    Bids Are Invited For Repair and Overhauling Service - REPAIR RESTORATION OF MAIN BOILER WATER DRUM IN SHIP; ANY OTHER SUITABLE BRAND; No; Buyer Premises REPAIR/RESTORATION OF MAIN BOILER WATER DRUM-IN SHIP 1 Degutting and fitment of boller accessories 2 Welding procedure specification for the welding process. Precedure qualification record and welder performance qualification in consultation with OEM Woods Foster Wheeler. MIL-STD 248 3 Mandatory mock-up of 24M carbon steel plate with consumbles and preparation and qualification test. Material mild std carbon steel SA 212 Gr B and lab testing of the mock plates fromb. MIL-STD 248, Apendix 58 (1) plate cutting, machining, Bevel preparation for weld coupons, (ii) Low-hydrogen electrodes E7018 (multi-pass welding, 40 Kg), (ii) Argon gas for GTAW root-passes (1 cylinder), (iv) Pre-heat equipment rental & setup (induction/torch, 150 C) 4 NABL accredited lab testing for physical and chemical properties 5 Formation of QAP by OEM including all hold points. Maker, checker and approval of the Boiler Designer of M/s Woods Foster Wheeler Positioning of expert with supervision 6 Boiler designer OEM ex USA consultancy including travel, accommodation, transporation and visit onboard any inspection of the weld repair and certify all hold points 7 Compatible filler material with SA 212 Gr. B material of the water drum. Specialist euipment, preheating of electrode at 250 to 300 Deg C. soaking and holding temp at 100 Deg C (with oven) 8 Preparation of drum surface degreasing run. 9 Pre-heating of the water drum surface. As per NAVSEA para 5-2.4.1 Apendix 5C using either heater set up or torch 10 Application of temperature sesitive crayon to control the surface temperature during Pre-heating Total Quantity :
