| 1 | M & L for drilling of borewell suitable for 200mm dia housing pipe of thickness 6.35mm (minimum) upto the depth of 120 mtr. The drilling of bore shall be done by ODEX type method as per manufacturer recommendationor as directed by Engr-in-Chargeincluding disposal of surplus soil from the site n.exc 1 Km and site clearence complete all as specified and directed.Note :-(i)The cost of mobilisation of tools, plant assembly, use and waste ofall necessary appliances and materials including levelling dismantling after completion of tube well assembly and testing to entire satisfaction of Engr in Charge shall deem to be included in the above quoted rate by the tenderer. No extra claim what so never shall be entertained.(ii) In case the results of the borewell/strata are found un-satisfactorily & the tube well is not likely to yield the specified quantity of water, the site will be abondoned & the contractor shall be paid for boring only. removing of casing pipe, bail plug, V- guage wire etc to be done by contractor. No extra claim will be admissible on this account.(iii) Contractor will do the resistivity test of soil strata upto 150m and boring as per recommendation of resistivity test. Cost of resistivity test will be deemed to be included in the quoted rates. |
| 2 | Supplying assembling ,jointing and lowering 6.35mm (minimum) wall thickness & 200 mm dia internal diameter ERW MS casing pipe conforming to IS-4270-2001 or IS 3589 (Steel tubes used for water wells) and fixing in position (including necessary cleaning internal and external surfaces and painting inside and outside pipes with two coats of anticorrosive black bituminous paintsuitable for drinking purpose over a coat of Zinc oxide primer) in different depth as directed. screwed, socketed, plain ended, jointed with heavy duty suitable size collar (stiffners) and necessary electric arc welding surrounding the pipe with 04 Nos stiffners of flat iron 40mm x 6mm thick, 300mm long both sides complete all as specified and directed. Note : Pipe shall be length of 06 Mtr unless required in smaller length as per borewell requirement |
| 3 | Supplying assembling ,jointing and lowering 6.35mm (minimum) wall thickness & 200 mm dia internal diameter made out of stainless steel (see designation X04 Cr 18 Ni10 of IS-6528) screen or slotted corrosion-resistant material pipes of minimum 8.0mm thickness for casing in the groundwater section to allow water to enter the well \"V\"wire cage type stainer pipe confirming to IS-8110-2000 of suitable slot distance/length and fixing in position (includingnecessary cleaning internal and external surfaces and painting inside and outside pipes with two coats of anticorrosive black bituminous paintsuitable for drinking purpose over a coat of Zinc oxide primer) in different depth as directed. and welded with MS pipe and jointed with heavy duty suitable size collar (stiffners) and necessary butt welding surrounding the pipe complete all as specified and directed. Note: Pipes shall be length of 06 Mtr unless required in smaller length as per borewell requirement |
| 4 | Supply and fixing well cap in two parts out of MS plate 6mm thick for covering tubewell internal dia 200 mm depth duly welded with locking arrangement , including makingholes for passing submersible cable and one run of support chain complete all as specified and directed. |

Note: All requisite T&P including Compressor with accessories, vehicle and fuel shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. |
| 6 | M&L for development of tubewell as per IS :11189-1985 by over pumping 25% using suitable size /type pump after completion of sl item No 7 including yield testing of tube well as per IS:2800-2 1979. complete all as specified and directedNote: (i) Yield test of borewell shall be carried out in the presence of representative of Accepting Officer.(ii) \"V\"Notch & other equipments included diesel driven pump set including fuel shall arranged by the contractor at the own cost. |
| 7 | Supply only strata sample box with glass cover 3mm thick having internal dimension 1000mm x 600mm x 100mm made out of 20mm thick wrought Ist glass hard woodwith hinges, hasp and stable includingpolishing complete with samples at various depth every 2 mtr interval met in boring including lithological log strata chart in duplicate all as specified and directed.Note: The contractor should also make and provide a record of discharge , draw down and depth to water level duly recorded in duplicate for official information and record.(ii) Aquifer material be classified as fine gravel above 2.0mm, coarse sand between 0.5 to 2.00, medium sand between 0.25 to 0.5mm, fine sand between 0.05 to 0.25mm, siltbetween 0.002 to 0.006mm and clay below 0.000mm. |

| 9 | Testing of Raw water for all parameters , chemical and bacteriologicalaspect such as PH value, dissolved solids, hardness CaCo3, calcium,magnesium, chlorides, sulphates, nitrates,alkalinity, iron, turbidity, NTU, mineral oil, colour hazen units, taste, odour, total coliform per 100ml(microbiological test) & E coil per 100 ml (microbiological test) Arsenic & floride test (As per IS 10500-2012) as per norms of WHO from Regional Research Lab Johrat/ Defence Research lab Tezpur or any Govt approved / recognised laboratory as approved by GE complete all as specified and directed. |
