Tender For Repair Of Expansion Joints In Oils And Lipids Laboratory At Csir-Iict, Hyderabad. - Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.In cement mortar 2 Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix) 3 Disposal of moorum/building rubbish/ malba/ similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste material by mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground for lead upto 20 km for all lifts, complete as per directions of Engineer-in-charge. Note - item to be applicable in urban areas having directions for restricted hours for movement/ plying of load carrying motor vehicle of 3.5 cum or more. 4 Providing and laying expansion Joint Teatment making 25 mm groove using Levelling chemical Mortar with Polymer materials and fixing the Backer rod of 40/50mm dia.filling the Groove with PU Sealant of size; 40nmmx15mmApplication of Water Guarda.Application of one coat of Water Guard Acrylic polymer modified cementious slurry coating over the RCC mother slab surface after saturating the surface with water and continuing the coating up to the width of 400mm. b.Laying Fleece over the Water Guard applied surface upto convertion of green colour.c.Fixing the Backer rod of 40/50mm diad. Application of second coat of WATER GUARD-Acrylic Polymer Modified cementitious and brush topping over the Fleece cloth laid surfacee. Re-concreting the width of 300mm with M25 grade concrete by leaving Groove of 25mm. It shall be RMC/ MANUAL MIX to match existing flooringApplication of PU/polysulphide sealent Fixing the Backer rod of 25mm dia and filling the Groove with PU/polysulphide Sealant of size; 25mmx12mm and application of waterproofing primer on entire surface. Laying ofAPP waterproofing membrane of 4.0 mm thick and Aluminum paint shall be coated and fixing the new Aluminium 200mm wide sheet to protect the entire expansion joint. Necessary tests like pond test or any etc., shall be done. It includes all leads and lifts and disposal of old unserveceable material to outside IICT campus as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.A minimum warranty period of three years shall be applicable to this item of work.Note: This item of work shall be carried out with exclusively authorised applicators. 5 Providing and laying Vertical Expansion Joint Teatment to building and removal of old damaged waterproofing membrane and GI sheet for the joint and removal of damaged portion from the grove Making 25mm groove with levelling chemical Mortar/Polymer mortar with Fixing the Backer rod of 40/50mm dia and filling the Groove with PU/polysulphide Sealant of size 25mmx15 mmApplication Water Guardi) Application of one coat of Water Guard Acrylic polymer modified cementious slurry coating over the RCC mother slab surface after saturating the surface with water and continuing the coating up to the width of 400mm ii) Laying Fleece over the Water Guard applied surface when the coating is converts to greeniii) Application of second coat of WATER GUARD-Acrylic Polymer Modified cementitious material with brush topping over the Fleece cloth laid surface. Laying of 4.0mm thick APP membrane with aluminium paint coating and fixing the new Aluminium 200mm wide sheet to protect the entire expansion joint. It includes scaffolding, formwork etc., complete and disposal of old unserveceable material to outside IICT campus and all leads andlifts as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. A minimum warranty period of three years shall be applicable to this item of work.Note: This item of work shall be carried out with exclusively authorised applicators.
