    Bids Are Invited For Repair and Overhauling Service - DEFECT RECTIFICATION OF PORT AND STBD MAIN ENGINE EXHAUST BLOWERS BASE FOUNDATION/LOWER HOUSING FOUND DETERIORATED BEYOND REPAIRS ONBOARD ICGS C-409; DEFECT RECTIFICATION OF PORT AND STBD MAIN ENGINE EXHAUST BLOWERS B.. During inspection Port and Stbd main engine exhaust blowers base foundation/lower housing found deteriorated beyond repairs. Lower housing (MatGI) and its foundation (Mat-AL) needs to be renewed. Following in way jobs included :- (i) Cutting of side plate for removal of both upper & lower blower housing. (ii) Removal of top housing to access removal of lower housing. (iii) Renewal of lagging area 18 Sq. Mtr each (Total-36 Sq mtr) (iv) Renewal of lower housing (Mat-GI, approx. OD-920, ID-900mm, Height 600mm, Qty. 02 nos.) and foundation flanges & pipe (Mat-AI, OD-950mm, ID910mm, Pipe ID-910mm, OD- 900mm, Height-200mm), Flange repair of upper housing on both sides. (v) Condition assessment of both side deck plate post removal of lower housing to be carried out for deck plate renewal. (Addl. Job after condition assessment) (vi) Repair/renewal of both side fire dampers. (vii) Re-welding of side plate and hose/DP test post completion of welding. Total Quantity :
