Tender For Provision Of External Electrification And Allied Works For Otm Accn At Leh; 1 Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of diesel engine driven Generating setduly cerified by the manufacturer as per CPCB-IV+emission Norms for noise and pollution, of capacity 100 KVA ,415 Volts, 0.8 Power factor, mounted on common base frame with flexible coupling, 1500 RPM, with silencer pipe protected with asbestos rope independently supported from engine to outside of power house upto 1.0 metre, AVM pads, PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate ) foundation as per manufactures design, cold starting kit , battery start with suitable cables for connecting from DG Set to panel board ( The DG set shall be capable of operating in temp range of(-35° to + 35° C ) at 3500 mtrs alitude complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge with and including the following:- (A) Diesel EngineVertical diesel engine of suitable capacity Liquid cooled (Radiator mounted), closed circuit as per or IS system having rated speed 1500 RPM . The DG Set shall be capacity of running 24 hours continously with 10% overloading for one hour in every 12 hours run as per BS-5514. Engine shall be equipped with all standard fitting as per manufacturers recommendations and mounted on common base frame with following accessories / fittings :- (i) Fly wheel with housing (ii) Air Cleaner-Oil bath type (iii) Corrosion resistors.(iv) Fuel filter, Oil filter 2 (v) FIP System including pump injectors, solenoid controls, nozzled governors etc. (vi) Oil cooler and oil pumps as applicable.(vii) Radiators fan belt.(viii) Water pump assembly including thermostat etc.(ix) Silencer with buffers or expension joints, tail piece duly insulated with asbestos lagging and sufficiently extended to carry exhaust outside the power house building/room.(x) Engine protection device against low lubricant oil pressure, high oil temperature, over speeding of engine.(xi) Digital hour meter, RPM meter water temperature meter, oil pressure gauge,lubricating oil pressure guage and oil temperature gauge. (xii) Battery charging ammeter.(xiii) Ignition key and starting with push button switch.(xiv) Eletrionic governor controlling.(xv) Cold starting kit fitting with engine.(xvi) Anti vibration pads of required numbers.(xvii) 12 Volts starting equipment comprising of the following:- (a) 1 Nos 12 Volts 180 AH battery maintenance free including by stand made of iron frame. (b) Battery charging altenator with in built regulator.(c) Starter motor of suitable capacity.(d) Battery leads ( coppper cables ) of suitable size with brass thimbles and terminals. 3 (B) ALTERNATOR : Alternator rating 100 KVA 3 Phase, 50 cycles 415 volt, 4 wire supply at NTP, 0.8 power factor running @ 1500 RPM self excited , self regulated, mounted on strong fabricated steel frame suitable for mounting on a permanent foundation to be coupled with above engine. The alternator shall be conforming toIS-4722 , BSEN60034-1 alongwith self regulated AVR system.(C) CONTROL PANEL (To be supplied by firm supplying DG set): Alternator control panel cubical type with internal copper wiring with copper conductorcable of suitable size for 100KVA alternator, 415 Volts, 3 phase 4 wire, 50 cycles fabricated out of 3 mm thick MS sheet, painted with seven tank process,including following accessories as per manufacturer instructions :-(i) Set of copper bus bar ( for 3 phase and neutral) of 1000 Amps current rating including coloured sleeves ( of R Y B and black for neutral ) mounted over porcelain or PVC insulators with minimum air gap of 10 cm between phase of phase and bus bar. (ii) Flush mounted AC digital voltmeter with selector switch 0-500 Volts, with Selector switch -01 No.(iii) Flush mounted digital ammeter 0-500 Amp Selector switch and CTs of suitable range-01 No(iv) Flush mounted Digital frequency meter.(v) Digital energy meter having facility to show KWH, KW, KVA, Power factor readings.(vi) Set of indicating lamps, LED Type.(vii) Set of instrument fuses. 4 (D) OTHER FITTINGS(I) Battery Charger. Battery charger having electric circuit consiting of triodes, rectifier, capacitors and resistance etc. The battery charger should be able to charge the battery at all the time whenever electric supply given to battery charger through control panel or electric power point.(ii) FUEL TANK.Inbuilt fuel tank for 12 hours running as per standard specifications of manufacturer including armoured flexible pipe upto fuel pump oil level indicator etc. of manufacturer.(iii) Rubber matting Chequred of size 2 m x 1 m x 12 mm thick -02 Nos.Note : (i) Accoustic enclosure:- DG set shall fitted with acoustic enclosure suitable for 100 KVA all as per manufacturers instructions and conforming to CPCB Norms. Acoustic enclosure shall comply with revised noise level of 75dB (A) at distance of 1 Mtr as per ISO : 8528 Part 10 specified by Min of Environment and Forest. (ii) The cost of foundation shall be deemed to be included in rates quoted by the contractor as per manufacturer design. (iii)All connections of XLPE Cable from DG set toChange over in proposed LT Panel.Cost of connection deemed to be included in the quoted rate by the contractor. 5 Supplying, Installation, Commissioning and testing of transformer step down 11/0.415 KV capacity 100 KVA, out door type copper wound 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 cycles per second, oil immersed naturally cooled external cooling tube core type delta connection on primary side (HV side) and + 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, 10% to be charged by means of hand operated, on load/tap changing gear including first filling of new transformer oil of dielectric strength not less than 60KV with standard fittings such as two earthing terminals for body and one additonal for neutral brought out in bushing, oil level gauge indicator for level minimum and maximum, lifting lugs, rating and terminal plate, plain breather device to prevent ingress of rain water and inserts, drain cum sampling valve 20mm bore steel with plug, dial type thermo meter, oil filling hole 32mm threaded with plug. The transformer shall be powder coated for water/dust and vermin proof complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note :- 1) Transformer oil shall be conforming to requirements of IS-1180 Part-I (2014) & IS-2026 specification for new insulating oil for transformers.2) Equipment shall be suitable to operate at 4200 mtr above MSL at temperature variation between -35°C to (+) 35°C. 3)All connections of XLPE Cable fromTranformertoChange over in proposed LT Panel.Cost of connection deemed to be included in the quoted rate by the contractor. 6 Construction of PCC platform with Guard Angle and Chain link fencing for singletransformer of size 3.00 x 2.50 x 1.20 m high from natural ground levelcomplete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 7 Supply,laying and testing XLPE insulated cable ,screened PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armoured ,electric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor ,1100 volt grade ,cross sectional area 150 sqmm 3.5 corecomplete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 8 Supply,layingandtestingXLPEinsulatedcable, screened PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armoured ,electric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminuim conductor,11000 volt grade ,cross sectional area 95 sqmm 3 core complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 9 Supply and errection in vertical position Steel Tubular swaged poles erected truly vertical or planted as strut complete with 6 mm thick mild steel base plate, welded to pole, B-118 final taper cap,bolts,nuts & screws, poles made out of ERW MS tubing conforming to IS 2713 Part-II. Type 410-SP-55 (11 M long) including drilling of holes of required size for fixing of cross arms, painting the exposed surfaces of pole with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of zinc chrome primer and two coats of black bituminous paint internally & portion embadded in concrete, making five black & white bands at lower position of pole each 300 mm wide alternatively, and marking pole No. with black paint at suitable height complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note :- Excavation and earth work, PCC in foundation shall be measured and paid for separetely. 10 Un-reinforced precast factory made concrete cable covers, class HV type-I, conforming to IS-5820-1970 with peak size 300x180x40 mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 11 Un-reinforced precast factory made concrete cable covers, class LV, type-I, flat, of size 250x180x40 mmcomplete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 12 S&F Switch air break gang operated tripple pole mechanically operated from ground level mounted on 12 insulators outdoor type suitable for vertical installation single break provided with locking arrangement for operating handle including seven levers Navtal lock consisting of mild steel channel HT post top insulator copper alloy high pressure assembly with drop out expulsion fuses for phases, operating rod of 20 mm dia medium grade G.I. pipe complete conforming to IS-1018 of 1972 with continuous current rating 200 Amps 11KV grade complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 13 S&F Lighting arrestor, high tension expulsion type complete with all fitting transmission class, discharge capacity 65 KA, 11 kilo volts complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 14 Cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates, fabricated out of structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 15 Cable jointing kit for 11KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination cold shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95 Sqmm complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 16 Anti climbing device, spikes type fabricated out of MS bars (round, square and flat) including nuts, bolts washer and welding in two halves made to shape to suit the cross section of the pole complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 17 S & F Danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letter, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT, 25x20cm size complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 18 Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600mm X 600 mm X6.30mm thick burried directly in ground {earth plate not !ess than 2.25m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level connectedtoand including GI earth lead of GI wire 4.00 mm thick by means of steel bolts,nuts,check nuts and washers test points made of GI strip 40X8mm, 10 cm long ,PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 in pit, angle iron 25X25X3mm frame work with precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 cover reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 150mm C/C both ways and 12mm dia MS fabricated handle, medium grade GI watering pipe 20mm bore with funnel, wire mesh and light grade GI protection pipe 15mm bore upto 5m length for drawing in earth lead ,salt,charcol etc. including excavation and earth work in any type of soil , removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m complete all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of MES SSR 2009 Part-I and connected complete all as specifiedand as directed by Engr-in-Charge including testing on completion. (Note:Earth conductor beyond 7.5 mtr shall be measured and paid separately) 19 Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600mm X 600 mm X 6mm thick burried directly in ground {earth plate not !ess than 2.25m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level connectedtoand including using galvanised iron strip 32x6mm as earthing leadthick by means of steel bolts,nuts,check nuts and washers test points made of GI strip 40X8mm, 10 cm long ,PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 in pit, angle iron 25X25X3mm frame work with precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 cover reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 150mm C/C both ways and 12mm dia MS fabricated handle, medium grade GI watering pipe 20mm bore with funnel, wire mesh and light grade GI protection pipe 15mm bore upto 5m length for drawing in earth lead ,salt,charcol etc. including excavation and earth work in any type of soil , removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR 2009 Part-I and connected complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Chargeincluding testing on completion. (Note:Earth conductor beyond 7.5 mtr shall be measured and paid separately) 20 Excavation in trenches not exceeding 0.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for trench,pole foundation etc or shaft, well cess, pits manholes, pier holes etc, not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out as in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 21 Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm as in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 22 Removing excavated material (soil) not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 23 Sand cushioning to the full width of trenches for protection of cables including cushing down complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 24 Plain cement concrete type B-1 (1:2:4) using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregateas in benching , copping around pole (above GL) etc including weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angles and fair finshing the exposed surfaces concrete using exera cement including necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 25 Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mmcrushed graded stone aggregate/as in foundatiion for stay and necessary form work for rough finished surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 26 Plain cement concrete type D-2 (1:4:8) using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete Complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
