Replacement Of Old Mechanical Bar Screen With Allied Ms Work At 18 Mgd Dilshad Garden Sps.- 1 Removal of M.S. Jal and cutting of pipe railing, from the wet sump with the help of gas cutter, welding machine and manual labour and keeping it safe for re-fixing after completion of work. 2 Dismantling/Removal of existing MS bar screen, MS channels, i/c hoist from the channel by cutting old damage MS support and all rusted nut bolts by cutter, welding machine, tools & tackles and man power with the help of chain block and required logistic arrangement. 3 Desilting of channel with the help of suction machine and manual labour and making necessary arrangement with gunny bags as per site requirement keeping it safe. Removal of all silt from bottom of the screen chamber with all safety arrangements by making of temporary platforms by long bamboo with cross bamboo, balli with rassa tools & tackles etc. to execute the work inside the bar screen chamber. 4 Pumping out water caused by springs, tidal or river seepage, broken water mains or drains and the like. DSR Civil 2021 Code No. 14.23(Payment will be made as per actual) 5 Isolating the screening chamber by using sand bags as per site requirement for removing of floating material from the wet sump and operation of sluice gate as per site requirement before start of work at site and after completion of work using own tools and tackles, jig fixtures in each shift with using all safety equipments 6 Making of temporary platforms at both bar screens to execute the work inside the approx. 40 feet deep sump wells of the SPS. including providing of the required material i.e. Bambo 40 ft & 6 ft, rassa and Wooden Blank 6 ft etc as required for the work. The job also includes dismantling of the platform after execution of work. 7 Fabrication and fixing of MS C channel in vertical possession of size 150mm x 75mm - 147kg on wall in the sewage channel for up and down of bar screen. Welding of MS plate with channel of size (350x75) duly drilled holes of 16mm at every corner of plate and fixing with anchor bolts. 8 Fabrication and fixing of MS platform for collecting the floating material removed from the sewage channel by bar screen. The size of platform is (2mtr x 1 mtr), supporting angle (100x100x8mm - 52kg) and (75mmx75mmx8mm - 35kg), MS chequered plate (2mtr x1mtr) and 6mm thickness. Fixing on bar screen with the help of man power and tools & tackles. 9 Providing and fixing of MS sheet at top level of water flow so that the water could not pass by upper of bar screen. The size of sheet will be (1550mm x 6mm - 91kg) duly welded with supporting of MS angle of size (75mm x75mm x6 mm - 61kg) fabricated as per site requirement. 10 Providing and fixing of MS I-Section beam of ISMB 250mm x125mm - 168kg in vertical possession with plate (250mm X 250mm X 10 mm -5kg) at ground with RCC civil foundation of and tightening by MS stud grouted in RCC foundation. The work includes providing and welding of MS. Plate with drill holes. 11 Providing and fixing of horizontal Beam ISMB (250 mm x 125 mm = 373kg) for fixing of E.O.T. Crane of 2 ton capacity with duly welded and fixed by MS plate of size (250mm x250mmx10mm) on Both end of vertical beam. 12 Fabrication and fixing of tin shed for safety purpose of complete system from the rain fabricated by sheet of 3mm thickness, angle of size (50mmx50mmx6mm), flat iron of size (75mmx6mm), nut bolts and washer as per site requirement. Size of shed (3 mtr x 2.4 mtr) 13 Fabrication and fixing of bar screen (jali- L type) of size 1.75 mtr long X 1.55 mtr width by fabricated of outer frame by MS Angle of size (75mmx75mmx6mm) and inner portion fabricated by MS bar iron of size (16mm = 199kg) duly welded one by one with sufficient gap in each bar and fixing in sewage channel by making of clamping system on upper side of bar screen for fixing with chain as per site requirement. 14 Arrangement of all safety equipment for the protection of staff to work at height and to make the working area free from all toxic gases and free from accident during working at site as per NHRC guidelines. 15 Fixing of existing electric hoist with the help of labour and required logistic arrangements and making all required connections by using all tools & tackels. 16 Strengthening/finishing of all minor damages and painting of all newly making MS structure by two coat of epoxy paint of required shade & colour. 17 Testing & commissioning of complete system.
