Soil Investigation Work At Motijheel Gate Area.- 1 Mobilization charges of all tools and plants withaccessories, materials, labours, supervision etc. at site ofwork-required in connection with boring and testing workincluding setting up boring and shift to different bore holepoints etc. and also including withdrawal of the same fromthe site after completion of work Payment will be made after successful completion of work. 2 Labour for making Bore-Holes of 150mm to 250mm dia. byany 323it- standard method to any depth below groundlevel/bed level in all kinds of soil like clay,, silt, sand, stiffclay, mixed soils etc. except rocks (for the purpose ofcollecting Disturbed & Un disturbed soil samples,conducting Standard Penetration Test at suitable intervalsetc.) including preparation and submission of bore-log asper IRC: 75 and 78 and Clause 2400 of pecifications forRoad & Bridge Works (5th Revision), Published by IRC,and also including hire charges of tools and plants completeas per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.a) When Casingpipe is used to prevent collapse of bore hole (casing pipe tobe finally ithdrawn) (depth Om to 10 m 3 i) Depth greater than 10m and upto 20m 4 II) Depth greater than 20 mtr and upto 30 mtr 5 Laboratory Investigation:(i)Liquid Limit as per IS 2720 (Part-V). 6 i) Plastic Limit as per IS 2720 (Part-V) 7 ii) Grain size analysis by Sieving as per IS 2720 (Part-IV). 8 iv) Grain size analysis by Hydrometer Method as per IS 2720 (Part IV). 9 v) Determination of Water Content as per IS-2720 (Part-II 10 vi) Determination of Specific Gravity as per IS 2720 (Part-III). 11 vii) Direct Shear Test as per IS 2720 (Part-XIII). 12 viii) Determination of Unconfmed Compression Strength as per IS 2720 (Part-X).Undistrub 13 viii) Determination of Unconfmed Compression Strength as per IS 2720 (Part-X).Undistrub 14 xi) Determination of Water Content Dry Density relation using light compaction as per IS 2720 (Part-VII). 15 xii) Determination of Water Content Dry Density relationusing heavy compaction as per IS 2720 (Part-VIII) 16 xiv) Determination of Consolidation Properties as per IS2720 (Part -XIV) 17 xvi) Tri-Axial Share Testa) Determination of Shear strength Parameters of aspecimen tested in Unconsolidated Undrained Tri-axialcompression without measurement of pore water pressure asper IS2720 (Part-XI) 18 b) Determination of Shear strength Parameters of aspecimen tested in Consolidated Undrained Tri-axialcompression Test with measurement of pore water pressureas per IS2720 (Part-XII) 19 c) Determination of Shear strength Parameters of a soil fromConsolidated Drained Test as per IS 2720 (Part-X). 20 xvii) Laboratory Determination of Permeability as per IS2720 (Part XVII). 21 B Field Investigation: 22 (v) Collection of Undisturbed soil sample from the bore holeto be made by the concerned Division/Party at their cost. (i)0.0m -10.0m 23 (ii) 10.0m - 20.0m 24 (ii) 20.0m - 30.0m 25 vi) Standard Penetration Tests (S.P.T.) by Split SpoonSampler in the bore hole as per IS 2131. (i) 0.0m- 10.0m 26 (ii) 10.0m - 20.0m 27 (ii) 20.0m - 30.0m 28 Carriage of all Disturbed & Undisturbed Samples from siteof work to the Divisjonal office or elsewhere includingloading and unloading as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Detailed Investigation. 29 Preparation and submission of report in 6 (Six) copies,giving all 330,item-relevant information data like site plan,Bore log and water table, testresults, calculations, discussions, suggestions andrecommendations in respect of suitable foundation etc.including determination of silt factor calculation ofwaterways and complete design of foundation includinganalysis of Bearing Capacities and settlements in bound andpresentable form complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.b) Detailed Investigation 30 Total 31 GST @18% 32 CESS @1%
