Material & Labour for repair to pot holes any depth not exceeding 1.0 Sqm each including sweepingfree from dust and mud, or water scoring sunken surfaces in road path etc cutting around edges, at least 25mm in depth and making goodby applying tack coat using paving bitumen @ 5Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with binder using paving bitumen at the rate of 9.8 Kg Per 10Sqm binded with 0.09 cum stone chipping 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply ofpremixed macadam binder and chippings) depth of pot hole exceeding 30mm complete all as specified andas directed by Engr-in-charge.Note :- (i) Pot holes shall be marked by Engineer-in-charge before commencement of work and same shall be entered in MB after making good and before laying of bituminous premix carpet.(ii) GE will inform Accepting Officer for convening a Board of Officers at least seven days prior to execution of this item.

Material and labour for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with compressor to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Material and labour for applying evenly a priming/tack coat of bitumen (VG-10) on existing bituminious surfaces at the rate 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directedby Engineer in Charge.

Material and labour for Premix bituminous macadam laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using Paving bitumen (VG-30), binder content @ 4.0% by weight of total mix (Preparation of surface and priming / tack coat shall be measured & paid separately) and compacted with 8 to 12 ton power roller and compacted required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.Note : (i) GE will inform Accepting Officer for convening a Board of Officers at least seven days prior to execution of this item.(ii) Hot Mix plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing of agregates and binder and shall be laid in single layer with mechanical sensor paver all as specified and directed.(iii) The design mix shall be carried out from Zonal laboratory/ Govt Engineering Colleges/ CTL or any E-in-C/ MES approved lab as approved by GEbefore incorporation in work and testing charges shall also born by the contractor.

Material and labour for layingBituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm thick consolidated thickness with paving bitumen (VG-30), binder content @ 5.5% by weight of total mix, including supply and mixing of filler (OPC Cement) as per design mix spread using mechanical senser paver rolled and compacted with 8 to 12 ton power roller and compacted required camber and gradient shall be made on plus side complete all as specified and directed Notes : (i) Hot mix plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing of aggregates and binder (bitumen) for bituminous carpet. Premixed carpet shall be laid in single layer with mechanical sensor paver all as specified and directed.(ii) The consolidated thickness indicated above shall be the minimum thickness and in case additional materials are required to make good the depressions etc to achieve the required camber & slope etc, the same shall be provided by the contractor and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of the above item.(iii) The design mix shall be carried out from Zonal laboratory/ Govt Engineering Colleges/ CTL or any E-in-C/ MES approved lab as approved by GEbefore incorporation in work and testing charges shall also born by the contractor.

Material and labour for preparing bituminous surface of road and marking 1.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrow, letters etc. and the like not exc. 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction with glass beads @ 250 gm per sqm complete all as specified and directed.
