| 11 | Providing, laying and jointing RCC NP4 jacking pipe (with steel pushing collar) with suitable leak proof joints (with using `12mm MDF sheets etc.) with compliance for maintaining slope as per design by trenchless method adopting Micro tunnelling method or any suitable mechanical technology below ground at all depth under running traffic condition including carrying out survey work at the job site for determining underground cable trenches like telephone, power cable, water & sanitary lines and resistivity tests for finding the soil strata using necessary equipment’s for completion of work, mobilizing of machineries and specialized crew at the job site, etc. complete in all respects, including excavation of drive pit and exit pit (upto 3 metre depth) with proper protection at the three sides, providing and casting of MS cutting edges for front shield and constructing thrust bed at designed level as directed by the Engineer, necessary de-watering and providing concrete foundations at the base of the Drive pit, crane for handling of pipes, and any other machinery, tool & tackles required, construction of temporary works as per requirement complete in all respect (all depths) with all lead and lifts, as per specification and the direction of the Engineer. Note- 1. Manual Pipe jacking is not permitted for workmen safety reasons. 2. Length of pipe shall be measured in between the outer wall of two manholes / Inspection chambers. Pipe in the manhole/inspection chamber’s wall shall deemed to be included in the item of manhole/inspection chamber shall not be payable. |
