Tender For Interior Renovation Works For Horizontal Extension Of Chemical Lab At Scl Premises , Sector-72, S.A.S Nagar.; 1 Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. 2 In cement mortar 3 Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge. 4 Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. 5 Nominalconcrete1:3:6orrichermix(includingequivalent design mix) 6 Dismantling aluminium/ MS partitions, doors, windows, fixed glazing including disposal of unserviceable material and stacking of serviceable material with in 50 meters lead as directed by Engineer-in-charge 7 Dismantling steel work in built up sections in angles, tees, flats and channels including all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, cutting rivets, welding etc. including dismembering and stacking within 50metres lead. 8 Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead. 9 Making the opening in brick masonry including dismantling in floor or walls by cutting masonry and making good the damages to walls, flooring and jambs complete, to match existing surface i/c disposal of mulba/ rubbish to the nearest municipal dumping ground, all complete as per directions of Engineer-In-Charge. 10 For door/ window/ clerestory window 11 Providing & laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centring & shuttering--All work upto plinth level. 12 1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 6 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources) 13 Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement-All work up to plint level: 14 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources) 15 Steel Reniforcement for R.C.C work including straighting , cutting, bending ,placing in position and binding all complete . 16 Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more 17 Centring & shuttering including strutting, propping etc and removal of form work for: 18 Suspendedfloors,roofs,landings,balconiesandaccess platform 19 Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers. 20 Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation and plinth in: 23 Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand) 24 Providing and fixing fire resistant door frame of section 50 x 60 mm on horizontal side & 35 x 60 mm on vertical sides having built in rebate made out of 1.6 mm thick GI sheet ( Zinc coating not less than 120gm/ m²) suitable for mounting 120 min Fire Rated Glazed Door Shutters. The frame shall be filled with Mineral wool Insulation having density min 96Kg/m³ . The frame will have a provision of G.I. Anchor fastners 14 nos ( 5 each on vertical style & 4 on horizontal style of size M10 x 80 ) suitable for fixing in the opening along with Factory made Template for SS Ball Bearing Hinges of Size 100x89x3mm for fixing of fire rated glazed shutter . The frame shall be finished with a approved fire resistant primer or Powder coating of not less than 30 micron in desired shade as per the directions of Engineer - in- charge . 25 Providing and fixing 60 mm thick glazed fire resistant door shutters of 120 min Fire Rating (with view port)confirming to IS:3614 (Part II) or EN1634- 1:1999, tested and certified as per laboratory approved by Engineer-in-charge, with suitable mounting on door frame, consisting of vertical styles, top rail & side rail 60 mm x 60 mm wide and bottom rail of 110 mm x 60 mm made out of 1.6mmthick G.I. sheet (zinc coating not less than 120gm/m²) duly filled mineral wool insulation having density min 96 kg/m³ and fixing with necessary stainless steel ball bearing hinges of size 100x89x3mm of approved make, including applying a coat of approved fire resistant primer or powder coating not less than 30 micron etc all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. View port shall be of size 230mm*150mm comprising ofclear, toughened, interlayered,non-wired fire resistant (120 minutes) glass pane 11 mm thick, GIU beading of 1.6 mm thick GI sheet with M4*38 mm SS screws, alround EPDM/Neoprene rubber beading, automatic door seal,ceramic tape etc. all complete. 26 Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing, paneling and dash fasteners to be paid for separately) : 27 For fixed portion 28 Anodised aluminium (anodised transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS: 1868, Minimum anodic coating of grade AC 15) 29 For shutters of doors, windows & ventilators including providing and fixing SS hinges/ pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket, brush beading etc. required (Fittings shall be paid for separately). 30 Anodised aluminium (anodised transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS: 1868, Minimum anodic coating of grade AC 15) 31 Providing and fixing glazing in aluminium door, window, ventilator shutters and partitions etc. with EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket etc. complete as per the architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-In-Charge. (Cost of aluminium snap beading shall be paid in basic item) 32 With float/froast glass panes of 5 mm thickness (weight not less than 12.50 kg/ sqm). 33 Providing and fixing panic bar/latch (Double point) fitted with single body,Trim latch & lock on back side of the Panic Latch of reputed brand and manufacture to be approved by the Engineer-in-charge,all complete. 34 Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses , framed work, stringer , treads and landing of staircases, railing , guard bar, gratings , gatesand similar work including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete 35 NOTES FOR MARBLE / GRANITE/TILE FLOORING ITEMS: 1) The brand name / local name specified for coloured marble / slabs / granite stone slabs are meant for the approved quality available in the region. 2) White cement wherever specified for items shall be of Birla White or equivalent. 3) The newly laid floor shall be protected with a layer of gypsum / POP (Plaster of Paris) laid over a polythene sheet by covering the entire finished surface as directed till the finished items like painting / polishing etc. This shall be done irrespective of whether mention has been made in the individual flooring items or not at no extra cost. 36 Providing and fixing 10 mm thick acid and/or alkali resistant tiles of approved make and colour using acid and/or alkali resisting mortar bedding, and joints filled with acid and/or alkali resisting cement as per IS : 4457, complete as per the direction of Engineer-in- Charge. 37 In flooring on a bed of 10 mm thick mortar 1:4 (1 acid proof cement : 4 coarse sand) 38 Acid and alkali resistant tile 39 In dado/skirting on 12 mm thick mortar 1:4 (1 acid proofcement : 4 coarse sand) 40 Acid and alkali resistant tile 41 a) Before commencement ofplastering theareashallbe very closely hacked, cleaned, wettedandshall be markedwith Thiyyas or Tapanis and shall be got approved by the Engineer-in-charge with no extra cost to deptt.. 42 b) Whenever the electricalcontractor/ agency has to fix upswitch boxesin walls,necessary Thiyyas orDhadas shall be arranged prior toplastering so that the electrical boxes are fixed properlyinline withthefinished plastered surfaces. 43 c) Noextraclaim/cementconsumption shall be entertained by the Department for the plastering done morethanthe specified thickness shown in the schedule of quantities to bring the plastered surface to perfect line, leveland plumb with adjoining columns and beams 44 d) Grooves of desired size in plaster shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to the department. 45 e) Washed river coarse sand shall be used 46 12mmcement plaster of mix : 47 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand) 48 6 mm cement plaster of mix :1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand) 49 15 mm thick cement plaster on rough side of single or half brick wall of mix : 50 1:6 (1 cement : 6 Coarse sand ) 51 Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete. 52 Applying priming coats with primer of approved brand and manufacture, having low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content 53 With water thinnable cement primer on wall surface having VOC content less than 50 grams/litre 54 Wall painting with premium acrylic emulsion paint of interior grade, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour 55 a) Twoor more coats 56 Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade : 57 Two or more coats on new work over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacture 58 Finishing with Epoxy paint (two or more coats) at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturers specifications including appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface, etc. complete. 59 Note: The work includes (Preparing the old painted surface by sandpapering with emery paper, filling the crevices and smoothning wall surface with two coats of suitable epoxy putty where ever required.)Painting the old prepared wall surface with two or more coats of approved Epoxy Coating of approved brand and colour to give an even shade with lamb wool roller/spray to give a required finish. Including scaffolding, etc. complete all as per manufacturers specification and direction of deptt. 60 On concrete/Brick masonary work 61 Removing white or colour wash by scrapping and sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. Complete 62 52 mm thick cement concrete flooring with concrete hardener topping, under layer 40mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4(1cement :2 coarsesand :4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)and top layer 12 mm thick cement hardner consisting of mix 1:2 (1 cement hardnermix:2 graded stone aggregate 6mm nominal size) by volume,hardening compound mixed @2 litre per 50 kg of cement as per manufacturers specification. This includes cost of cement slurry, but excluding the cost of nosing of steps etc. complete. 63 Providing and fixing glass strips in joints of cement concrete floors 64 40 mm wide and 4 mm thick 65 Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable,dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to the authorised Mohali Municipal Dumping Groundor as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved. 66 Impt Note: 1. Measurement for disposal shall be taken by measuring the size of the trolly. The net volume of the malba disposed shall be reduced by 20% for voids for making payment.
