furrowing the under layer with scratching tool,applying cement slurry on the under layer @ 3 Kg of cement per square metre,top layer 15mm cement plaster using white cement in place of ordinary cement in the top layer of the item of washed marbal chips grit plaster 1:1/2(1cement:1/2 coarse sand:2 marbal chipping 10mm nominal size) in panels with groove all around as per approved pattern including scrubbing and washing,the top layer with brushes and water to expose the stone chippings complete all as specified & directed. (Payment for providing rgooves shall be made separately). 37 M & L for forming groove of uniform size 15mm wide and 15mm deep in the top layer of washed stone grit plaster as per approved pattern using wooden battens,nailed to the under layer including removalof wooden battens,repair to the edges of panels and finishing the groove complete all as specified & directed. 38 M&L for Framed work such as grills, gratings etc., with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forget into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work and for portions framed and hung as gates, including pintle hinges, stops, hand-made sliding bolts, etc. conforming to Fe 290 Gde-165,complete all as specified and directed 39 M & L for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed. 40 (xi) All existing earthing of the lifts shall be maintained and made fully functional by the contractor to the entire satisfaction of the Engr-in-Charge.
