White / Colour Wash And Painting Work In Departments At Iit Roorkee.; 1 Providing and applying plaster of paris putty of 2 mm thickness over plastered surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete 2 Finishing walls with water proofing cement paint of required shade : 3 New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.84 kg/10 sqm) 4 Finishing walls with textured exterior paint of required shade : 5 New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.28 ltr/10 sqm) over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20kg/10 sqm 6 Applying priming coat : 7 With ready mixed red oxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacture on steel galvanised iron/ steel works 8 French spirit polishing : 9 Two or more coats on new works including a coat of wood filler 10 Polishing on wood work with ready mixed wax polish of approved brand and manufacture : 11 New work 12 Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete 13 Applying priming coats with primer of approved brand and manufacture, having low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content 14 With ready mixed pink or grey primer on wood work (hard and soft wood) having VOC content less than 50 grams/ litre 15 With water thinnable cement primer on wall surface having VOC content less than 50 grams/litre 16 Painting (one or more coats) on rain water, soil waste and vent pipes and fittings with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture and required colour on old work : 17 75 mm diameter pipes 18 100 mm diameter pipes 19 150 mm diameter pipes 20 Painting with aluminium paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade 21 One or more coats on old work 22 Polishing on wood work with ready made wax polish of approved brand and manufacture : 23 Old work 24 Finishing walls with water proofing cement paint of required shade : 25 Old work (one or more coats applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm) over priming coat of primer applied @ 0.80 litrs/10 sqm complete including cost of Priming coat. 26 Old work (one or more coats @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm) complete. 27 Renewing glass panes, with putty and nails wherever necessary including racking out the old putty: 28 Float glass panes of nominal thickness 4 mm (weightnot less than 10kg/sqm) 29 Float glass panes of nominal thickness 5 mm (weightnot less than 12.5kg/sqm 30 Renewing glass panes, with wooden fillets wherever necessary: 31 Float glass panes of nominal thickness 4 mm (weightnot less than 10kg/sqm) 32 Float glass panes of nominal thickness 5 mm (weightnot less than 12.5kg/sqm) 33 Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. Note: - This item to be used for maintenance work judicially, necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done. 34 Providing & Applying high quality acrylic modified resin based texture of Dholpur/Red sand stone Pattern with anti algae and UV resistance properties to be applied as intermediate finish in desired pattern @ 43.04 kg/10 sqm to form film of 1- 1.5 mm thickness after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles from the plaster surface, followed by top coating with Premium Acrylic Smooth exterior paint with Silicone additives of required shade by two or more coats @ 1.43 litre/10 sqm, complete as the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. 35 Providing, mixing and applying 12 mm thick ready mix cement plaster of approved makeas per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. 36 Providing, mixing and applying 15 mm thick ready mix cement plaster of approved makeas per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. 37 Finishing walls with ready mixed Premium exterior acrylic emulsion paint (Company Depot Tinted) havingVOClessthan50gm/litreandUVresistanceasperIS15489:2004, Alkali&fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shadewith silicon additives and applying two or more coats with fully automatic airless spraying machine on new work including priming coat of exterior primer. 38 Wall painting with fully automatic airless sprayer machine of acrylic emulsion paint of interior grade, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content less than 50 grams/ litre, of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required, to achieve even shade and colour with one coat. 39 Wall painting with fully automatic airless sprayer machine of acrylic emulsion paint of interior grade, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content less than 50 grams/ litre, of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required, to achieve even shade and colour with two coats. 40 Wallpaintingwithfully automatic airless sprayer machine of premiumacrylicemulsionpaintofinteriorgrade,havingVOC(Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour with one coat. 41 Wallpaintingwithfully automatic airless sprayer machine of premiumacrylicemulsionpaintofinteriorgrade,havingVOC(Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour with two coats. 42 Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of approved brand and manufacture of required shade using fully automatic airless spraying machine on old work one or more coats. 43 Finishing walls with Premium Acrylic Smooth exterior paint with Silicone additives of approved brand and manufacture of required shade using fully automatic airless spraying machine on old work two or more coats. 44 Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade with fully automatic airless spraying machine on old work one or more coats. 45 Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade with fully automatic airless spraying machine on New work two or more coats. 46 Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of approved brand and manufacture of required shade using fully automatic airless spraying machine on new work two or more coats including priming coat of exterior primer. 47 Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of approved brand and manufacture of required shade using fully automatic airless spraying machine on old work two or more coat. 48 Distempering with roller of 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 gram/ litre, of approved brand and manufacturerincluding applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour on old work (one or more coats) 49 Distempering with roller of 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) having VOC content less than 50gram/litre,ofapprovedmanufacturerandofrequiredshadeandcolourallcompleteto achieve even shade and colour :New work (two or more coats) over and including water thinnable priming coat with cement primer having VOC content less than50 gram/litre 50 Removing existing painting surface and the like by scrapping with wall sander machine and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches after removal of all dust and dirt by using air blower or water jet etc. all complete as per direction of Engineer in Charge.
