Tender For Construction Of Lift Well Pit In Bagging Plant At Fact (Cochin Division), Ambalamedu, Kochi. - Providing and fixingdouble scaffolding systemfor all type of works using 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal& vertical joining with cup & lock system including necessaryworking platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners,connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge (The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding). 2 Providing, fabricating & erecting temporary supports to the structural members like beams, slabs etc. to relieve the load on the members during breaking of damaged concrete, removal guiniting, excavation or any dismantling work as per the instruction of engineer incharge/consultant. These supports shall be provided either in the form of props or trestles fabricated using structural steel(with horizontal and inclined mebers as bracing) as per the requirement or by load bearing jackey and as per the instruction of EIC/Consultant. Item rate is inclusive of the materials, all labour, supervision, tools and tackles and transportation & taking away scrap etc., complete as per specification and as directed by EIC : MS props 3 Chipping & removing old cement plastered surface including racking out joints & clearing the surface for replastering & disposal of the debris as per directions within a distance of 150 m. 4 Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer- In-Charge-75mm average thickness 5 Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer- In-Charge-50mm average thickness 6 Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer- In-Charge-25mm average thickness 7 Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in charge.In cement mortar. 8 Demolishing C.C/ R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of engineer - in- charge. 9 Disposal of building rubbish/ malba /similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 1500 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved. 10 Dismantling and removing doors with or without ventilators including removal of shutters, hinges, holdfast and all other fittings and stacking materials as per deptl.instructions 11 Dismantling and removing windows/ventilators/shelves/cup boards/AC frames etc including removal of shutters, hinges, holdfasts and all other fittings and stacking materials as per deptl.instructions 12 Dismantling the existing structural carefully without damaging the remaining portions including conveying and stacking at places pointed out & removal of debris if any within a lead of 150 m. 13 Dismantling AC / GI / Tufflite / Aluminium/Zincalum sheet roofing, side cladding etc and depositing the debris away from plant limit within a distance of 150 m. 14 Anchoring rebar after placing in position and inserting into the holes drilled and grouted using the grout manufactured by HILTI or equivalent make for beams as directed by the engineer-in-charge. Rate shall include supply ofallmaterials (except reinforcement rods), conveyance, all charges forcleaning the surface, ,drilling holes, fixing rebar, groutingetc, at all levels by Hilti authorized personnel (reinforcement rods will be paid in separate item) with- 16mm dia rebar of 273mm development depth using chemical RE-500 V3 15 Earth work excavation in all classes of soil including narrickal but excluding hard rock which require blasting including back filling in basement & sides of foundation, depositing on bank within an initial lead of 50 m including breaking clods, watering, ramming and sectioning of spoil bank etc.complete- Up to 1.5 m depth from ground level. 16 Reinforcement Cleaning: Cleaning reinforcement of total rust by tapping or using wire brush or any other suitable way including from behind and around the reinforcement bars to give it a totally rust free finished steel surface. 17 Rust Removal: Providing and applying approved alkaline chemical rust remover with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application. 18 Anticorrosive Treatment to Steel:Providing and applying single coat of zinc rich anti corrosive coating such as nitozinc primer in 40 micron thickness to the exposed reinforcing bars after application of alkaline rust remover on main and lateral links all complete as directed by EIC. 19 Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete,excluding cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement -All work up to plinth level: 1:1.5:3 (l cement : 1.5 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources). 20 Reinforced cement concrete work in walls (any thickness),including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses ,filltes, columns,pillars,piers,abutments,posts and struts,etc.,above plinth level up to floor five level,excluding cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - 1:1.5:3 (l cement : 1.5 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources). 21 Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening,cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete above plinth level.Thermo Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more. 22 Providing and applying bond coat on the prepared surface toreceive new polymer mortar/polymermodified concrete, with two componentsepoxy based bonding coat Concresive1414 of BASF/Nitobond EP of Fosroc orequivalent material in one full coat.Laying of reinstatement polymer mortaror micro concrete shall be completedwithin the overlay time of bonding coat.This bond coat act as bonding agentbetween old and new concrete. Item rate inclusive of all materials, labours, supervision, tools, tackles, etc., complete as per specification and as directed.(a) For Built up thickness of 20 mm (incl.+5mm) 24 Providing and laying of polymer modified single component, alkaline resistant fibre reinforced, duel shrinkage-compensated, thixotropic, cementations patch repair mortar Emaco S48CT of BASF/ Renderoc SP 40 of Fosroc or equivalent material that achieves compressive strength of 35 MPa at 7 days and finishing with trowel carefully compacting the same around the rebars and finishing to bring it in line with existing concrete surface on the beams, slabs. pile caps etc., where the thickness of application is less than 50mm in patches as per specification after applying bonding coat (bonding coat shall be payable separately). MasterFlow 935 of BASF / Lokfix P25 of Fosroc or equivalent. 26 Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for :Foundations,footings,bases of columns etc for mass concrete. 27 Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for :Walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, butteresses, plinth and string courses etc. 28 Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for :Suspended floors,roofs,landings balconies and access platform. 29 Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for :Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers. 30 Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for :Columns, Pillars, Piers, Abutments, Posts and Struts. 31 Polymer Modified Micro- Concrete: Providing and laying of polymer modified micro- concrete like Emaco S46 T of BASF/Renderoc RG (S)of Fosroc/ReCon MC 40 of Conmix or equivalent material blended with washed, saturated surface-dry (SSD), graded, low absorption, high density aggregates of size 8 mm & below up to 30% by weight of micro-concrete and water at 4 lit. per 25 kg bag and pouring into the form work using suitable pumping device for uniform flow of concrete. The side shuttering can be removed after 3 days and the bottom shuttering after 7 days ensuring proper bond between the micro concrete and existing concrete substrate. G.I. plain and bitumen washers or with self drilling fastener and EPDM washers etc. complete (excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses), including cutting sheets to size and shape wherever required 44 Providing corrugated serrated adjustble ridges or hips in Non- asbestos fibre cement high impact polypropylene reinforced roofing with suitable fixing accessories or self drilling fastener and EPDM washer , etc. complete as per instructions. 45 Providing and fixing on wall face unplasticised Rigid PVC rain water pipes conforming to IS : 13592 Type A, including jointing with seal ring conforming to IS : 5382, leaving 10 mm gap for thermal expansion at all levels.110mm diameter pipe. 46 Supplying. Conveying, fabricating and fixingMSinserts plate, angle inserts, MSinserts ofalltypes fabricated out ofMSplates, angles,channels,flats,rods,fabricated pieces,etc.embedding in RCC/ masonry worksatalllevels includingall charges forcutting,welding of lugs,fixingto lines andlevelsand hot dip galvanized conforming to IS 4759 and further coated with one coat of yellow zinc chromate primer and two coats of anticorrosive bitumen black paint etc complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge 47 Waterproofing of Roof :- (Elastomeric Water proofing)i) Surface preparation by suitable means to remove laitance, loose particles, debris,weather prrof course etc.ii) All pipe penetration shall be sealed with polymer modified mortar (PMM).iii) Necessary coving the corners of walls, bore packing with SBR latex mortar, any cracks treatment with low viscous epoxy injection resin on places wherever required.iv) Saturate the surface with clean water before application of waterproof coating system. Once water get dried off apply two coats of highly acrylic elastomeric waterproof coating system on to the entire surface and allow to cure by itself. Rate of application of acrylic elastomeric waterproof coating system shall be as per manufacturer specification. 48 Protect the waterproofing membrane coating with protective concrete screed (1:1.5:3) of average 50mm thick made to proper slope for water outway and compacting using power floating machine as per direction of EiC. The rate shall be inclusive of labour, machinery and material. 49 Providing and placing in position suitable PVC water stops confirming to IS:12000 for construction /Expansion joints between two RCC members and fixed to the reinforcement with binding wire before pouring concrete etc., complete:Dumb bell with central bulb (180mm wide,8mm thick).
