Tender For Repair Tocertain Road At Ranikhet Mil Stn Under Ge Ranikhet; 1 Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed. 2 M/L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (Paving bitumen)VG -10 @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm on existing black top surface complete all as specified and directed. 3 M&L for bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content of bitumen with viscosity grade VG-30 by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete with 8 to 10 tonnes power roller to required complete all as specified and directed. 4 M/L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (Paving bitumen)VG -10 @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm on unsurfaced water bound macadam incl preparing surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed. 5 M&L for premix bituminous, macadam with binder content of 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 grade, laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber in consolidated thickness 75 mm or less complete all as specified and directed.Note :(i)Aggregates for Bituminous works shall confirm to clause No 20.B.2.5of SSR 2009 Part- I (ii) Based on job mix formula, in case the binder content (i.e. Bitumen) is less than the content specified under this item then a minus adjustment @ 60 per kg rate of bitumen (less consumption) shall be applied on the quoted rate of contractor against this item, hence the quoted rate of contractor shall be reduced based on less content of bitumen required as per job mix formula. However, no price adjustment on plus side shall be made for increase of quantity of bitumen in case of required as per job mix formula. (iii) Design Mix for bituminous macadam shall be carried out through an authorised testing lab and the cost of testing shall be included in quoted rate. 6 M & L for layinghot applied thermoplastic compound (paint) 2.5 mm thick including reflecting glass beads incl cost of all materials, labour, machinery, T&P etc. required for proper completion of work incl all other charges. Painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc. on roads, pavements and the like exc. 10 cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow all as specified. 7 Supply and fixing in repair cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA strip lens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions including dismantling of existing cat eye complete all as specified and directed. 8 Supply and fix in repair solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. all as specified and directed including dismantling of existing solar cat eyes complete all as specified and directed. 9 Supply and fixing in repair metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed including dismantling of metal tubular delineator complete all as specified and directed. 10 M&L For Framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing including dismantling of old steel work complete all as specified and directed. 11 Supplying and fixing in repairs retro reflective Overhead informatory road signage and boards, (Size 1.2x0.90 mtr) made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity and encapsulated lens type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - III of ASTMD-4956-01 as approved by Engineer-in-charge, letters, borders etc. as per IRC : 67-2001 in silver white with blue colour back ground and with high intensity grade, pasted on substrate by pressure sensitive adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying pressure conforming to class II of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same to the plate of structural frame work by means of suitable sized aluminium alloys, rivets or bolts & nuts @ 300 mm centre to centre all along the periphery as well as in two vertical rows along with theft resistant measures, including the cost of painting with two or more coats of epoxy paint in grey colour on the back side of aluminium sheet including appropriate priming coat. The rate includes the cost of rounding off the corners, lowering down the structural frame work from the gantry, fixing and erecting the same in position all complete as per drawings, specification and direction of the engineer-in-charge.(Structural frame work including M.S. plate to be provided separately.
