Tender For Construction Of Bituminous Road From Silhari Mod To Ratanpurunder Csr.; 1 Dismantling the existing black top bituminous road upto WBM depth /soling depth including stacking of serviceable material, filling of this serviceable materials in the pot holes or disposal of this serviceable material andunserviceable material upto 15 km lead including compacting the dismantled material by suitable roller, compactor to reduce its volume at the site of disposal as required all completeas per direction of Engineer-in-charge. 2 Earth work in excavation, disposal of earth, filling around foundation, plinth, other purposes asper following itemsincluding taking levels by bringing total station, DGPS leveling machine making grid pillar etc. as per requirement and direction of EIC all complete Note-1) Contractor has to arrange for environmental clearance, all other statutory clearance such as excavation /mining/fillingas may be required from all concerned government agencies before start of excavation/fillingwork including payment of all charges, royalties etc. Any penalty arising on account of non compliance of government regulations shall be the responsibility of the contractor. 3 Earth work in excavation, taking out of excavated earth etc for foundation, drainsub gradeetc.in steps as per siteupto required depth, includingproviding required camber in soil for sub grade as required including shoring, shuttering and dewatering as required,side protection, and stacking on the sides of the existing road and disposing surplus earth to any other location within a distance of 15 km. 4 Note:- 1) Contractor has to carry out survey and leveling using total station , DGPSand prepare and submit plan , longitudinal and cross section profile (at every 10 mtr. center to center and 2 mtr. in transverse direction) in hard copy and in AUTO-CAD formatalong the entire length before starting any excavation/filling and then after completion of excavation/fillingand comparison of before and after curves in autocad for volumetric calculation ,including establishing of benchmarks at various points.2) Cleaning, grubbing, surface dressing of excavated area is deemed to be included in the cost of excavation. No separate payment will be made for cleaning, grubbing, surface dressing of excavated area. 3) For excavation work of drain Contractor has to make arrangement for diversion of flow of drain by making temporary bund / drain at his own cost including mobilizing and making use of tanker, pump, pipe etc. as requiredfor sucking the waste water and disposal upto lead of 15 km. No extra payment will be made for this. 5 Filling of excavated earth (Excavated as per item no. 2.1)for foundation, drainplinth, other purposes (except for use as per item no. 3.2)in layers not exceeding 150 mm in thickness watering and consolidation by rammer, suitable compaction equipment etc. disposing surplus earth as per directed by Engineer-In-Charge to a lead upto 15 km. Note- Payment will be on the basis of compacted volume of earth at site. 6 Fillingand construction of sub grade/ embankment/shoulders/any otherfilling as per site requirementfor road construction as per below with material obtained / supplied by contractor as per below (with approved material/selected soil having CBR>6 for subgrade / embankment/any other filling as per site requirement) obtained from borrow pitsor any other approved source with all lifts and leads ,transporting to site ,cleaning and grubbing of area to be filled , surface dressing ,spreading , grading to required slopes, camber , watering, rolling and compacting by required Power / vibratory roller etc. as required, including dewatering at required low-lying areas all complete as per specifications and filling materials obtained as follows: 7 Note- 1) Contractor has to submit test reportof filling materials complying to parameters as mentioned above testedin NABL and NPCIL approved 3rd party labs at his own cost, prior to start of filling.2) Contractor has to carry out survey and leveling using total station, DGPSand prepare and submit longitudinal and cross section(at every 10 mtr. center to center and 2 mtr. spacing in transverse direction) profile in hard copy and in AUTO-CAD formatalong the entire length before starting any fillingand then after completion of filling and and comparison of before and after curves and road profile as per drawingin auto cad formatfor volumetric calculation including establishing of benchmarks at various points. 3) Contractor has to arrange for environmental clearance , all other statutory clearance from all concerned government agencies before start of filling work including payment of all charges , royalties etc. Any penalty arising on account of non compliance of government regulations shall be the responsibility of the contractor. 4) Payment will be on the basis of compacted volume at site complying to specifications 8 5) Contractor has to submit report ofNABLapproved 3rd party testing of compacted sub grade / embankment / shoulder / any other filling including determination of OMC and MDD by NABL approved lab and submission of reportfor compliance to field density and CBR value and requirements of table 300-1 and 300-2as per MORTH specification attached herewithbefore clearance is given for laying of GSB.Compacted Field density (as per IS 2720)and CBR shall be checked @ of 1 sample (comprising of 3 trials/specimen) (bysand replacement method for density and for CBR ) at every 1500 square mtr. and every second layer of filling (i.e. every 400 mm depth) . Only when required compliance is achieved for all the 3 samples, the 1500 sq. mtr shall be considered compacted for payment and further clearance of work. In case only one layer of filling is required ,then the same needs to be got verified by the contractor through NABL approved lab 6)Cleaning, grubbing, surface dressing ofarea to be filledis deemed to be included in the cost of filling work. No separate payment will be made for cleaning, grubbing, surface dressing of area to be filled. 9 Filling materials in layers of 200mm obtained / supplied by contractor from borrow area or any other approved source(except excavated from site) complying to above specifications, rolling, watering and compacting as mentioned above all complete.Note- Payment will be on the basis of compacted volume of earth at site. 10 Filling materials in layers of 200mm obtained and shifted by contractor from excavated materials obtained from item no. 2.1 of SOQR complying to above specifications, rolling , wateringand compacting as mentioned above.Note- Payment will be on the basis of compacted volume of earth at site. 11 Supplying and laying Bricks masonry using locally available approved brick (minimum compressive strength 70Kg/Sqcm) of uniform shape {average size- 225mm x 105mm x 65mm (± 5mm)} cement mortar 1-6 (Mix ratio of -One part Cement and Six part Sand)at all elevation including, simultaneous pointing below plinth level and racking out joints above ground level, curing etc. complete as per specifications. 12 Providing, Laying and Casting Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) of M10 grademinimum cement 220Kg/ CuMincluding all Formwork,Placing, Compacting by using suitable means such as surface vibrators, needle vibratorsetc.Curing by hessian , curing compound etc . and Finishingthe entire exposed surface all complteas per as perspecifications. Note: Contractor has to ensure availability of total station leveling machine with operator for verification of levelduring the work ofPCC of drain at his own cost. 13 Providing 15 mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1-4 (Mix ratio of -One part Cement and Four part Sand) to brick or concrete surface etc. including preparation of surface hacking, removing of loose materials, cleaning of joints, finishing curing complete all as per direction of EIC. including disposal of rubbish. 14 Supplying & Laying 80mm thick (± 3 mm) cement concreteinterlocking paver block of M-40 grade as per technical specification (minimum compressive strength as per M-40 grade& water absorbtion should not be more than 6% by mass) having smooth finish and of approved size and design/ shape laid in required colour and pattern over brick soling by providing 50mm thick compacted bed of Ganga Sand / Natural Sand / Other approved sand and filling the joints with same all complete as per the direction of Engineer - in - charge. Note- The manufacturer interlocking tiles should meet technical specifications requirements.Concrete testing lab facility is also required in manufacturersfactory. Each tile should be trade mark of manufacturer. 15 Supplying reinforcement steel bars as per IS-1786 of TATA, SAIL , VIZAG/RINL, JINDAL make , transporting and placing in positionfor all concrete including bending, cutting, binding fabricating, fixing, tying in position with 16 gauge wire soft draw binding wire with chairs, supports etc. complete as per specification including cost of binding wire as per specification. (Binding wire will not be measured for payment).Note:Tie rods, chairs , supports etc . will be considered for payment in this item. 16 Supplying structural steel flat, angle ,pipes, all sections etc. and fabrication with cutting, welding and fixing in position of all type structural steel as per direction of engineer including painting with two coat ofS.E. paint of make Berger Luxol / Asian apoclite / Nerolac - kansaiNerolac over one coat of red oxide primer for misc. structural steel fabrication work etc. complete. 17 Providing and fixing Black granite stone 18mm thick (Approx.) ofrequired size for Inauguration board with writing Golden colour letters 1 to 2 in height 75 Nos. (Approx.), maximum 1 Golden border all around complete as per requirement at various locations.Writing matter will be provided by NAPS. (Note- Brick pedestal for fixing Inauguration board will be made separately and paid in relevant items). 18 Construction of granular sub-base (GSB) by providing close graded Material ofrequired Grade conforming to table 400-1 and 400-2 of MORTH specifications, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at required moisture content determined as per clause 401 of MORTH specification , carriage of mixed materialto work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thicknessand compacting with vibratory roller or power roller in places of bituminous road construction and other locations where space permits use of such rollers and vibratory compactors at other locations where space for operating the rollers is not feasible as requiredto achieve the desired density, complete as per following: Note-1) Contractor has to submit test reportofmaterials complying to parameters as mentionedabovetestedin NABLapproved 3rd party labs at his own cost, prior to start of GSB laying. 2)Compacted Field density (as per IS 2720)shall be checked (sand replacement ) in the field. Contractor has to make arrangement for the same. 19 With material conforming to Grade- I /II of MORTH specification having CBR Value-30 as per above by spreading the material with motor grader/paver in layers as per drawing on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller etc. as required to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401 of attached MORTH specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge, all complete as per site requirement. Note-1) Compacted Field density (as per IS 2720) of GSB @ of 1 sample per layer (comprising of 3 trials/specimen)(bysand replacement) at every 1500 square mtr. Only when required compliance is achieved, the 1500 Sq. mtr. shall be considered compacted for payment and further clearance of work. Contractor has to arrange the equipment himself for the field testing of the same. 20 Providing and laying non-pressure 150mm dia NP2 class (light duty) R.C.C. pipes with collars jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2 (1 cement : 2 fine sand) including testing of joints etc. complete. 21 Supplying and laying Reinforced / unreinforced cement concrete grade M-25 machine batched and machine mixed with arrangement for conveying of concrete etc. M-25 grade concrete shall comprise of graded stone aggregate of 20 mm maximum size for different worksof RCC walls, slab, cover etc. including mixing,conveying using suitable means, consolidation, finishing, application of vibrator providing of cover block and curing casting of precast covers, keeping the precast covers in position, providing EP in concreteetc. as per drawings issue all complete.(Minimum cement content is 360 Kg/M3)as mentioned in Technical Specification. The design mix shall be obtained from approved NABL concrete testing lab as per IS:10262 and submitted to EIC before start of work. Admixture to be addedshall be complying to IS:9103. Note- 1) Steel reinforcement will be paid separately in relevant items. 2) Contractor has to submit NABL approved 3rd party report of cubes tested at 7 days and 28 days in timely manner, 30% payment for concrete shall be withheld and will be released only after submission of test reports indicating compliance to grade of concrete. Sampling frequency will as stipulated in technical specification. 3) It shall be ensured that while conveying concrete , segregation does not occur and height of free fall of concrete shall not be more than as allowed by IS 456. 4) Contractor has to ensure availability of total station leveling machine with operator for verification of levelduring the work ofconcreting of drain at his own cost. 22 Dismantling/breaking of existing plain cement concrete / brick work/WBM/any stone layercleaning of bricks etc. including removal of drain cover, stacking serviceable material and disposal of rubbishfor a lead of 15km. as directed by engineer. 23 Providing and laying Wet Mix base course Macadam (WMM) (as per MORTH specification attached in technical specification) in 2 layers using machine crushed chips as per required gradation premixed with required optimum quantity of water conveying the mix to site and spreading to grade and camber with mechanical grader/paver consolidated by vibratory road roller of 80 to 100 KN capacity or other roller as per specification to achieve density as per MORTH specification attached all completeincluding material, labour, plant and machinery and equipments etc. complete and as directed by Engineer in charge. Note-1) Compacted Field density (as per IS 2720) of WMM @ of 1 sample per layer (comprising of 3 trials/specimen)(bysand replacement) at every 1500 square mtr. shall be checked. Only when required compliance is achieved, the 1500 Sq. mtr. shall be considered compacted for payment and further clearance of work. Contractor has to arrange the equipment himself for the field testing of the same. 2) Contractor has to submit mix design of WMM from reputed Government university or private lab having NABL accreditation including determination of OMC etc. all complete. 24 Providing and applying primer coat using bituminous emulsion of grade SS-1 (Indian oil corporation, Hindustan Petroleum, Bharat Petroleum & Hincol ) (as per IS :8887) over prepared surface of WMM with a temperature between 20 - 60 deg. C and applying a uniform coat with the aid of self propelled bitumen pressure spraying bar with nozzles of constant volume of pressure system @10 Kg/10 Sqm including all materials, labour, machinery with all leads and lifts etc. complete (as per MORTH specification attached in technical specification) as directed by Engineer in charge. 25 Providing and applying Tack Coat just before placing DBM/BC over the dry and cleaned/prepared road surface using hot straight run bitumen of grade VG-10 Grade conforming to IS: 73from(Indian oil corporation, Hindustan Petroleum, Bharat Petroleum & Hincol) including heating the bitumen to specified temperature and liberally spraying with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler @ 0.30 Kg/Sqm. of surface all in lineas per MORTH specificationattached with technical specification and as per direction of Engineer & technical specification. 26 Providing & layingDense Bituminous Macadam (Consolidated) in layers of 50-100mm using bitumen of paving grade VG-30 (Indian oil corporation, Hindustan Petroleum, Bharat Petroleum & Hincol ) as per IS-73-2006,with aggregate as per MORTH specification, @ 45.00kg / M.T. i.e. 4.50 % of total mix, heating the aggregate and asphalt inhot mix plant and spreading the same by paver finisher and consolidation with vibratory roller, tandem roller, smooth wheeled roller, all complete as per MORTH specification attached in technical specification including rolling by pneumatic tyre roller of 12 -15 tonne weightand providing all material equipment, tools and plants, fire wood oil, kerosene, labour charges etc. complete using machinery hot mix plant, paver finisher etc. complete as directed by Engineer in charge. Note: (1) Design of mix to be obtained reputed Government university or private lab having NABL accreditation (2) Weight of each truck will be taken at IIIrd party weighing machine at contractors cost. 27 Providing and laying Bituminous concrete using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with paver finisherto the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory , tandem rollers and finally with 12-15 tonne weight pneumatic tyre roller to achieve the desired compaction and density completeas per MORTH specification attached in technical specification and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (1) Design of mix to be obtained reputed Government university or private lab having NABL accreditation (2) Weight of each truck will be taken at IIIrd party weighing machine at contractors cost. 28 40 mm compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-30 (Indian oil corporation, Hindustan Petroleum, Bharat Petroleum & Hincol) @ 5.5% (percentage by weight of total mix) and filler prepared in Hot Mix Plant. 29 Preparation and consolidation of existing sub grade / W.B.M/soil surface by power road roller of 8 to 12 tone capacity, vibratory roller etc. as required to achieve required compaction of sub grade in line with MORTH specification table 300-2,cleaning and grubbing as required , surface dressing ,dressing to camber, watering, consolidating with road roller including making good the undulations etc. and rolling the existing WBM/sub grade/soil surface to achieve the required compaction as per technical specification all complete as required. 30 Note: 1) Contractor has to carryout the testing of field dry density of soil/sub grade/stone layerbefore laying the GSB for bituminous road at his own cost @ 1 sample (comprising of 3 trials/specimen) (bysand replacement) at every 1500 square meters. Only if FDD >97 % of MDD is achieved, the 1500 square mtr. shall be considered compacted for payment and further clearance of work. Contractor has to arrange the equipment himself for the field testing of the same. 2) Contractor has to carry out determination of OMC and MDD of sub grade/ WBM / Stone layer/soil surface by NABL approved lab @ 1 sample (comprising of 3 trials/specimen) at every 1km for determination of OMC and MDD. 3) Cleaning, grubbing, surface dressing of area to be compactedis deemed to be included in the cost of excavation. No separate payment will be made for cleaning, grubbing, surface dressing of area to be compacted. 31 Breaking of RCC & cutting of reinforcement and disposal of all rubbish up to a lead of 15 Km. by tractor, trolley along with driver & required manpower will be provided by the contractor at his own cost all as per direction of EIC. 32 Providing and laying non-pressure 300mm dia NP2 class (light duty) R.C.C. pipes with collars jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2 (1 cement : 2 fine sand) including testing of joints etc. complete. 33 Providing and laying non-pressure 600mm dia NP2 class (light duty) R.C.C. pipes with collars jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2 (1 cement : 2 fine sand) including testing of joints etc. complete. 34 Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retro- reflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material with primerby thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispensor , heater ,etc all accessories, driven byoperator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications. 35 Providing, fixing and embedding in concrete 110 mm diaUPVC Pipes conforming to IS 13592 Type A in Drain wallsduring construction of drain walls, Pipes shall be placed as per specification and direction of Engineer-In-Charge. 36 Providing and preparing New Form-work using steel plates , timber planks, shuttering ply, steel supports, bamboos, battens etc . as per requirement for concreting including strutting, propping, staging , fixing,cutting of formwork in curvature as per drawing, and removal includingfinishing of concrete surface forwall, etc asdirected by engineer. Note: Tie rod used for form work will be paid in Re bar item for the length of tie rod which will remain inside concrete 37 Providing and fixing Glow studs of(Approx.) min. size 95mm x15 mm made of heavy duty body shall be moulded ASA (Acrylic styrene Acryloretrite) of HIP (High impact polystyrene) or ABS having electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating. The glow stud shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro-reflective surface shall be 35 (+/-5) degress to base. The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM I :809 as recommended in BS: 873 part 4 : 1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive. The studs shall beconforming to clause 804 of MORTH specification, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
