    Tender For Expression Of Interest For Hiring Domain Expert / Consultancy Services For Analysis Of Complications Encountered In A Specific Deep Water Well Drilled By Ongc And For Providing Complete Drilling Engineering Solutions For Successful Drilling Of Ultra Deep Water Wells With Heavy To Total Mud Loss & Associated Complications During drilling of an Ultra Deep-water Wildcat Well [W.D 1870M]; severe to total mud losses were encountered in 12-1/4” section beyond 2615 m depth. Losses to the extent of >6000 bph was observed; Riser filling with up to 1600 gpm discharge was being done. Multiple mitigation measures were adopted, such as, placement of 25 LCM Pills of various composition, dosages and volumes (dosages upto 120 ppb and volume upto 350 bbl ) and 11 Cement Plug jobs (09 gel cement plug jobs, 01 neat cement plug job and 01 proprietary thixotropic Cement job). The Well initially utilized SOBM with a mud weight of 9.3 ppg, later replaced by WBM and reduced to 8.8 ppg in response to the losses. BHT = 35–40°C. Core cutting at this loss zone depth interval revealed highly porous, vuggy limestone formation. The complication remained unresolved and to prevent further linked complications like emptying of riser, instability of hole etc., drilling was stopped, and the Well was prematurely abandon
