Bids Are Invited For Repair And Overhauling Service - 12000 Hrly Routine On Port And Stbd Das Make Cummins Model 6 Cta 8 D M On Board Icgs Meera Behn As Per Maintenance Schedule And Pac Firm Recommendation All In Way Job Include As Per Scope Of Work; 12000 Hrly Routine .. 12000 hrly routine on Port and Stbd DA ( Make: Cummins, Model: 6 CTA 8.3 D(M) is likely due in July 2025 and same to be carried out as per maintenance schedule/ PAC firm recommendation. Port and Stbd DA have been clocked 36624 and 35540 running hrs respectively. Since installation. Running hours remaining for third 12000 hrly routine on Port and Stbd DA are 376 and 460 hrs respectively. Following jobs included in 12000 hrly routine on both DA’s as per maintenance schedule: - (a) Start DG, operation for few minutes & record all parameters. Stop and then drain lub oil when warm. (b) Drain water sediments from fuel water separators and fuel RU tank. (c) Check engine-mounted safeties for functionality and calibrate gauges. Replace if required. (d) Check fuel tubings. Replace ferules and rubber gaskets. (e) Replace thermostat along with seal. (f) Overhaul fresh water pump. (g) Check condition of engine mounts, renew if required. (h) Engine major overhauling (engine to be removed from base rail). (j) Dismantle engine, de-scale cooling system. (k) Clean and check all dismantled components. (l) Check crankshaft dimensions and regrind if required. (m) Check condition of connecting rod and main bearing with crankshaft size. Replace if required. (n) Replace sleeves/liners on cylinder block if required. (p) Check and condition or replace starting motor and battery charging alternator. (q) Dismantle cylinder heads and recondition all valves, guides, springs, and related parts (r) Change fuel and lube oil filter. Clean fuel strainer. (s) Replace air filter. (t) Overhaul vibration damper. (u) Overhaul sea water pump. (v) Check engine blow-by. Take corrective action if required. (w) Replace all rubber hoses/clamps of fuel, coolant, lube oil, and air systems. (x) Drain coolant and flush cooling system and refill new coolant. (y) Overhaul turbocharger. (z) Calibrate fuel injection pump and injectors. (aa) Clean heat exchanger and pressure test. (ab) Replace all engine-related wiring harnesses. (ac) Mount engine on the base rail and couple to alternator after checking coupling alignment. (ad) Change lube oil. (ae) Vent fuel line and injector supply line. (af) Start engine and carry out load trials. Record all parameters. Following additional jobs include during routine on both DA’s:- (a) Removal and re-fitting of DAs during routine, including crane facility. (b) Transportation/cradle facility from ship to M/s Sudhir Sales (PAC firm) and back for both PDA and SDA. All in-way jobs included Total Quantity :
