| 2 | Design, supply and delivery, receiving, unloading, handling, assembling, installing in correct assigned position, effecting proper finishing and commissioning of M.S. structural works with hollow sections of minimum 90 mm (square shape) conforming IS-4923 (Yield stress of minimum of 240 MPa and minimum thickness of 4.0 mm) connected to 20mm Thick Baseplate, one& another with bracket ,gusset, cleat as per design, drawing & as per direction of Engineer - in -charge complete including cutting to requisite shape & size, fabrication including metal arc welding conforming to IS 814-2004, haulage, hoisting and erection all complete. This worksinclude powder-coated painting (as per approved RAL colour code e.g.) on all hoistway components smoothly finished, suitable for installation of the above lift in the space between the staircases with cladding work of elevator shafts in self-supporting structure. The rates are considered for a height of erection 8 m. / 2nd floor level from the ground.All the joints between the claddings are sealed after installation, comprising angle-section press-bent uprights and press-bent connection cross-beams (on the door side), designed to be fitted with all machineries, drive etc.Note: Structural design of the lift shft and detailed fabrication drawings must have to be vetted either from the Jadavpur University /IIEST/ any NIT / any IIT .Certificate duly certified by a licensed Structural consultant preferably from the reputed engineering institution as stated must be submitted to the IWD before execution of the work. Quoted rate must be inclusive of requisite fees, any incidental cost for this vetting process and no extra cost shall be paid by the institute. |
| 3 | Supplying and fixing of sub-frame profiles of required section made of Aluminum Alloy Extrusion anodized with required thickness and specified colour fabrications including cutting to proper shape and size, drilling including cost of silicon sealant for fixing of grove line between the Glasses, brackets, fastener bolt, nuts & washers, masking tape, double side adhesive crosslink foam (used for guard of glazed silicon on sub-frame), screws and other necessary hardware, including supply and fixing of panoramic toughened structural glass cladding of minimum 8 MM thickness of approved make and brand as per approved drawing, specification , makes and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.. |
| 4 | Floor Cutting and ancillary civil works for the above installation process for the lift shaft and lift pit (with waterproofing) complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer -in charge. |
| 5 | Comprehensive maintenance during AMC for 5(FIVE) years (after one year of defect liability period) inclusive of periodic servicing, prompt attention to complaint, prompt rectification of all malfunctions and equipment failures, replacement of defective equipment / parts, replacement of light fittings, lubrication including lubricants, maintaining correct alignment and levelling of cars and ensuring smooth running, starts and stops etc. all complete to institute\"s satisfaction shall be done. For every delay in attending for a fault after allowing for 24 hours from the time a complaint has been lodged, will attract penalty at the rate of Rs. 1000/- per 24 hour |
