MTPS- II – Mill Plant Division – Charges for dismantling of existing mill Gear box assembly and assembling of new / Overhauled gear box assembly in coal mill – C including the charges for labour, special type of tools etc.- 1 Removal of accumulated coal from primary air chamber, grinding carrier inner side: Charges for removal of accumulated coal from primary air chamber, grinding carrier inner side, complete cleaning of respective gear box body & floor surroundings, etc… 2 Positioning of scraper plate away from 4 holes on housing roof plates by using Turning gear with motor: Charges for leading, lifting, transporting & lowering of Turning gear with motor assembly from mill – H to mill – C, install the Turning gear motor, arrangement of power supply cable to the turning gear motor and to ensure the direction of rotation of Turning gear motor assembly before the coupling removing process and removal of four Nos. holes cover plates at roof of housing unit. Charges to start up the Turning gear and to ensure the scraper of grinding carrier away from 4 holes on the housing roof plates etc… 3 Gear box lub oil draining & dismantling of gear box lub oil pipe line :Charges for draining the existing gear box oil (1300 liters) from the gear box assembly, dismantling the lub oil pipe line connections for free to move the Motor & Gear box from bed to mill bay.. 4 Dismantling of gear box & motor coupling pin bolts : Charges for dismantling the coupling guard, Protective shield of the main motor and the gear box coupling all spring pin bolt & nuts, rubber bushes for de-coupling the motor and gear box etc… 5 Transporting of mill motor from mill bay to mill repair bay : Charges for releasing of all motor bed bolt & nuts, leading the 1/3rd distance from its original position of motor, locking the required capacity tested wire rope slings & D-shackles etc… for shifting of gear box motor from mill-C to mill repair bay by using chain blocks & existing 30 ton capacity electrical hoist etc…(By leading, lifting, transporting and lowering the motor by using existing 36 Ton Capacity TANGEDCO electrical hoist) 6 Dismantling of coupling from old gear box pinion shaft:Charges for leading, lifting and positioning the fabricated special type puller over the old gear box coupling, locking the puller arrangement & releasing the existing coupling from the gear box by tightening the puller tie rod / hydraulic jacks etc… 7 Assembling of retrieved Gear box coupling to new gear box pinion shaft :Charges for cleaning the new gear box pinion shaft coupling seating area, leading, lifting and positioning the retrieved old gear box coupling to the new gear box pinion shaft by using the special type of fabricated puller arrangement, hydraulic jacks etc… 8 Dismantling of grinding carrier from the old gear box :Charges for dismantling the all anchor bolts of grinding carrier with the gear box,setup four top-drive plate bracket to the grinding carrier, put the four jacks (Each 50 ton capacity) on the bracket, install the positioning plate, immobile plate in order to fix the jacks and brackets and finally lifting the Grinding carrier 50 – 70 mm higher than the top surface of the gear box output flange and fixing the proper dowel pin after lifting the Grinding carrier, dismantling of grinding carrier sealing ring etc… 9 Transporting of old gear box from mill bay to mill repair bay :Charges for lifting the 20 Ton weight gear box assembly and positioning over the dragging arrangement steel round rod structure by using necessary hydraulic jacks, leading of horizontal movement of gear box upto the mill walk way by using required capacity chain blocks, preparation of required quantity of eye – bolt for chain blocklocking purpose locking the required capacity tested wire rope slings over the gearbox asembly, lifting the gearbox whole assembly above 3 mtr height, traansporting and lowering down to the mill repair bay etc., 10 Fabrication of dragging arrangement steel structure for leading the new gear box from motor end to gear box original position (In beneath of under bowl)Charges for fabrication of required qty. of M.S. eye bolt, welding the eye bolt hook at opposite side (ie, Boiler side), fabrication and positioning of new dragging arrangement steel structure at boiler side in front of the existing under bowl stand and for leading the 20 ton weight new gear box assembly from motor end to gear box original position (In beneath of under bowl) etc… 11 Transporting of New gear box from mill repair bay and positioning over the dragging arrangement steel structure :Charges for lifting, transporting and lowering of readily available 20 Ton weight gear box assembly from mill repair bay to mill –D mill bay positioning over the motor side dragging arrangement steel structure, leading the gear box upto the gear box original position (in beneath of under bowl) by using additional support from boiler side dragging arrangement chain block arrangement, lifting the gear box from dragging steel structure, positioning over the bed gear box bed bolts and tightening to all bed bolt nuts etc... 12 Assembling of grinding carrier to the new gear box assembly :Charges for inspection of grinding carrier seal ring, if damaged renew the same, releasing of dowel pin bolt for grinding carrier, lowering the grinding carrier over the gear box top, assembling the grinding carrier bolt & nut by hammer tightening, checking the grinding carrier internals, assembling of 4 holes cover plate at roof of housing unit etc… 13 Assembling the lub oil pipe lines with new gear box & refilling of new gear box oil :Charges for assembling the lub oil pipe line connections with the new gear box, refilling of required capacity new oil to the gear box and its lub oil circulation in pipe lines etc… 14 Transporting of released gear box motor from mill repair bayto respective mill zone : Charges for leading, lifting, transporting of released motor from mill repair bay to respective mill zone, lowering the motor by using required capacity tested wire rope slings & ‘D’-Shackles with help of existing 36 ton capacity electrical hoist etc… after inspection of motor bed bolt & nuts. Renewal of damaged bed bolt & nuts under contractor scope if necessary. (By leading, lifting, transporting and lowering the motor by using existing 36 Ton capacity TANGEDCO electrical hoist). 15 Charges for alignment work of gear box coupling to motor coupling :Charges for alignment work of under bowl to gear box assembly top, gear box coupling to motor coupling with in our TANGEDCO alignment requirement by adjusting the gear box and motor. (Required quantity of dial gauges are under contractor scope).
