    Tender For Purchase Of Machine For Electrolytic Thinning Of Metals Or Twin-Jet Electropolisher For & On Behalf Of Sric Iit Kharagpur Main System The system should have a control unit and a polishing unit, compatible with each other, for electrolytic thinning of metal discs to produce a hole/perforation at the centre, for TEM studies. 2. Control Unit 2.1 The voltage range should be 20 to 100 V or wider 2.2 The current range should be 10 to 100 mA or wider 2.3 The control unit should allow automatic optimization of the current-voltage parameter for polishing 2.4 The electrolyte flow rate should be adjustable 2.5 The control unit should have a digital display of current, voltage, electrolyte temperature, and elapsed thinning time. 2.6 The control unit should automatically terminate the polishing after creating a perforation on a sample. 3. Polishing Unit 3.1 Pump, motor, and cooling coil/tube to circulate the electrolyte3.2 Two jets with 2.5 mm and 1 mm bore diameter 3.3 The system allows polishing of the sample on both sides simultaneously 3.4 Suitable containers (insulated and non-insulated PVC) to keep the electrolyte during the process 3.5 The system should allow polishing in the temperature range of − 40 °C to 30 °C or wider. 3.6 The system sh
