| 11 | Providing and laying M-30 grade design mix cement concrete prepared with batch mixing machine in roads/pathways etc., using cement content as per design mix, using coarse sand and graded stone aggregate of 40 mm nominal size in appropriate proportions as per approved & specified design criteria, providing dowel bars with sleeve/ tie bars wherever required, laying at site, spreading and compacting mechanically by using needle and surface vibrators, levelling to required slope/ camber, finishing with required texture, including steel form work with sturdy M.S. channel sections, curing, making provision for contraction/ expansion, construction & longitudinal joints (10 mm wide x 50 mm deep) by groove cutting machine, providing and filling joints with approved joint filler and sealants, complete all as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.Note for Item No. 9:-1.) Minimum Cement content for M-30 grade concrete shall be @ 320 kg/cum.Less cement consumption then the above is recoverable @ Rs 450/- per Bag. Excess cement if any as per approved design mix shall be used. However excess cement is not payable separately. Unit rate shall be quoted accordingly.2.) Item of joint fillers, sealants to be paid separately under relevant items.3). Item of dowel bars with sleeve/ tie bars are provided by the department at free of cost, however contractor has to make all necessary arrangements for fetching the material to the work site including loading, unloading & transportation and nothing extra will be paid on this account. |

(Pre-moulded joint fillers shall be made of bitumen hot sealing compound impregnated fibre board having impregnation more than 35%, conforming to IS:1838 for fibre board and IS: 1834 for hot sealing bitumen compound grade A.) |
