Tender For Provision Of Hangar And Other Amenities At Icgae Porbandar; 1 Material and labour for design, supply and erection/ construction of Hangar building constisting of RCC framed structure and PEB structure complete all as specified and directed including following:(i) The line plan for the hangar building is enclosed. The size of the hangar building as marked on drawing shall be 40mx22mx10m clear height. The foundation and columns upto clear height of 10m from finished floor level shall be RCC framed structure with PCC block walls and the structure above this shall be PEB all as specified. (ii) The design of the hangar building and PQC flooring shall be done after carrying out soil investigation as per scope given in particular specifications. The soil report of adjacent site is enclosed for reference as Appdx - to particular specifications. The design of the building and PQC flooring shall be done after actual soil testing at site and the soil test report and the design of the hangar building and PQC flooring shall be got vetted from IIT/ NIT. No adjustment shall be made in rate quoted for any variation in actual test report and the test report of adjacent site enclosed. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of soil testing and design as above.(iii) RCC structure shall be with design mix M-30 with specifications and design parameters as specified. The PEB structure shall be fabricated from plate or bar stock by cold forming process confirming to physical specifications for Built up sections Plates ofASTM A-572 (Grade 50) or hot rolled structural sections confirming to ASTMA-36, Bracing rods confirming to ASTM A-36M (Grade 36), Cold formed sections physical specifications of ASTM A-6532 (Grade 65) with complete treated two coats polyurethene paint over a coat of steel PU primer to all primary steel members.(iv) The roofing and cladding above PCC block walls shall be with prepainted galvalume sheeting 0.55mm TCT, 550 MPa confirming to ASTM A-792 (Grade 80) with provision of minimum 3.00mm thick rigid polycarbonate sheet profiled to match roofing/ claddig profile for sky light for minimum 15% of roof area. Max ridge height shall be maintained as per roof slope of 1:10 2 (v) Automated remote electrically operated hangar doors: The front and back doors of the hanger shall be designed and executed along with automated operation and shall be sliding type. The configuration of doors shall be as:- Front Doors- 04 Nos of size 5.5m x 10m each & Back Doors- 04 Nos of size 5.5m x 10m each: Sliding type, Electromechanical operated (Automatic cum manual operated) including automatic mechanism with stand by power pack, using corrosive resistant material, including integrated safety mechanism such as sensors to prevent injuries during operation, Redundant systems to avoid malfunctions and Audio/Video indicators to notify personal and doors to be covered from inside also. The door frames shall be covered with prepainted profiled galvalume sheet on outside and plain prepainted galvalume sheet from inside of TCT of 0.55mm.(vi) Two additional MS doors (one on each side wall) of size 2.5m x 2m each shall be provided on side walls.(vii) Six Nos stainless steel Nos Turbo Roof ventilators of minimum 400mm size shall be provided in roof sheeting of the hangar at appropriatelocations for effective ventilation.(viii) The entire hangar building shall be made bird proof by fixing polyfin weather proof copolymer machine knotting using CNC machine UV black colour anti bird net made out of 1 mm thick nylone rope having aperture 25 mm x25mm (± 2mm) with twin breaking strength 16 kg force minimum, mesh breaking strength 12 kg force minimum and knot breaking strength 22 kg force minimum having depth stretch and length stretch (DSLS) Technology for anti slip knotting and heat setting at steam done for greather dimension stability, Bird net shall be tightened with 5 mm thick nylon rope with steel structure of hangar. (ix) Painting/ Lettering – “INDIAN COAST GUARD” (01 each in English and Hindi) (Letter size and quality as per adjoining hangars) to be painted on hangartop both side.(x) RCC Stair case with SS Railing to reach hangar Roof/ walkways shall be provided as shown in line plan of building enclosed. 3 Notes:- 1) The design of hangar building floor is included in the scope of this item but the execution and payment of complete floor including filling/ excavation under floor shall be measured and paid under other measurable items in BOQ.2) Excavation for foundation, walls including returning/ filling in and removing excess soil to a distance not exceeding 500m shall be included in the scope of this item. 3) The plinth protection as shown in line plan of the building including connected items shall be part of the scope of this item and shall be provided as specified.4) Minor provisions required for a functional aircraft hangar are deemed to be included in the rate quoted whether specifically included in tender documents or not. 4 Matrial & Labour for Epoxy antiskid floor coating system of overall minimum thickness of 5.00mm and provided/ applied after surface prepration by cleaning surface from dust, dirt muck, moisture and all foreign material and cleaning by mechanical means using mechanincal scrubbing/grinder, chemical treatment for cleaning oil if required followed by application of primer nitoprimer 25 of fosroc or equivelant of sika/ Bostic which shall be a two component, Epoxy based system. The pre packed and factory weighed two component system shall be mixed using a low speed drill and applied at 5.5 - 6.5m2/ltr@ 200 microns thick. Then providing and applying the screed layer with nitoflor EU5 of Fosroc or equivelant of sika/ Bostic at minimum thickness of 3000 microns @ 7.5 m2/pack @ 2mm thickness. The self levelling screedshall consist of low viscous epoxy system and graded aggregated (special silica/ filler). The pre packedcomponents shall be mixed as per the packing ratio and applied. The Epoxy underlay shall achieve a minimum compressive strength of 60 N/mm2, flexural stength of 20 N/mm2 and tensile strength of 10N/mm2, 7 days. The underlay shall have nil water absorption when tested as per BS 1881 Part 122-1983. Over the screed, apply copper tape of 100 microns thick and 25mm width, connected to existing in earth pit having spacing 10m in both directions, then conductive primer coat Nitoflor SL of Fosroc or equivalent of Sika/Bostic. Conductive base coat shall be applied at a thickness of 100 microns and the top coat of 2000 microns - Nitoflor Sl conductive of Fosroc or quivalent in sika/ bostic shall be applied to provide approx 3x103- 9x103 ohm surface resistance which shall be applied in pre-weighed packs and ready to mix and use which will consist of resin, hardner EPI (colour concentrate) formulated aggregate and carbon fiber+ special anti skid silica sand / filler. All these to be mixed in pre wighed ratio, add EPI colour(colour concrete)formulated aggregated and add special antiskid silica sand/ filler to agitate the mixture by an electrically driven motor and lay the mixture to the thickness of 2000 microns then de-aerate by using spika roller and to allow to cure for a minimum period of 48 hours before trafficking is commenced. Over top coat flouroscent demarcation paint shall be applied to mark different areas and standard markings as required as per standard practice in different colours. 5 Demolition Concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for etc complete. 6 Demolition Concrete cement reinforced (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for etc complete all as specified and directed. 7 M&L for excavating over areas, in soft/disintegrated rock exc 1.5 m deep and getting out and complete. 8 Removing excavatedmaterials etc,to a distance exc. 500 m & n exc 1.5 Km and depositing where directed at a level n exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.. 9 Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces with 8 to 12tonne power roller to compact sub grade to 98%modified proctor density all as specified. 10 Material and Labour for layingand compacting 200 mm thick (compacted thicknes) granular sub base course (GSB) grading asper Grade-V as specified Table 400-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013, in a single layer over compacted gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag, or combination thereof as per the grading required. The materials are mechanically mixed, spread and levelling on the subgrade by using motor grader of adequate capacity, and rolling wirh vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight for achieving required compaction density of atleast 98% of the Maximum Dry Density. Consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridges works, 2013 complete all as specified and as directed. 11 M&L forlaying and compacting 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) laid in two layers of 75mm each, grading as per table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory rollar of capacity 80-100 KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. The finished surface tolerances to be as per Tablle 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge work 2013 complete all as specified and as directed. 12 M&Lsand cushion with clean river sand duly clear of residual, organic and deleterious materials spread evenly to uniform thickness laid over DLC layer ,under paved area, under cables as specified and directed. 13 Supplying and laying 400 micron thick HDPE sheet (Virgin Quality) water proof, wrinkle free without puncture having minimum weight 390 gm/sqm over tack coat/sand cushion as specified in the design with overlap between adjacent strips and at transverse joints as minimum 300mm complete all as specified and as directed. 14 Providing and laying Dry Lean Concrete (DLC) 125 mm thick of aggregate gradation as per Table-1 of SP 49 2014 having 7 days average ccompressive strength not less than 140 kg/cum DLC mixed in batching Plant, trnsported to site and laid by electronic sensor paver including amplitude tamping bars of paver (initial compaction) further by double drum smooth wheeled vibratory rolles with 80-100 KN static weight to acheive minimum dry density not less than 98% of maximum dry density, ncessary finishing etc. complete all as specified and tolerances to be as per table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for road and bridge work 2013 complete all as specified and as directed. 15 M&L for pavement quality concrete (PQC) of minimum 28 days field flexural strength of 45 Kg/Sqcm or 4.5 Mpa, aggregate gradation as per Table 3 of IRC 15-2017, coarse aggregate of clean, hard stronge, dense, non-porous and durable pieces of crushed stone or gravel, fine aggregates of clean natural sand or crushed stone sand or combination of both using minimum 360 Kg/Cum of cement with non-circular, virgin synthetic fibre of 12-18 mm length, specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39, UV stable, alkali resistant with equivalent dia 15-40 micron, minium tensile strengthof 300 Mpa and at the rate as specified by the manufacturer. PQC laid, spread and compacted with slip-form paver of minimum 7.50 m width, including curing and tining by texturing cum curing machine complete all as specified and directed. Required surface texturing to be done as specified in clause10.1.14 and Table 8 of IRC 15 2017. 16 M&L for forming 25 mm width expansion joint in concrete slab for full depth of PQC. Early entry saw and subsequent cutting by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. The joint then filled with pre-moulded 25 mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified, thereafter application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealent. Placing of closed cell, medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 30 mm dia, over filler board and filled with polyurethene based sealant complying with BS-5212, BS-4254 and EN- 141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% having minimum 10 year performance guarantee, applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per method specified by the manufacturer complete as specified and directed. 17 M&L for cutting of construction joints 25mm deep and 10mm wide by early entry saw cut using diamond bit cutter of appropriate sixe, straight and smooth edges, Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. Application of two coats of prime with thin brusgh by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 mintues before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell,medium densite, crossed linked polyethlene foam backup rod of 12mm dia, applciaiton of bond breaker tape on top of back up rod for complete width of the joint and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minium movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% having minium 10 year performance gurantee, applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as the method specified by the manufacturer complete as specified and directed. 18 M&L for forming dummy/contraction joint with an initial saw cut of 3mm soon after the concrte has set, upto a depth of 1/3rd to 1/4th the thickness of the slab, widening the first saw cut to 6mm and 24mm deep byu using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with applciatiuon of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. Applicaiton of two coats of priome with thiun brush by forward and backward of prime with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before palcing the backup rod and pouring the sealant.Placing of closed cell, medium density, crossed linked polyurethane foam backup tape on top of back up rod for complete width of hte joint and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minium movementaccommdoation factor (MAF) of +/-30% haviong minium of 10 year performance gurantee, applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacturer complete as specified and directed. 19 M&L for preparation of new concrete surface of runways and painting to line, dashes, arrows, letters etc.on roads, pavement and the like exc 10 cm wide to the shape and pattern as per instructions with adequate coat of road marking paint white, golden yellow and black etc. complete all as specified and directed. 20 Surface excavation in hard dense soil n.exc (not exceeding) 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out complete all as specified and as directed. 21 M & L Cement concrete type D-2, 1:4:8 (40mm graded aggregate) 100mm thick as in sub base for floors all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 22 M&L for provide machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paverblock with grey cement any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 80 mm thickness M-40 Grade all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 23 M&L for providing, cement concrete in Type B1 1:2:4 (using 20mm aggregate) end side kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edge all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 24 Removing excavated material n
