(Make Bir/Upadhayay/Sant as approved by GE )Note :- (i) Joints of the non return valve shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate items of Schedule ‘A’ 38 Supply, installation, fixing, jointing and testing, ISI Marked, of approved quality, size 100 mm cast iron Butter fly valve both ends flangedand tested complete all as specified and directed. 39 Material and labour for rubber gasket joints in flanged end cast iron pipes and fittings complete with and including minimum 3 mm thick rubber /fibre gasket and necessary nuts/bolts/washers all as specified and directed for following sizes:- (a) 100mm bore 40 (b) Ditto as per item no. 39 above but 80 mm bore 41 Burring out run lead jointof 100 mm CI pipe line all as specified and directed:- (Note: Lead shall be recovered by burning out joints carefully from the existing joints of the water mains and shall be the contractor’s property and credit recovery shall be made for the same) 42 M & L for run lead joints for water supply CI pipe of size 100mm, complete all as specified by Engr-in-charge. 43 M&L for Cutting of the existing 100mm bore CI pipe line for rectifying leakage and reducing to required length, in position, for insertion of collars or other fittings including dewatering etc complete all as specified anddirected. 44 Ditto as per item No 43 above but size 80mm bore 45 Material and labour for fabricating and fixing on pipe line mild steel clamps of flat iron made to shape alongwith nuts, bolt washers etc suitable for pipe line all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge for stopping leaking of pipe lines of any description and in any position clamps shall be shape and size as approved, tightened with suitable nuts, bolts washers as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: - (i) Weight of clamps including nuts, bolts and washer shall be measured for payment purpose.(ii)Clamp shall be tightened with using suitable rubber washers.(iii)Clamp shall be provided with two coats of black bituminous paints over a coat of red oxide primer after preparation of surface. 46 Material and labour for construction of brick masonry valve pit /chamber complete with 3mm thick MS sheet cover with locking arrangement of size 600mm x 600mm x 600mm(depth) (internal dimensions) as shown on Drg No CWE /TD/129 sheet No 1/1 dated 18.12.87 with and including necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil including dismantling & breaking down the existing valve pit chamber of any size and any shape complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 64 above but capacity 50000 Gallons 66 Lifting from bore well and Disconnecting the existing non functional submersible pump set from supply, dismantling existing CI bend from non return valve, removing and lifting out submersible pump set of any description and capacity & in any position, alongwith existing column pipe and existing submersible cable of any size from the bore well (approximately 40 mtr depth of pump set from GL) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.NOTE: -Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable.All necessary T&P and equipment required for lifting out pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. 67 Dismantling and strip opening of submersible pump & motor of any description and in any position for servicing /overhauling, cleaning, Engineer-in-Charge. 70 Supply and replacing the following unserviceable items/parts Gun metal bush, neck ring, impeller, spacer and pump key for multistage submersible pump of any description, 10 to 25 HP capacity, all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge 71 M&L for taking out & removing old burnt out windings of the submersible electric motors of following capacity and rewinding of submersible electric motors with existing size PVC insulated, copper conductor as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge including cleaning the slots with carbon- tetra-chloride solution before rewinding ,transportation to site, fixing etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge:-(a) 10 to 25 HP, three phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, AC supply 72 Lowering down in bore well of the submersible pump set after repair of any description and any capacity & in any position, in bore well alongwith column pipe and submersible cable of any size (approximately 40 mtr depth of pump set from GL) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge including making necessary electric connections & testing the pump set after lowering.NOTE:-Contractor shall take proper precautions while lowering pump set in bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable.All necessary T&P and equipment required for lifting out pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. 73 Dismantling/taking down of existing dosingpump with connecting accessories and repair/replacement with plastic shaft and impeller all as per existing make and model of unserviceable/worn out granular chlorination, high pressure, single head, gear motored adjustable dosing pump having out put 0 to 5 ltrs per hour, adjustable high pressure upto 10kg/sqcm with and including level gauge, agitator 120 watt 900RPM, single mounted motor with plastic shaft and impeller complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 74 Dismantling the complete pump set of capacity 10HP from foundation channel after disconnecting all inlet and outlet connections, carrying the same to workshop, dismantling of pump, cleaning thoroughly and taking down worn out parts such as Ball bearing, Impeller, rubber coupling, bushes, brass ring, studs, replacement of the same with new, lath work of pump shaft, impeller if required, reassembling, commissioning and testing after fixing on original site for smooth functioning up to the entire satisfaction of Engine-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed. 75 Dismantling the electric motor induction motorassembly of pump set of capacity10 HP from the foundation after disconnecting the electric connection, carrying the same to workshop, dismantling of electric motorand taking down worn out windings of rotor field coils and excitor coils, rewinding the startor, rotor and excitor gauge, replacement of insulation material, heat varnishing provision of connecting leads and terminal plates etc to make the electric motorfully serviceable, reassembling the motor shifting back to the installation, assembling the same with engine making electric connections, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 76 S&F in repairs 10 Sqmm, 3 Core, flat submersible Cable, PVCinsulated, PVC
