| 1 | Cleaning the septic tank/ sludge chamber of any depth/ area/ condition incl taking out stagnated sludge or any other material mixed with the sludge etc. deposited in the septic tanks, filling in closed container and depositing in excavated pit, covering the pit at least 500m beyond nearby living accn or area as marked by station controlling authority with earth after depositing sludge, sprinkling fresh lime on covered pit and around septic tanks/ soakage wells to make it hygienic complete all as specified and directed.Note:- (i) Cost of pumping with mechanical sewage pump, excavation of earth pit and fresh lime shall be deemed to include in the rate quoted. (ii) Charges of covered container incl its transportation shall be deemed to include in the rate quoted. (iii) Depth of liquid sludge in the septic tank will be determined and recorded before commencement of work by any Engg conventional method in the presence of Engr-in charge and Contractor. |
| 2 | Comprehenshive maintenance and cleaning of sewage system including sewage lines, manholes, soakage wells/soak-pits, gully traps, septic tanks attending bloakages in WCs/ WHBs/Drains etc by employing necessary resources including T&P, complete all as specified and directed. The location/ building/complex where work is to be carried out consist of the following:-(a) All OTM and Md Accn at Jutogh Cantt. .Notes:- (i) The Contractor will employe a Supervisor. The Supervisor so employed shall report to the concerned JE daily to give feed back and also to receive day to day sewage complaints and necessary instructions for smooth running of the contract. (ii) He will carry out normal maintenance to sewage system as required at site. (iii) For any default/delay in attending the complaints recovery shall be effected as per contract conditions provided here-in-after. (iv) T & P as requiered for the work shall be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost to the deptt. (v) Supervisor engaged by the contractor shall take all necessary preventative safety measures and adequate precautions to avoid any health hazard and department shall not be held responsible for any unwanted incidence. |

(ii) The minimum output of brush cutter for one day is 150 Sqm, hence area of 150 Sqm will be after removal of spoil up to the entire satisfaction.(iii) Site for brush/grass cutting will be given by MES authority as per their requirement through out the contract period. |
