Tender For Repair/Maintenance Of Joint Filling, Pqc Repair And Painting At Af Stn Bihta; 1 M&L for preparing of existing construction/dummy joints including removing filled material in joints of runway / taxi track by removing the cracking out joints 10 to 15 mm wide and 25 mm deep including removing all loose material, cleaning the joints with brush and removing all loose fine particles with compressed air, and providing a suitable dia polyurethane back up rod/debonding strip and top 13mm primed and sealed with using polyurethane based sealing compound with suitable primer as per BS-4254 and EN 141875-2003 (for hydrolysis / water resistance test) priming the sides with minimum MAF± 30 %, with ten years performance guarantee and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealent and removing the masking tape after sealent is applied complete all as specified and directed.Note: Old unserviceable material so obtain from remval of exisiting filled mm deep including removing all loose material, cleaning the joints with brush and removing all loose fine particles with compressed air, and providing a suitable dia polyurethane back up rod/debonding strip and top 13mm primed and sealed with using polyurethane based sealing compound with suitable primer as per BS-4254 and EN 141875-2003 (for hydrolysis / water resistance test) priming the sides with minimum MAF± 30 %, with ten years performance guarantee and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealent and removing the masking tape after sealent is broken/damage portion of concrete slab or pavement by cutting damaged portion of slab/spoiled edges to triangular/rectangular cross section with mechanical cutter and removing all loose and foreign materials and deposing the same to a distance exceeding 150m and not exceeding 250m and cleaning the surface by compressed air to remove all dust dirt etc and washing with hydrochloric acid and filling epoxy resin mortar after application of epoxy primer as per manufacture instructions with bull nosing the edges completeall as specified and directed. 5 Cutting of exisiting runway/taxi track cracks and spalled edges by mechanical tools, making grooves at edges, cleaning through air blower and applying propriety primer on the cleaned surfaces to obtain tacked surface and finally filling elastomeric concrete of make as specifed by mixing part A, Part B and adding fiberglass sand (all as per manufacturers instruction) to obtsin a homogenous mix and finally tooling the surface with har tools obtain grroved textured finish complete all as specified and directed.Note: (i) The rate shall include for providing masking tape at the joints and fdormwork required if any at spalled edges.(ii) The quoted rate deemed to include for maiking good the disturbed joint filling around the area where material is applied.(iii) All material shall only be procured directly from the manufacturer. 6 M&L for applying one coat of aqua based runway / road marking paint golden yellow or white colour as approved to give uniform finish including preparation of old painted surfaces of runway/ taxi track / dispersal for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters and the like exceeding 10cm wide or girth complete all as specified and directed. 7 M&L for applying one coat of aqua based runway / road marking paint golden yellow or white colour as approved to give uniform finish including preparation of old painted surfaces of runway/ taxi track / dispersal for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters and the like not exceeding 10cm wide or girth complete all as specified and directed.Note for item No 6 & 7: Masking tape shall be used on edges of paint before painting and removing the same after paint is applied wherever required and as directed.
