AT SUCTION & 1 NO AT DISCHARGE LINE(TOTAL 2 NOS) SCOPE OF WORK 1) MAKE TEMORARY PLATFORMS FOR BLANKING 2) FABRICATE TWO NOS OF MS BLANKS (3-5 mm THICK) 3) AFTER TAKING CLEARANCE FROM SITE I/C SERVICE BOLTS BEFOREHAND WHERE BLANKINGS ARE TO BE DONE .4) CUT & MAKE READY 4 NOS.(2 EACH FOR 1 FLANGE) OF PACKINGS IN ADVANCE. 5)COLLECT 2 NOS OF GAS MASKS & 2 EXTRA OXYGEN CYLINDERS FROM E.M.D .6) ON THE DAY OF BLANKING SHIFT ALL THE REQD.TOOLS &TACKLES, 4 NOS. OF FLANGE OPENERS, GAS MASKS ETC.TO SITE BEFORE START OF THE JOB. 7) CONTRACTOR MUST ENSURE THAT NO WORKMAN WORKS IN EMPTY STOMACH. 8) BLANKING OF SUCTION & DISCHARGE LINES CAN BE DONE IN ANY ORDER OR SIMULTANEOUSLY.9) AFTER TAKING CLEARANCE LOOSE THE FLANGE & MAKE A GAP OF 8-10 MM BY FLANGE OPENER.CHECK THE CONDITION OF PACKING,CHANGE IT IF NOT FOUND OK,INSERT THE BLANK AS PER DIRECTION OF SITE I/c &TIGHTEN THE FLANGE. REPEAT THE PROCEDURE FOR.
