Cleaning of reinforcement from rust from the reinforcing bars to give it a total rust free steel surface by using alkaline chemical rust remover of approved make with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush and thoroughly washing with water and allowing it to dry, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.(Approved Brand : Dr. fixit, FOSROC)

Providing, mixing and applying bonding coat of approved adhesive on chipped portion of RCC as per specifications and direction of Engineer-In-charge complete in all respect.SBR Polymer (@10% of cement weight) modified cementitious bond coat @ 2.2 kg cement per sqm of surface area mixed with specified proportion of approved polymer. Providing and laying a rendering screed of avg 50 mm thick in 1:2:4 ratio (cement:sand:6 mm down aggregate) admixed with Dr. fixit Pidicrete MPB or equivalent @ 5% by weight of cement or as per requisite % as recommended by the manufacturer & sandwitched with 24 gauze chicken wire mesh all in complete including khurras with neat good finish all in complete. And allow the surface for water curing for minimum 15 days. (Approved Brand : Dr. Fixit, FOSROC)

Providing and laying 120 gsm geotextile membranes with an overlap of 100 mm on the cured membrane surface with suitable adhesive all in complete

Providing and applying fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane with resilient acrylic polymers having Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of 105 on top of concrete roof in three coats @10.76 litre/ 10 sqm. One coat of self-priming of elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dilution with water in the ratio of 3:1) and two coats of undiluted elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dry film thickness of complete application/system not less than 500 microns). The operation shall be carried out after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles with wire brushes, complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.(Approved Brand FOSROC, DR. FIXIT)NOTE:Water proofing test with filling water on roof top for 4 days has to de done before handing over the site.NOTE: Guarantee of waterproofing for a period of 10 years ( from approved manufactueres i.e. FOSROC/Dr.FIXIT or company\"s approved applicator) from the date of completion of the work in the specific areas. Any leakages occurring during this period due to defective material or bad workmanship shall be rectified free of cost.
