Tender For Upgradation Of Electrical Sub Stn Under Ge Nagrota.; 1 Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 11 KV, 630A, 21KA for 3sec, SF6 insulated chamber with one LBS + 2 VCBs, manual spring charged, outdoor type, Right side extensible RMU type, tested in line with latest IEC standards. The RMU shall be suitable for operations at a height up to 1000 meters above sea level and at 40 degree ambient temperature without any derating. The switchgear and busbar shall all be contained in a stainless steel enclosure filled with SF6 at 0.3 bar (300 hPa) relative pressure. The RMU tank shall provide full insulation, making the switchgear insensitive to the environment with degrees of protection of IP67. The switchgear operating mechanism shall have an IP2X protection and cable chamber shall have IP3X. Over all IP protectionshall be IP55.Accidental overpressure due to an internal arc is limited by the opening of the safety valve, at the bottom of the metal enclosure, away from the operator. An operator situated in front, lateral (A-FLR 21KA – 1sec, downwards exhaust,for tank as well as cable compartment) of the RMU switchboard during an internal fault will not be exposed to the effects of arcing. Internal Arc Type Test Report for IAC AFL R21 KA for 1 sec for both tank & cable box should have been for minimum 3 way / 3 Function RMU. Plug in type of extensibility must be provided and coupling busbar should not be exposed to air to avoid oxidation of busbars. Extension of cubicle should only require 450mm to handle and the gap between the coupled RMU’s must be within 10mm. All operations shall be from front of the RMU, including access to cable bushings. Cable bushings along the sides or the rear of the RMU are not acceptable. 2 11kV, 3 Way Ring Main Units one LBS +2 VCB + Bus metering panel Each of the above Ring Main Unit shall comprise of the followings:(i). Load Break Switch (LBS) (one No each comprising of the following:(a) 11 KV, 630A, 21KA for 3sec manual spring charged mechanism, Load break switch; with built in line side manual earth switch. Earthing should be completed within 2 operations only(i.e 1. Main switch - OFF, 2 Earth switch - ON). LBS shall have 3 positions, open or disconnected, closed & earthed, and will be constructed in such a way that interlocking prevents unauthorized operations. For earth switch, manual opening and closing will be driven by a fast-acting /snap action mechanism, independent of operator action. LBS and earth switch shall have a min of 1000 (M1) mechanical operations and 5 No closing operations at rated SC current. LBS should have 100 electrical operations at rated current -01 No(b) Position indicator through clear front mimic in line with IEC 62271-103 - 01 No(c) Live cable indicator with indications (Voltage Presence Indicator) at the front and three inlets provision to check the synchronization of phases. VPI should be of same make as that of RMU -01 No(d) Cable box with termination bushing suitable for upto 2 RUN 3Cx300 Sq mm, XLPE cable -01 No(e) Fault passage indicator (FPI) with in-built Overcurrent, Short Circuit and earth fault indicationFPI should have external indication. -01 NoFPI should act as communicable ammeter as it shall support sharing load data with FRTU. FPI should be of same make as that of RMU. -01 No(f) Cable Boots suitable for actual cable size -01 No(g) Auxiliary switch : LBS - 2 NO +2 NC, Earth switch - 1 NO + 1 NC -01 No(h) Mechanicaloperation counter -01 No 3 (ii). Vacuum circuit breaker (VCB) (Two No each comprising of the following:(a) 11 KV, 630A,21KA for 3sec manual spring charged VCB with spring assisted mechanism and series trip coil; with built in manual line side three position disconnector cum earth switch.Earthing should be completed within 2 operations only(i.e 1. Main switch - OFF, 2. Earth switch - ON). Vacuum interrupter should be of same make as that of RMU. The circuit breakers shall have 2 positions: open or disconnected and closed. A separate and independent 3 position earthing switch and disconnector shall be fitted to open and earth the cables in such way that interlocks prevent all unauthorized operations. An independent mechanism shall be fitted for the 3 positions earthing switch and disconnector. Circuit breaker shall have a min of 2000 mechanical and 2000 electrical operations at rated current and 50 nos of operations at rated short circuit current. Disconnectorand earthswitch shall have a min of 1000 (M1) mechanical operations. The earthing switch shall be fitted with its own operating mechanism and manual closing shall be driven by a fast-acting mechanism, independent of operator action. 01 No(b) Position indicator through clear front mimic in line with IEC 62271-103 -01 No(c) Self powered relay with O/C , E/F protection. Relay should have a front USB port for laptop interface , LCD display ,10 event records, 5 fault records with time stamp, min 2 setting group and keypad for setting parameters for the relay. Relay should be of same make as that of RMU -01 No(d) Suitable CT ratio **/1 A, Class 1 / 5P10 , 2.5VA for protection.MFM for outgoing breaker with modbus RS485 -01 Set(e) Live cable indicator with indications (Voltage Presence Indicator) at the front and three inlets provision to check the synchronization of phases.VPI should be of same make as that of RMU -01 No(f) Cable box with termination bushing suitable for upto 2 RUN 3Cx300 Sq mm, XLPE cable including suitable touch proof termination kit -01 Set 4 (g) Cable Boots suitable for actual cable size -01 Set(h) Mechanical operation counter -01 No(j) Emergency trip push button -01 No(iii). Air Insulated Bus Connected Unit comprising the following(a) Air Insulated enclosure with necessary bus connection-01 No(b) 11KV/rt3/110V/rt3; 50VA class 0.5. Single phase bus PT for metering -03 No(iv). Accessories(a) Antireflex operating handle -01 No(b) Manometer with remote contact -01 NoNote:- RMU shall be mounted on PCC foundation/platform as per site requirement. The cost of PCC foundation is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the bidder. The PCC platform shall be constructed as directed by GE. 5 Supply,laying, testing and commissioning HT 11 KV Volts grade overhead Arial Bunch Conductor of size 3 core x 95 sqmm + 1 core x 70 sqmm having phase conductor of stranded compacted circular aluminium, Conductor screen of extruded semi conducting compound, XLPE insulated, Insulation screen of semi conducting compound, overall Metalic screen of copper type, extruded PVC type ST2 sheathed, twisted armoured bare aluminium alloy messenger conductor generally as per IS-7098/P-2on steel tubular pole complete all as specified and directed.Note:- All the accessories like hooks, clamps etc; required for hanging of the ABC cable shall be included in the quoted rate by the bidder. 6 Steel tubular swaged pole, type 410 SP-55, 11 metre long, complete with mild steel base plate 6mm thick of size 300mm x 300mm, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts, washers and screws, including drilling of holes of required size and nuts for hanging of cable, painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxideand two coats of black bituminous paint for portion embedded in concrete, painting five black and white bands at lower portion of pole each of 300 mm height at 300mm spacing complete all as specified and directed. 7 Supply, laying, testing and commissioning aluminium conductor, HT,XLPE insulated,PVC inner sheathed, GI strip or wire armoured and overall PVC sheathed ,heavy duty 11000 volts (E) grade in trenches/on surface of wall/ in GI pipe including dressing and clamping the cable with MS Zinc Passivated clamps and fixing suitable thimbles/lugs including cable glands of suitable size etc of cross-sectional area 95 Sqmm, 3 core complete all as specified and directed . 8 Earth work in excavation by mechanical means Hydraulic excavator)/ in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out in any type of soil (the excavated soil) anddisposal of surplus excavated soil, within a lead of 50m complete all as specified and directed. 9 Plain Cement concrete 1:3:6 type D-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate), as in foundations, filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed. 10 Cable jointing kitfor 11 KV (earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrinkable type joint, complete with and including jointing material and accessories suitable for XLPE armoured aluminium cable of size 50 sqmm to 95 sqmm, 3 corewith and including connecting single thimbles etc; complete all as specified and directed. 11 Plain Cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm-graded crushed stone aggregate),as in coping and benching including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating including necessary formwork and finishing the exposed surfaces, complete all as specified and directed 12 Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 6.0mm thick buried directly in ground ( earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level ) with top edge plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized earth strip of size 32x6mmas earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, chuck nuts and washers of galvanized iron earth lead with 15 cm thick alternate layers of charcoal dust & common slat including PCC pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1, RCC covermade out of cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) reinforced with TMT steel bars 8 mm dia @150 mm c/c both ways with suitable handle andangle iron (40 x 40 x 5) mm frame, GI medium grade watering pipe 20 mm bore and funnel with wire mesh, light grade protection pipe 40mm bore up to main board complete all as shown on electrical plate No 3 of MES Sch 2009 (Part-I) and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note: - On testing after completion of earthing, if desired earth resistance is not obtained, the earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk & cost to the entire satisfaction. 13 Dismantling PCC, steel poles/struts, any size complete all as directed. 14 Dismantling cross-arms of M.S. channel or angle sections etc; complete all as directed. 15 Dismantling insulators any type, any size, complete all as directed. 16 Dismantling of ACSR or AAC conductors, complete all as specified and directed. 17 Dismantling stay assembly complete all as directed. 18 Dismantling Gang operating devices any type any size complete all as directed. 19 Dismantling Earthing any type, any size complete all as directed. 20 Dismantling lighting arrestor any type, any size complete all as directed. 21 Deduction to be made from BOQfor Sch A Part -II (Schedule of credit) Amount of Rs. 1,19,000.00 during AOC.Note: Tenderers shall not quote for this schedule.
