Tender For Procurement Of Survey For Data Collection For Crn Roads Of 6000Km - Deflection test using Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) on existing flexible/Rigid pavement covering main carriageway including submission of processed data in prescribed formats in Bid Document 3 Flexible Pavement as per IRC 115 4 Rigid Pavement as per IRC 117 5 Trail Pit- collection of subgrade soil samples by open trial pit and testing of subgrade soil samples and full depth bituminous 4-inch cores by core cutting 6 Bituminous core cutting and Subgrade Soil Sample Collection by open trial pit at suitable intervals/locations as instructed by the client including submission of pavement crust details, strength parameters from Trial Pit and CBR parameters of Sub grade soil in prescribed formats provided in the bid document. All operations shall be carried out in accordance with relevant provisions of IRC:SP:19, IRC:SP:89, and IRC:37 for pavement evaluation and investigation methods. 7 Core Cutting 8 Trial Pit 9 NSV Survey 10 Conducting Network Survey using a fully equipped Network Survey Vehicle (NSV) integrated with LCMS (Laser Crack Measurement System) and other advanced sensors – for capturing road centerline data (segmented as per client requirement) in shapefile format with all required attribute fields; submission of pavement condition data, pavement inventory, road geometry, and roadside asset inventory; capturing geo-tagged high-resolution digital images at every 10-meter chainage and continuous video footage in the specified formats in the ToR; including chainage marking using a calibrated walking profilometer on-site at every 200-meter interval, geo-tagged to a spatial accuracy of 3 cm, and submission of chainage data for the entire road network in the specified format in the bid document; inclusive of the supply of necessary storage devices for data transfer and licensed software for accessing and viewing imagery and metadata 11 Conduction of NSV Survey for each Lane Km including Chainage marking for Network Length with Profilometer with Data Submission 12 Traffic Survey & Axle Load 13 Conduction of Videographic Traffic Survey using automated video data collection and processing tools – at identified locations as instructed by the client, including continuous classified traffic count for 3 consecutive days (24x7) for each traffic station; processing of video footage to extract vehicle classification data (as per defined vehicle categories), and submission of traffic count data along with video footage and access to processing software and geo-referenced traffic station details in the prescribed formats in the bid document. Each unit shall cover a group of minimum 3 traffic stations (typically covering all the stations with a maximum 4 roads per group, maximum 360 such stations) 14 Conduction of Axle Load Survey at locations identified and instructed by the client – including deployment of suitable axle load measuring equipment (preferably portable Weigh-in-Motion (WIM) systems or static weighing pads), collection of axle load data for different vehicle classes, and processing of data for computation of Axle Load , Vehicle Damage Factor (VDF) etc. The processed data shall be submitted in the prescribed format provided in the bid document, for each survey location. All activities shall be carried out in accordance with the guidelines and procedures outlined in IRC:SP:19-2001 (Manual for Survey, Investigation and Preparation of Road Projects) and IRC:37-2018 (Guidelines for the Design of Flexible Pavements). 15 Skid Resistance 16 Conducting Skid Resistance Test on road pavement surfaces using a Portable Skid Resistance Tester (British Pendulum Tester) in accordance with IRC:82 ,ASTM-E 303-1978 – including surface preparation, testing at regular intervals as specified (typically every 200 m or as per client requirement), and recording Skid Resistance Value (SRV) or British Pendulum Number (BPN) with proper chainage referencing; complete with deployment of calibrated equipment, trained personnel, and submission of detailed test reports including photographs and GPS location data, in the format prescribed in the Bid Document – All as per relevant IRC standards and specifications
