Tender For Repair/ Maint To Swt, Fencing, Hard standing & Certain Misc B/R Works At Aftc, 2 Dc Area & Afs Jalahalli; 1 M&L for removing old existing rubbish/battered/useless mixture of the binding materials such as cement / Lime and fine aggregate (<4.5mm retained on IS Sieve), loose/unsound weaken mixture of binding materials such as cement / Lime and coarse Aggregate (>4.5mm retained on IS Sieve), fine Aggregate of any description and in any position from existing external/internal surfaces of RCC components or any surface having average profundity of 15mm (Approx height 10m from natural ground level) by hand tool that has a long metal blade with a sharp edge at the end, chisel and hammer or using robust pneumatic chisel hand tools and removal beyond MoD land including cutting of all edges, making square shoulders of the aperture, coarsen the smooth surfaces, curettage /removing of all deterioted/decayed loose surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. 2 M&L for cleaning and removing all corrosion scales , rust , etc using emery / wire brush and finally cleaning using rust remover & cleaning agent that is one part alkaline based material, with corrosion inhibitors and dispersing agents and supplied as a clear brown solution. The specific gravity shall be 1.2 – 1.22 @ 25°C. The pH value shall be between 9.5 to 10 and the coverage shall be 5 – 6 m2/ L as per manufacturer instructions complete all asspecified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. 3 M&L for repair to cracks and damaged existing surfaces of sumpby Hydrogen Free Expanding And Plasticising Additive . It plasticizes the mix, allowing for substantial reduction in water without affecting the fluidity, thus improving the strength and impermeability, the admixture/ additive in cement to provide non‐shrink properties Cementitious Cable Encapsulation .(a). Fixing of pvc nozzles in zig-zag fashion not more than 50cm c/c on RCC surfaces on all directions as required after drilling holes in concrete, fixing pvc nozzles with fast setting mortar and covering with renderoc plug. The size of holes shall be 20mm dia and 75mm in depthcomplete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 4 M&L for applying Polyster Resin based Anchoring material in concrete before fixing nozzle it should typically attains a compressive strength in excess of 20N/mm @ 3 hours and and ultimate compressive strength of 70N/mm in 7 days (50mm x 50mm x 50mm)when tested as per BS 6319 Part 2 : 1983as per manufacturer instructions complete all asspecified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. 5 M&L for Shear thinning agents in RCC/ walls/ ceiling/ columns/ beams/floor/bricks cracks after opening up in “V” groove manner covering the area of 300mm from central line of crack with the depth of 8 mm complete with three components compound graded filler, E-Resins and Shear thinning agents with adjustable consistency by varying the filler component epoxy resin based complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. 6 M&L for applying 2 coats of primer slurry prior to the application of the repair mortar having multiple corrosion inhibiting synergies and which is a blend of pc graded fillers corrosion inhibiting additive and re-dispersible polymers in powder form mixed with water for application by brush to coat the reinforcement/steel within 10mm of the finish surface and where chlorides are present so as to achieve adhesion bond strength of 1 MPa to steel. Pot life of 0.5 hr @ 30°C. It shall be workable for not more than 15 minutes at same temperature. The mixed density shall be not more than 2.05. The water/powder ratio shall be 0.3 by weight complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. 7 M&Lfor providing and fixing welded MS wire mesh weighing not less than 1Kg/Sqm of size 50mmX50mm of 2.6mm dia on the prepared surface & surface should be cleaned andbe removed from dirt, fungus and all foreign material complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. 8 M&L for providing 25 mm thick one component chloride free thixotropic fibre reinforced polymer modified repair mortar with alkali resistant synthetic fibres for exceptional resistance cracking complies ASTM C 109 with flexural strength ASTM C 348 @ 7 days meeting 7N/mm2, tensile strength @ 7days (ASTM C 307)> 3 N/mm2, compressive strength of 35Mpa at 7 day and 45Mpa at 28 days, Adhesion bond strength> 2 N/mm2 ,Creep Strain Reduction- 10% at the outer or inner RCC surface.cement and sand can be used for finishing purpose. It should be specially adhered to BS 6319 having specific gravity of 1.025 to 1.04, minimum 43% solid contents as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 9 M&L for applying 2 coats of two component solvent free , moisture insenstive epoxy resin coating it should achieve Compressive Strength of >70 MPa after 14days, having pot life Pot life, minutes at 27⁰C, 100 g >40 mass.The product shall have a minimum pot life of 120 Min at 35°C and an open time of atleast 4-6 Hours @ 30°C.It shall develop a minimum compressive strength of 40 MPa and a bond Strength of 11 MPa.Before applying coating surface should be cleaned from dirt, fungus and all foreign material as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. 10 M&L for providing and spraying polyamine cured epoxy coatingincorporating a special alkali reactive emulsion breaking system compoundover the plastered surface. This impervious film prevents excessive water evaporation which in turn permits more efficient cement hydration, thus reducing shrinkage and increasing durability. It shall have a specific gravity of 1.02 and the minimum application temperature shall be 10°C and the strength of concrete complies with the internationally recognised ASTM C309-90 standards typically within the range of 200 to 285 ml/sqm, SG - 1.02 including all tools and tackles complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- charge. 11 M&L for applying 3 coats of corrosion inhibiting, polymer matrix with excellent mechanical properties such as adhesion and elongation as waterproofing barrier coating. It should be non toxic and non-re-emulsifying. Should conform to JIS Z 1535 and IS-3085 and DIN-1048.having Hardness - Shore D scale of 20,wet density of 1.66 g/cc, flexibility at low temperatures, tensile strength > 0.4 MPa, Elongation > 20%, adhesion to substrate greater than 1.5 N/mm², waterproofing to withstand 330 KPa positive pressure and 160 KPa negative pressure, Mixing should be done by electric rotary mixers. The substrate should be free of laitance, loose concrete, dust, oil etc. if applied on screed or any other cementitious surface the surface should be properly cured prior to application complete all asspecified and directed by Engineer-in-charge 12 M&L forapplying two coat of mixture of two monomer unsaturated liquid hydrocarbon , gaseous hydrocarbon and polymesrized them to get the high polymerdispersion emulsion successfully bonded to mortar, to improve adhesion to concrete, better durability, reducedshrinkage and increased flexibility and resistant toemulsification in damp condition modified Ensuring no porosityin new/old surface, temperatures between +5°C and +35°C, Resist to penetration of CO24.600 micron , compressive strength (11.5 N/mm2) at 3days strength - 11.5 (N/sqmm ) and at 28 days - 25.30N/sqmmas per manufacturer instructions complete all asspecified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. 13 M&L for protecting and plastering of waterproofed surface Using cement based, micro- silica restoration mortar mixed with hydrolysis resistant primer cement modifier,not less than 8% of weight of micro silica restoration mortar.The product needing only addition of water at site which can be applied by trowel.cement, sand can be used for finishing purpose. It is reinforced with specially designed bean shaped, alkali resistant synthetic fibers for exceptional resistance to cracking. It is recommended for repair situations requiring application of mortar up to 10 mm thickness in one layer.The product shall achieve a compressive strength of 11 MPa in 1 day & 30 MPa in 28 days and a minimum flexural strength of 6 MPa @ 7 days. It shall have a tensile strength of minimum 2 MPa. It shall have a minimum bond strength of 2 MPa as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 14 M&L for applying 2 coats after removal of curing membrane with emery paper two part non toxic solvent free epoxy resin coating for lining and potable water retaining structures having 100% solid contents,approved by CFTRI(USFDA-175.300)and complies to ASTM D 2370,etc non toxic cured film meets requirements as per IS 9883:1981 at 200 microns DFT overall thickness200 microns for two coats on the water retaining portion .The coating should be applied on prepared and cured surfaces after removing loose dust, dirt etc, and mixing the materials using slow speed electric drill. It should be applied with a suitable stiff nylon type brush complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- charge. 15 Note for item No. 1 to 14 :-The work for items Srl No 1 to 14 shall be executed directly by manufacturer or through their authorized and qualified applicators,of any following manufacturer only. M/s Thermax Limited,M/s Fosroc chemicals, M/s Tiki Tar Danosa India Ltd. 16 The contractor shall submit performance guarantee certificate for structural repair/leakage/seepage for a period of 10 years from the certified date of completion. 17 The unit quoted rate shall be inclusive of material, all labours, tools and plants including scaffolding required for working upto 15 mtr height from natural ground level. 18 The defect liability period for the structural repair work shall be 05 (five) years from the certified date of completion of work. 19 A security deposit of value equal to 2.5% of the rate quoted against each item shall be retained from Final bill payment due to the contractor for the defect liability period. 20 Dismantling structural steel work incl doors, gates etcbut excluding framed trusses etc complete all as specified and directed. 21 S&Fin framed work as in doors or gates of angle tubes or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces,guard bar etc., complete, to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and includinghinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering) and hanging; also fastening and fixing Fe 410 -W (Gde- E- 250) quality-A complete incl removal of old MS work complete all as specified and directed. 22 S&F Welded steel wire fabric cut to length, bent to shape required and tying with and including annealed mild steel not less than 0.9mm dia or fixing with galvanised steel staples supplied and fixed complete to wood or steel membersnot exceeding 4kg/sqm complete all as specified and directed. 23 S & F MS Steel work in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming toIS.1161-1979 grade St.-240complete all as specified and directed. 24 M & L Providing two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surfaces over 10 cm width or girth including preparation of new steel surfaces all as specified and directed. 25 M&L PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded aggregate 75mm thick as in sub base of floor finished even and rough to receive top layer all as specified and directed and demolition of old concrete (un reinforced) of any description and in anypositionnot otherwise specifically provided. 26 M & L for 100 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone agg) as in PCCin Hard standing etc.with , spike rolling ,or making impression of expanded metal, while the concrete is green complete all as specified and demolition of old concrete (un reinforced) of any description and in anypositionnot otherwise specifically provided. 27 M&L for machine pressed pre polished precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 80mm thickness, M-40 Grade over sand cushion with grey cement and no pigment incl removal of old paver blocks and necessary demolition all as specified and directed. 28 M & L for Sand filling under floors or in foundations including watering and consolidation and all as specified and directed. 29 Material and labourfor Preparation of old decoratedplastered or unplastered surfaceof wall, brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent , trading, oil, greasy spots and applying one coat of cement based paint complete all as specified and as directed. 30 M&L for preparation of old plastered surfaces of wall by using pressure washer, removal all dirt and dust and applying one coat of exterior emulsion (APEX) weather proof paintcomplete all as specified and as directed. 31 Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concreteetc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises and leaving the work clear of any plastering Material and labour for Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers onbrick or stone or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement completeall as specified and directed.Note :-(a) The unit rate quotedis deemed to include for removal of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protectionto outside MD land. 32 M&L preparation of newly plastered surfaces of wall and applying three coats of white washing on wall surfaces complete all as specified and directed. 33 Demolition of Concrete (un reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and as directed. 34 Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel, or RCC) any section, any length n exc 5m including taking out embedded portion in concrete, brick work, masonry etc and incl necessary excavation for new post holesall as specified and directed. 35 M&L for Cement concrete 1:3:6 type C2 (using 40 mm graded stone agg) as in foundation, filling and for mass concreteall as specified and directed 36 S & FMS angle iron Hand rails, fencing posts, flat iron including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts;posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed. 37 Supply only of chain link fencing MS galvanised square wire mesh of size 50mm X 50mm, dia of wire 4mm including line wires, to any type of standard rails, straining bolts, etc complete all as specified and directed. 38 Fixing only in repairs chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc inlcuding provision of binding wire and dismantling of old fencing wire mesh of any typeetc all as specified and directed. 39 S&F in repairs MS round bars 10 mm dia and overFe 290 (Gde - E-165) cut to length bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally, hooping for columns, hooking ends all as specified and directed. 40 S &F in repairs Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) dia of neck 16 to 20mm with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, n exc 5cm long, complete all as specified and directed. 41 M&L for broken stone boulders hard core of guage n.exc 63mm deposited spread and level laid in layers n.exc 15cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed. 42 M&L in repairs 300x300x25mm thick prepolished cement concrete chequered tiles jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the floor and including 20mm thick screed bed in CM (1:4) and incl removal of old unserviceable tiles and necessary demolition all as specified and directed. 43 M&Lin repairs Pre-cast PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded with plain facesand demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition and in any position complete all as specified and directed. 49 Providing in repairs cement concrete in PCC coping 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm aggregate stone aggregate) and demolition ofold concrete (un reinforced) of any description and in anypositionnot otherwise specifically provided of any description as specified and directed. 50 M&L applying two coat of cement based paint over a coat of primer, including preparation of newly plastered wall surfaces of any description, complete all as specified and as directed. 51 M & L broken glass coping on top of walls in cement mortar 1:3 incl taking down old glass and removing the rubbish to a distance not less than 100 m and deposited where directed. 52 Note for item No 51 : The unit quoted rate deemed to be included for following :-(a) 25mm layer of cement mortar glass (of bottle or thick glass) broken to approximately 63mm gauge, shall be firmly embedded at the rate of 10 Kg of glass per square metre of rendered surface, jogged edges of the glass being left projecting.(b) Taking down existing glass and directed. 56 S & F in repair concertina coilof 610mm dia (in stretched position) hot dip galvanised steel wire coated with CLR ante corrosive coating making diamond shape with the help of devotail clips (18 SWG) fixed over barbed with the angle iron the concertina coil is to be fixed with barbed wire at points where coil touched the bottom of barbed wire with the help of hog rings (14 SWG) Preparation of old painted surfaces of steel and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paintover 10 cm width or girth, not other wise describedcomplete all as specified and as directed. 63 Taking down and refixing precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60mm thickness, M-35 Grade over sand cushion with grey cement and no pigment and including side kerb concrete, including removal and refixing all as specified and directed. 64 Note :- An amount of Rs 52,137.50 on account of credit schedule for schedule A part II shall be deducted from the total amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum.
