    Bids Are Invited For Repair, Maintenance, And Installation Of Plant/ Systems/Equipments (Version 2) - Icgs Vijit; E-259 Alternate 1500 Hourly Routine Falling Due On Da 02 Diesel Alternator Make Ms Cummins Pune Model Vt 28 D M Following Jobs Are To Be Undertaken Check Co.. REPAIRING OF DEFECTS ONBOARDICGS VIJIT E-259: Alternate 1500 Hourly routine falling due on DA-02 (Diesel Alternator, Make- M/s Cummins, Pune, Model-VT 28 D (M). Following jobs are to be undertaken: (a) Check coolant concentration and add additives, if needed. Alternatively drain and flush cooling system and refill with new premixed coolant. (b) Check vacuum indicator and replace air filter based on its condition. (c) Adjust tappets and injectors clearance. (d) Replace valve cover gasket. (e) Check vibration damper for any visual damage/ deformation. Replace if required. (f) Check and record engine crankshaft end plays [Limit 0.006” (0.15 mm)/ 0.013” (0.33)]. (g) Check and record engine turbocharger axial play [ Limit 0.001” (0.0025 mm)- 0.004” (0.10 mm)] and radial play [Limit 0.007” (0.17 mm)- 0.02” (0.50 mm)]. (h) Check condition of all clamps and hoses. Replace if needed. (j) Check for any leakage in lube oil and coolant lines and correct them. (k) Check engine alternator alignment and correct if needed. (l) Check all wiring connection for any abnormalities, correct if required. (m) Check sea water pump and fresh water pump. Overhaul if needed. (n) Chemically clean fresh water cooler (coolant heat exchanger) and pressure test. (p) Check air starting motor. (q) All safeties, alarms and trips to be checked for satisfactory operations. (r) Start engine and carry out trials on designed load. Record all parameters. Total Quantity :
