Inspection and Preparation: - Inspect the threading mechanism, leadscrew, and half-nuts for wear, damage, or misalignment. - Clean and lubricate the threading mechanism, leadscrew, and half-nuts as needed. Ensure the lathe machine is properly leveled and aligned. 2. Leadscrew and Half-Nut Alignment: - Measure and record the leadscrews runout and backlash. - Adjust the half-nuts to achieve proper engagement with the leadscrew, ensuring smooth, consistent movement. - Verify the leadscrews alignment with the lathes spindle centerline. 3. Threading Dial Calibration : - Inspect and calibrate the threading dial to ensure accurate thread pitches. Verify the threading dials engagement and disengagement points. Total Quantity :
