Sh: Providing Cement Concrete Road.; 1 Dismantling of flexible pavement (bituminous courses) by mechanical means and disposal of dismantled material up to a lead up to 50 m, as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. 2 Dismantling manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge : any kind of road,for all thickness 3 Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. 4 Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix) 5 Nominal concrete 1:4:8 or leaner mix (i/c equivalent design mix) 6 Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge. All kinds of soil 7 Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m. 8 Preparation and consolidation of sub grade with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity , dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller including making good the undulations etc. and re-rolling the sub gradeas per Engg in charge 9 Providing laying and fixing following GIpipes (medium class) 100mm dia (medium class) in ground complete GI fitting:100 mm dia 10 Construction of dry lean cement concrete sub base over a prepared sub-grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS:383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, aggregate cement ratio not to exceed 15:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per specifications, cement content not to be less than 150 Kg/cum, optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, concrete strength not to be less than 10 Mpa at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant, transported to site, for all leads & lifts, laid with a mechanical paver, compacting with 8-10 tonne vibratory roller, finishing and curing etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. 11 Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level 1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 fine sand : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) 12 Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level :1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources) 13 Providing and laying separation membrane of impermeable PVC sheet 125 micron thick over and above lean concrete for cement concrete road 14 Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete up to plinth level. 15 Mild steel and Medium Tensile steel bars 16 Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars 17 Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for : Foundations ,Footings , bases of columns etc for mass concrete 18 Providing and laying design mix cement concrete of M-40 grade, in roads/ taxi tracks/ runways, using cement content as per design mix, using coarse sand and graded stone aggregate of 40 mm nominal size in appropriate proportions as per approved & specified design criteria, providing dowel bars with sleeve/ tie bars wherever required, laying at site, spreading and compacting mechanically by using needle and surface vibrators, levelling to required slope/ camber, finishing with required texture, including steel form work with sturdy M.S. channel sections, curing, making provision for contraction/ expansion, construction & longitudinal joints (10 mm wide x 50 mm deep) by groove cutting machine, providing and filling joints with approved joint filler and sealants, complete all as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (Item of joint fillers, sealants, dowel bars with sleeve/ tie bars to be paid separately). Cement content considered in M-40 is @ 390 kg/cum.Excess/less cement content used as per design mix is payable/recoverable separately.Cement concrete manufactured in automatic batching plant (RMC Plant) i/c transportation to site in transit mixture.Note : Extra cement up to 10% of the minimum specified cement content in the design shall be payable separately. In case cementcontent in design mix is more than 110% of the specified minimum cement content,the contractor has discretion to either redesign the mix or bear the cost of extra cement 19 Providing and fixing pre-moulded joint filler in expansion joints of RCC roads / CC pavements after making the joints dust free with high pressure air jet cleaners, all complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Pre-moulded joint fillers shall be made of bitumen hot sealing compound impregnated fibre board having impregnation more than 35%, conforming to IS:1838 for fibre board and IS: 1834 for hot sealing bitumen compound grade A.) 20 Providing and laying in position rubberised bitumen hot sealing compound for expansion joints in joints in roads/pavement all complete as per direction of engineer in charge. Using grade ‘A’ sealing compound. per cm depth 21 Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made cement concrete paver block of approved shape and colour of M -30 grade made of C&D waste by block making machine with vibratory compaction laid in required pattern and including over 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with fine sand etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. 22 Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared. 23 Felling trees of the girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level), including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material. Beyond 30 cm girth up to and including 60 cm girth 24 Dismantling of pole/ street light standard/ strut embedded in cement concrete foundation etc. as required. 25 Providing and fixing Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply including all CPVC plain & brass threaded fittings This includes jointing of pipes & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement, trenching, refilling & testing of joints complete as per direction of Engineer in Charge. 50 mm nominal dia Pipes 26 Providing and fixing Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply, including all CPVC plain & brass threaded fittings, including fixing the pipe with clamps at 1.00 m spacing.
