Spl Repairs To Bldg No P32 Of Med Regt Under Ge N Akhnoor; 1 Taking down old unsv roof treatment including PCC padding if any, plastering, removing existing bitumen felt treatment including brushing, cleaning top surface of roof slab, brooming etc complete all as specified and directed. 2 Rendering 10mm thick cement plaster with cement mortar (1:4) on fair finishes of brick work or concretesurface of roof slab all as specified. 3 Water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab including parapet as under :- (a) Ist Course: Apply a coat of bituminous primer conforming to IS-3384@ 0.40 Kg /Sqm on prepared surface of plaster and after drying of primer, apply a coat of hot blown 85/25 grade bitumen conforming to IS-702 @ 1.2 Kg/sqm on plastered surfaces. (b) 2nd Course :APP (Atactic Polypropylene) modified polymeric membrane, 5 layered,3 mm thick weight not less than 3.0 Kg/Sqm with 160 Grams/Sqm non woven polyester made at centre core reinforced laid with 75 mm side overlap and 150 mm end overlap, membrane has to be laid with LPG torch and overlap sealed and finished neat, all joints.(c) 3rd Course : Apply a coat of hot blown 85/25 grade bitumen conforming to IS-702 @ 1.2 Kg/sqm over membrane and dusted with dry sand @ 0.50 to 1 Kg/sqm. (i) On Non-accesible roof : After providing (a) to (c) provide aluminium paint as per manufacturer instructions.(ii) Coved fillet in PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) of required radius 75mm shall be provided at the junction of roof and vertical surface such as parapet wall/mumty around opening and treatment mentioned above shall be applied followed by a cement plaster 20mm thick in cement mortar(1:6).Note :(i) Roof treatment work shall be carried out through approved manufacturers only or through their authorised personal only. 4 Sunken Floor treatment :-Providing and laying of water proofing treatment to sunken portion including vertical portion by applying cement slurry mixed with acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound of make as specified and approved including demolition and filling of sunken floor with & including PCC 1:5:10 type E-2 (using 40mm brick aggregate).(a) First layer of slurry of cement @0.488 Kg/Sqm mixed with acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.253 Kg/Sqm. This layer allowed to air cure for 4 Hours.(b) Second layer of slurry of cement @0.242 kg/Sqm mixed with acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.125 Kg/Sqm. This layer allowed to air cure for 4 Hours.(c) 15mm thick plaster in CM 1:3 mixed with WP compound to be provided while concrete is still green.(d) Joint of/Trap/WC/Soil pipes shall be properly sealed with sealing compound.Note:(a) Concrete for sunken slabs shall be mixed with WP compounds as per manufacturers instructions. Before carrying out water proofing treatment the sunken slab shall be tested with water for 48 hours for any leakage /dampness is seen in ceiling below, then treatment is again carried out to RCC slab and it is again tested before passing for next stage. (The rate quoted includes water proofing compound as per manufacturers instructions).(b) Please note that only floor area shall be measured for payment purpose. 5 Dismantling of AC/CGI/Galvalume sheets corrugated or semi-corrugated in roof covering including ridges, hips, valleys and flashings etc complete all as specified and as directed. 6 Dismantling structural steel work including doors, including cover fillets, complete all as specified and directed. 11 4mm thickPre-laminated designer false ceiling board over GI snap grid frame work (Grid size 600x600mm) with powder coated GI angle of size 25x25x3mm, main runner Tof size 25x40x3mm , secondary runner T of size 25x30x3mm suspended with 3mm GI wire @ 1200mm c/ccomplete all as specified and directed. 12 Demolition of brickwork or stone boulder masonarybuilt in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc complete all as specified and as directed. 13 Brickwork with sub class ‘B’ (old size) bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius built in cementsand mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed. 14 Brick work with sub class B brick straight or curved on plan to any radius in half brick thick built in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed. 15 Taking down cement plaster from brick or stone walls incl racking out joints hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc all
