall be of the full thickness of the ring, arches to be built on proper centring, the bed joints shall be radial and the side joints shall be at right angles to the bed joints and the thickness of the joints shall not exceed 5 mm. (3/16″) preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, cantering/scaffolding, watering and all arch work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete. 11 Providing and laying cast in situ 1:1:4 Lime Concrete of broken brick metal for coping or waterproofing as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including centring, formwork, laying/pumping, compacting, roughening them if special finish is to be provided, finishing if required, with fine aggregate, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller and then mixing with coursed aggregate or surkhi in drum mixer, the concrete must be bitten for two days with pouring water as per specifications, scaffolding, watering and all concrete work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains, etc. complete. 12 Providing and fixing Stone Paving, Second Sort in lime mortar 1:1½, with size of stone (0.60 x 0.45 x 0.15 m)., as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including all stone slabs to of approved quality, hard, even, sound, durable and uniform thickness, the stones to be not finely chisel-dressed on the surface and the course to be of prescribed width, true for top 25 mm. (1″), the jointsrunning true,the stonestobelaidwith joints notexceeding 8mm.(5/16″)thickandto be evenly and firmly bedded flush in mortar on the concrete and no hollow left, side to be dressed true andaspershapeatleasthalfthedepthfromtheface,preparingthelimemortarinlimemiller, watering and all pavingwork when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete. 13 Providing Block In Course Stone Steps of trap / granite stones in lime mortar 1:1½ with size of stone (0.60 x 0.45 x 0.23 m). as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed the stones be of approved quality, colour, hard and free from defect of any kind, the stones shall be of exact size and shape, the shall be rough-tooled on exposed surface, holes for balusters should be cut in the steps before they are laid, each stone shall rest at least 3.8 cm. (1½″) on that below it, the beds or joints being in no case more than 3 mm. (⅛″), preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, watering and all steps work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete. 14 Providing and grouting with lime and fine screened sand slurry in proporation of (1 : 1) with a proper jet pump pressure including cleaning and washing and packing the existing crack / holes in the brick or stone masnory with lime and finesand paste in proporation of (1:1) properly from down side, filling the slurry in cracks or holes including all necessary 15 Disposing off / conveying the dismantelled materials of stone masonry/ brick masonry/ concrete/ debris/ excavated material / soil murrum / rubbish material or vegetation / grass / shrubs etc. from site to 9 Kmas directed by Engineer incharge 16 Preparing and carrying out videography, Documentary & Shooting of still photographs of Extra copies - 5 X 7 Sizeoutdoor and indoor of roads, bridges, other structures and programme, including preliminarys survey, still shots moving shooting, necessary board for video shooting hiring of vehicle, equipment for video shoot­ing, transportation of all equipment, persons, required for shooting, lighting arrangement as may be necessary, editing, mixing, titling, lettering, sounding including cost of coloured cassette of approved quality etc. complete 17 Book Designing, Publishing and Printing: The work involves printing of a book / guidebook on the fort / monuments and its various aspects, which would provide authentic and precise tourism oriented information. This work involves important photographsof the site, art objects, antiquities, inscriptions etc., which would be useful for educating the masses of the rich cultural heritage of the site, region and state. providing 100 pages coloured books as directed by engineer in charge / ADA 18 Carrying out Structural Audit of of the Structure with help of Non Distructive Testing (NDT) equipments etc. complete 19 Carrying out Chemical Analysis of Existing material used in the construction of Monument etc. complete
