Upkeepment of Electrical and allied installation with provision of materials and manpower at the District Registrar Office with allied area, Barasat, North 24 Parganas. -- Attendant for One no 13 Passenger Lift for the period of one year.- 1 Day to day operation of existing 1 (One) no. 13 persons (884kg load) Bed cum passenger fully automatic type (G+4) Lift by deputing one no semiskilled manpower at the Office of the District Registrar, Barasat, North 24 Parganas as Specified in Terms & Conditions. 2 TERMS AND CONDITION:a) Total one (01) nos. Lift to be operated by 01(one) Person for 1 (one) Shift. Including Saturday, Sunday and holidays b) The lift operator/attendant should have a sound knowledge with valid lift operator license issued by the Licensing Board, Govt. of West Bengal.c) The operator/attendant should be obliging dutiful and polite to all while on duty. In case any irregularities of duty or complain against the operator/attendant if noticed, would be withdrawn forthwith and shall be replaced by new operator.d) The report is to be submitted periodically about the working of lift incl. all safety devices and Governor to the concerned JE/AE.d) The report is to be submitted periodically about the working of lift incl. all safety devices and Governor to the concerned JE/AE.e) Agency must have to produce the list of the staff mentioning their Name, contact Mobile No.in writing with proper identity and address proof & their Valid lift operator license issued by the Licensing Board, Govt. of West Bengal along with photo copy to the concerned JE & AE before commencing the work. This should be treated as mandatory. 3 f) The agency will have to provide proper dress for his staff and color of the dress will be decided by this department. No staff will be allowed for performing duty without proper dress.g) The agency will issue a photo Identity Card, duly signed by the agency and countersigned by the concerned JE / AE to all the operation Staffs deployed including substitutes. They should always carry the said Photo Identity Card while on duty. The agency should also submit one copy of the said Identity Cards to the JEh) The agency shall have to prepare a Duty Roster of the operation Staff at the beginning of every month, or as directed from time to time. A copy of the said Duty Roster, duly signed by all staffs, should be submitted to the concerned JE. 4 i) The agency must have separate contact telephone numbers with Mobile Nos. for his office and Supervisor deputed at worksite so that the agency may be communicated in case of any urgency and the same should be intimated to the E.I.C., A.E. & J.E concerned, in writing. The telephone call should be responded without delay.j) The lift enclosure to be kept clean (not sweepers works) regularly by the operator.k) The operational work of the lift is to be supervised directly under the supervision of technical staff of the contractors under the direct control of JE/AE concerned. The contractor shall be responsible for any damage to the lift due to mishandling, loss will be recovered from the contractors bill as per direction of EIC 5 l) The Log Book recording regarding functioning and breakdown of the lift is to be maintained at site by the contractor under supervisions of JE concerned. If any kind of trouble arises, it should be brought to the notice of JE, AE concerned immediately. The JE/AE would put their signature on log book making note on performance.m) In case of any absence of operator, the lift is to be made operative within 2 hours by placing the new operator. In case of absence prorate deduction will be made from the contractors bill and the contract may be terminated if it exceeds 3 (three) days. In this respect Executive Engineer’s decision will be final. 6 n) This department would not be held responsibility for any accident of the liftman on duty for any reasons. The contractor or their lift operators on duty would not claim any compensation in any shape from this department for such accident.o) The Executive Engineer, Kolkata South Health Electrical Division, P.W.Dte. would have sole authority to cancel the contract without assigning any reason with a notice of one month only.p) Any conditional quotation offered would not be accepted.q) Any quotation offered with price variation clause would not be accepted. 7 q) The payment will be made monthly/quarterly on submission of bill in triplicate by the agency with satisfactory report regarding performance by the concerned JE/AE. Copy of log book has to be enclosed with the bill.r) Persons entrusted by the agency for operation of lift should wear photo Identity Card during duty hours.s) Documentary evidence in support of payment of minimum wages as per Labour Act to be produced to the Principal Employer i.e. Executive Engineer, Suburban Electrical Division, PWD in-charge of works.t) Rescue operation is in the scope of agency in case of exigency arises out of lifts getting stopped in between landing floors with passengers inside cage.
