Desilting of 300 mm dia Master sewer lines has been prepared with taking Appx discharge of 300 mm i/d pipe with running full capacity at a velocity of 0.75 Mtr/Sec (As per sewerage design statement) = 5.70 Cusecs. (By converting the discharge in MLD = 13.94 MLD) Assuming 75 to 80% sewer line is silted and 25 to 20% sewage water is running = 3.48 MLD (2417 LPM) which needs to be diversion during the desiling of master sewer line. Required HP of pump = 2417 /60 = 40.28 LPS = 40.28 x 10 / 75 = 5.37 HP = 5.37 /0.65 = 8.26 HP Say 10 HP, So 10 HP sewage submersible pump along with 10 Mtr. head is required at site Desilting and diversion of 300 mm dia with roka etc. complete in all respect
