    Tender For Repair Of Yokohama Fender => Limited; H-602: Following defect observed on Yokohama fender placed alongside CG Jetty to protect the ship side from any type of damage due to FWT/ surging and during berthing/ unberthing of the ship. To be repaired/ renewed as per sample. Type- Pneumatic fender, Size- 2.5m dia x 5.5 m length.(a) Chain links and tyres at various places wear down and deteriorated. Tyre Qty- 60 nos, SUV tyres and chain length- 70 feet approx.(b) Air leakage observed. To be filled with pressurized air and proved for satisfactory operation post arresting/ repair for air leakage.(c) D-shackles connected to the chain links for securing of tyres deteriorated at various places and found defective. Defective D-shackles to be renewed as per sample.(d) Protective rubber pipes over chain links observed deteriorated/ torn at various places. To be renewed as per sample.(e) Painting of full Yokohama fender to be carried out with black paint.All inway job included.Job involves hydraulic crane service for shifting of Yokohama fender from sea to jetty and vice versa to be provided. Hawsers for securing the fender to bollards to be arranged.
