Tender For Comprehensive Maintenance Of Eot And Hot Cranes Inside Naval Dock Yard Under Age E/M No. Iii Of Ge[U-I] Visakhapatnam.; 1 Comprehensive Maintenance and Repairs of EOT Cranes [05 Nos] & HOT Cranes [08 Nos] inside Naval Dock Yard Area for periodic maintenance of cranes with Collective / Selective control schedule by carrying out periodic checks, repairs, attending breakdowns on priority as and when required and testing as recommended by the manufacturers and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge to ensure smooth / safe and efficient operation, including replacement of spares and all as specified in Particular Specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Notes:[a] MANPOWER TO BE EMPLOYED: The contractor shall be required to employ One Skilled Crane Mechanic along with One Helper with Three Years of relevant experience for 08 Hours [0900 to 1700 Hours] i.e. working hours of Cranes. All the manpower employed shall report to the Office of AGE [E/M]/ Sub Station for day to day maintenance and efficient functioning of Cranes.[b] The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive for supply and replacement of Minor Spares and consumables viz. lubrication oil/ grease/ bolts/ nuts, etc. (except major spares which shall be measured seperately as Supply only under relevant items) as and when required for trouble free, smooth and efficient functioning of Cranes including servicing/ overhauling as and when required to all mechanical parts of Cranes including overhauling of gear box complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge and cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted and Nothing extra shall be paid on these accounts. All the safety measures shall be ensured for serviceable condition of Cranes. 2 [c] Servicing of HOT Cranes Chain Pulley Block twice during the Contract Period and Cost of any minor spares required other than specified herein below shall be deemed to have been included in unit rate quoted.[d] The unit rate quoted for Comprehensive Maintenance shall be deemed to be inclusive for Load Testing for each crane ONCE during the contract period under 110% of full load capacity of cranes on hoisting, long travel and cross travel for checking the performance including deflection test with necessary manpower, instruments, necessary internal transportation required complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Load / Deflection Test for all EOT Cranes shall be carried out by the contractor through Licensed Crane Inspector in presence of department representative as directed by the GE & user representative and test results shall be recorded and necessary certificate shall be obtained from Licensed Crane Inspector and submitted to the department. The loads required for the testing and necessary transportation shall be arranged by the respective user at the sites, but the man power / instruments / internal transport required for testing at different locations shall be arranged by the contractor.[e] The unit rate quoted for Comprehensive Maintenance shall be deemed to be inclusive for topping up of Gear Oil of Grade SP 320 as and when required as per capacity of Gear Box, Injecting and applying Grease as and when required and Rectification of Oil leakages if any from LT Gear Box of Cranes including replacement of spares required thereof. 3 [f] The unit rate quoted for Comprehensive Maintenance shall deemed to be inclusive for painting of all cranes with one coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade as required ONCE during the contract period as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.[g]The contractor shall abide by the latest Labour Rules and Minimum Wages Act.[h] Wages paid by the contractor to the persons employed shall not be less than the minimum wages fixed by State/ Central Government from time to time whichever is higher.[j] The contractor is responsible for making subscription towards Insurance, EPF, ESI,Labour Welfare Cess etc., as applicable and shall pay Gratuity, Bonus etc to the Workmen as per existing Labour Rules / Acts / Regulations and rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for the same. [k] The contractor shall be responsible for all Accidents / Injuries happening to the workmen. Any accident causing Minor / Fatal Injury, Partial Disability due to any untoward incident or non-adherence to Safety and IE Regulations or fault in maintaining of crane System / Safety Mechanism or on account of any mishandling / wrong operation / lack of knowledge of safety precautions or on account of any circumstances beyond his/their control, the contractor shall be solely responsible for settling all claims of compensation to the deceased, failing which department will have a right to recover any sum indicated / claimed by Labour Commissioner / Court authorities. No claim whatsoever will be entertained in this regard. No compensation is payable by the department on this account. Contractor shall provide first aid boxes to meet any emergency situations. 4 Supply Only 3 Pole Power Contactor of capacity 32 Amps, Suitable for EOT Crane 1.0 Ton capacity complete all as specified and as directed. 5 Supply Only 3 Pole Auxilary Contactor of capacity 20 to 32 Amps, complete all as specified and as directed. 6 Supply only LT & CT Limit Switches, 10 to 32 Amps, suitable forEOT Crane of capacity 1.0 to 3 Ton complete all as specified and as directed. 7 Supply only thermal over load relay upto 14.5 Amps complete all as specified and as directed. 8 Supply only brake shoes liner for EOT cranes of any capacity complete all as specified and as directed. 9 Supply only brake shoes for EOT cranes of any capacity complete all as specified and as directed. 10 Supply only wheel bearing for EOT crames (LT) upto 2 Ton capacity complete all specified and directed 11 Supply only wheel bearing for EOT crames (CT) upto 2.5 Ton capacity complete all specified and directed 12 Supply only wheel bearing for EOT crames (LT) upto 5 Ton capacity complete all specified and directed 13 Supply only DSL collectors of 10 Amps capacity suitable for EOT cranes complete all as specified and as directed. 14 Supply only DSL collectors of 32 Amps capacity suitable for EOT cranes complete all as specified and as directed. 15 Supply only Steel Wire Rope 12 mm dia for EOT Crane complete all as specified and as directed. 16 Supply only 10 Way Electrical Pendent Push Button Box with Push Buttons NO / NC Elements complete all as specified and as directed. 17 Supply only electrical pendent Push Buttons with NO/NC Elements complete all as specified and as directed. 18 Supply only Pendent Cable 12 core 1.5 Sq.mm, Multistranded Copper Cable complete all as specified and as directed. 19 Supply only PVC insulated, sheathed Multistranded flexible copper conductor cable of size 4 Core, 1.5 Sq.mm complete all as specified and as directed. 20 Supply only HRC Fuses 16 to 32 Amps capacity suitable for EOT Cranes complete all as specified and as directed. 21 Shifting of motor upto 1.5KW capacity to work shop, rewinding with super enamelled copper winding wire of existing gauge of superior quality with proper insulation and bringing back to site including testing on completion complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. [Note: Dismantling / taking down of motor and refixing in original position with proper alignment is deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rate for Comprehensive maintenance under item No. 1 of BOQ] 22 Shifting of motor of capacity above 1.5KW but upto 3.7 KW capacity to work shop, rewinding with super enamelled copper winding wire of existing gauge of superior quality with proper insulation and bringing back to site including testing on completion complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. [Note: Dismantling / taking down of motor and refixing in original position with proper alignment is deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rate for Comprehensive maintenance under item No. 1 of BOQ] 23 Shifting of motor of capacity above 3.7KW but upto 5.5 KW capacity to work shop, rewinding with super enamelled copper winding wire of existing gauge of superior quality with proper insulation and bringing back to site including testing on completion complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. [Note: Dismantling / taking down of motor and refixing in original position with proper alignment is deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rate for Comprehensive maintenance under item No. 1 of BOQ] 24 Shifting of magnetic brake coil to work shop, rewinding with super enamelled copper winding wire of existing gauge of superior quality with proper insulation and bringing back to site including testing on completion complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. [Note: Dismantling / taking down of brake coil and refixing in original position with proper alignment is deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rate for Comprehensive maintenance under item No. 1 of BOQ] 25 Supply only Gear Wheel Shaft suitable for Cranes upto 3 Ton capacity complete all as specified and as directed. 26 Alignment of EOT crane tracks of any capacity both sides, including gas cutting, welding and grinding for smooth functioning of crane travel upto the bay length of 52m complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge 27 Supply only brake unit suitable for EOT Cranes upto 3 Ton capacity including liners & shoes complete all as specified and as directed. 28 Supply only cross travel unit for HOT crane upto 3 Ton capacity complete all as specified and as directed. 29 Supply only chain pulley block for HOT crane upto 3 Ton capacity for a length of 6m complete all as specified and as directed. 30 Supply only 415 Volts, 3 Phase, 5.5KW(HD)/7.5KW(ND) VariableFrequency Drive along with necessary programming of the drive complete all as specified and as directed. 31 Supply only trailing cable of size 3 core 4 Sqmm PVC copper flexible cable 1100 volts complete all as specified and directed 32 Supply only trailing cable of size 6 core 2.5 Sqmm PVC copper flexible cable 1100 volts complete all as specified and directed 33 Supply only trailing cable of size 4 core 2.5 Sqmm PVC copper flexible cable 1100 volts complete all as specified and directed
